Sage & Citrus Oud

Not my favorite of the house, it is a slightly sweet and uplifting fragrance. I'm not going to try to go into the detail of what it smells similar to or what it's like but the disappointment with this and this is also my disappointment with spice bergamot and Oris is that the projection is just simply not there. I also have the same disappointment with Urban oud and I actually really like that one. The projection is just not there. However the projection on white Moroccan leather, desert oud (by far the best), and royal saffron oud is great! Also santal journey has impressive projection. Just letting you all know.

First impressions: this smells really good! Was not expecting this to be among my favorites from the discovery set, but so far it is. I'll have to spend more time with it, but this is very well blended, and the components compliment each other well!

Super easy to wear, day or night formal or informal. Clever take on an Italian Colonia with a more prominent woody base. Love it

One of the fresher offerings from the house of Habibi, and it's a darn good one. A clean, woody, and fresh fougere with a touch of soapiness is the best way to describe it. It opens with a fresh, bright, citrus back by refreshing lavender. There is an interesting twist to it all though and that is the cumin and the black pepper. It is noticeable if you go looking for it but nothing that sits at the front of the composition. Nothing about this is this is "oud-y" or animalic. This would be a great spring/summer casual fragrance

This immediately reminded me of an old school lemony/spicy mens cologne topped by oud. They felt like two indie's put together in one package vs. blended..if that makes sense. Still - as Ouds go it is nice mellow not in your face like some ouds. I've gone down the Oud rabbit hole so I am all about those strong Oud punches in the face so this one came across a bit too genteel for me. My BF liked it though and he's not into fragrance at all...so perhaps a starter oud??? its nice!
