Halloween Blue Drop

Review is for my own reference - this smells almost identical if not the same as D&G Light Blue. It smells different when first sprayed, but the dry down is the same as light blue. It is not as strong (silage and longevity) as Light Blue. It's a nice fresh clean scent. I probably wouldn't buy this only BC you can get DGLB for really cheap if I wanted this scent. Citrus with a bit of spice. The 'juice' is a beautiful colour and the bottle reminds me of the rose case from Beauty and The Beast. Daytime spring/summer. Edit: after wearing it for about 5 hours, I can smell a more floral scent on my skin. No more citrus just a faint old lady floral. Not gross, but different than Light Blue or Not a Perfume by Juliette's Got A Gun

Indeed, this is not an identical dupe of D&G's Light Blue, it is a sweeter and cheaper fragrance, but really close to it. If you enjoy Light Blue, but you would prefer the white flowers touch and a bit less of the wood on the base notes, go for Blue Drop. Plus, it's really affordable. Not to mention the Lemon note is absolutely delicious. Yes, it is sweeter than in Light Blue, but it doesn't mean is cloying at all. It's perfectly balanced. The longevity is alright considering it is a citric perfume. Overall - delecious, classy and not too sweet lemon note, with a soft (but noticiable) and powdery dry down. It's worth it.

Light Blue is my mom's signature summer fragrance since forever, and I myself went through a few bottles in my early 20s. Hearing that this one is very close to LB, I got super curious. I have to say, it is basically the same. Maybe this one opens up a little bit more sharply, but other than that it's identical. If you love Light Blue this might be a good alterative! And if you hate this one you won't like Light Blue either.

Seriously amazing! Reminds me of my youth when I used to lick sliced lemons with sugar on them. It's really fresh and sweet, when I'm wearing this fragance it feels like I'm spraying the cleanest water there is. It's clean, it's fresh and it's sweet. What an amazing, combination, I love it!

i got this for my kids, i really like this one, very fresh and a little spicy, smell perfect for sunny and warmer days or to do sports on the oudtside

I watched a YouTuber saying it smelled like blue skittles. I can totally see it! This could be blue sugared gummies, Blue Kool Aid, Smurfette. Think of citrics + a strong wave of cool and very cold liquid turquoise colored sugar. Then it turns marine. Then it’s gone. It seems to have a sort of balmy or oily texture once sprayed on the skin? Not sure what it was but I liked it! I sprayed it on the department store. I stepped outside into a very high temperature and the sugared wave evaporated within 2 minutes. Then it was marine for around 40 minutes and then I don’t know what it was but it was soft and pleasant, yet unable to detect unless you really looked for it. Will sound strange but in the coolness of the department store the first layer of the perfume lasted way longer, so maybe this could really be glorious in cold climate. I personally don’t care that much for the marine dry down, but I certainly prefer it to Light Blue... a smell I can’t stand. To me it has the most unpleasant after shave stink. That marine smell is much better here, although it doesn’t drive me crazy. Where I live is €20 so will try out a bottle :)

Finally I decided to try Halloween blue drops and D&G light blue side by side Light blue is my mom's signature scent so it's not new to my nose but I had never tried it myself Before side by side test I thought they're identical but now I see that blue drop opens more intense with sharp,juicy spicy citruses(reminding moschino funny).light blue isn't that sharp and is less spicy.I detect a hint of crisp apple,florals and woods in both of them,but blue drop calms down to a faint soapy citrus.it soon becomes very faint but light blue keeps it's intensity for more time All in all they're very similar,but I prefer light blue because I find if from higher quality,more balanced and with more staying power but bluedrop can be a good dupe for light blue and is a little cheaper,so not bad Halloween blue drop is a fresh,citrus scent with a juicy,spicy opening and clean musky,woody drydown.it's a warm weather scents with moderate longevity,and soft to moderate sillage after first minutes ❤❤

It does remind of D&G Light Blue but it is a lot less woody on the dry down and more floral. The tops notes remind me of a drink we had on our holiday made of coke, vodka and lots of lemon juice. But that changed quite quickly to a watery note and the dry down is deffinitely slightly spicy (from the amber and cinnamon) and sweet from the musk and white flowers. I really, really, liked it but sadly we didn't have a proper summer this year so I didn't buy it.

It smells very close to Secret Wish by Anna Sui, but nowhere near as long-lasting. Poof and it's gone in a flash. No staying power or projection that I can see. Smells really nice, and I love the blue juice, but since I have Secret Wish, which I love, I don't think I need to add this.

It was in a cute blue bottle, so I decided to give it a try. When original Halloween was a complete nightmare, this one is surprisingly good. Fresh, light, clean and uplifting. Very nice everyday scent. A lighter and cheaper version of Light Blue.

This is just Green Apple with light citruses. It reminds me apple dish soap. It doesnt have sexy woody base. For me this is very basic, unisex, fresh, green apple scent. Only for light everyday refreshing.

It damn chills me out amazingly while wearin it in freezin autumn nights bud does not last an any long on my skin :(((((((((((

Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue + Moschino I Love Love. Really fresh and nice but not very original.

parecido a light blue D&G, pero mucho, mucho más cítrico. Muy apto para dias calurosos.

Light Blue stripped of its woody base. Intensely lemon with a touch of white flowers.

Tried my spray sample vial yesterday, immediately smelled citrus, predominantly lemon. 30 minutes later this frag disappeared and I concluded I didn't apply thoroughly (3 sprays, both arms, chest, dabbed remaining droplets behind the ears). Today I sprayed 5 sprays - same method with an extra spray over my head and a spritz on my cotton t-shirt. I smelled citrusy fruit with a hint of apples. 5 hours later I barely get a hint of freshness and something white floral, not jasmine. No lavender, violet, spices, or musk. If there is a base it might be a tiny bit of amber. I've never used Light Blue so I can't compare. Eclat d'Arpege was mentioned as reminiscent. Not to me, Eclat has something much stronger or musky in the base. Blue Drop is not offensive but not compelling either. But sometimes frags that smell like lemony cleaning products perfectly suit one's mood. I like trying fresh and light frags, I will throw my money at Cheap & Chic I Love Love and a sample of Light Blue for my next experiments.

I received this fragrance as a gift. It's nothing new or special, but a fresh eau de toilette perfect for everyday use in summer days. I perceive a resemblance to Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue -which I don't like-, but with better, not so overly citrussy scent, and I can notice white flowers. It's also less quality than light blue, but honestly, I like this more. Consider that it has terrible performance (stays in my skin ~2h and then starts to disappear), but it's OK for the price.

This one was also not for me. I didn’t find it overpriced, but I really disliked the scent. It was too sour and too citrusy for my taste. To me, it smelled like straight-up ocean-scented shower gel. It also felt salty and sharp, and I couldn’t enjoy wearing it at all. This type of citrusy, aquatic scent is just not my thing. I will never repurchase this perfume.

I feel this is an ultra-brutal version of Light Blue. A lot stronger, almost offensive. I look at the notes here and I see my favourite lavender and violets but where are they?! Surely not in the bottle:( Citruses and AMBER just kicked them out! What a shame!:'( Nothing like other JDP perfumes, which are unique and inspiring.

Performance is abysmal. I can barely smell it.

Yes, this is a Light Blue dupe, but I find it prettier than that. I would prefer this any day..I find it more feminine. Citruses are not as sharp in the opening, and there's clearly more floral notes going on in this altogether. Citruses are just fleeting, and it's mostly tangerine that I get, there's no lemon anywhere near.. The drydown is also sweeter, more flowery and I even get amber. To be honest the drydown on me is a bit of a powdery oldschool lipstick scent, which was surprising.. Longevity isn't that great, but I guess for some 4 hours you're good to go. It was defo a good idea of trying it. If you like LB, you'll probably be okay with this one just as well..it could make a decent enough pressie as well for a young girl, or someone who likes LB. EDIT: A few days later I realized that this also reminds me a lot of Lanvin's Eclat d'Arpege..It's like this one, with a hint of LB. Someone should try layering those with each other, and this is what you'd get..

I had all the Halloween versions, but this one is the least original. It reminds all popular fresh amd citrus perfumes I used to have ever: I love love Moschino, Light blue D&G, Cafe-Cafe Iced (I like it most) and a few others I can't remember. But I knew it because I had read the description and reviews before going to smell it. But it's a good choice for summer, for beach and just warm evenings as well. Two reasons why I bought it: for collection and it's very like a perfume(limited and unpopular) I once smelled but never found again. I bought 30 ml- more than enough. This time, they don't create small bottles(5 ml). I would rather buy one. By the way, the bottle has been modified- the glass is matt, unlike all the previous versions.

I really want to like this, it shows that it smells like light blue (never tried Light blue). I can only smell the lemon and lime from start until it dries down, feels like i just cut a lemon and rub it on my skin. I sprayed it on paper initially and after one hour I can't smell anything at all, I sprayed on my wrist and after 30 to 45 mins its again gone. Bought it in Notino so this is original. I will give it a try on a very hot summer day next year and will write another review here. I'm still giving it a chance and i'm not hating this. I think this is really depends on our chemistry with fragrances , everyone of us has different reactions with the scents on our clothes and skin.

First I smell a pure lemon juice. Then someone adds some sweet fruit to it, so the fragrance becomes more sugary, still keeping it's freshness, lightness. It's not unique, not recognizable, not really a signature scent. I saw the base notes- musk, amber, cinnamon, spices- are they kidding? I feel none of them! None! Sea, gym (after a good shower), summer evenings - that's where I would use this. Staying power- about 1,5 hours. And then it's gone!

It's very intensive version of d&g "light blue" -and it said many people before as I see:) Everything too much,too fresh too muscy too fruits and sea water;) What I love at "light blue "-that when it calm down,smell became silky scarf of delicate sweet notes - here it's just loud love song for citrus-sugar-musc that disappears after couple hours

I gotta say in my skin I don't smell at all the other notes. SADLY I just smell citruses and very veryyy sharp by the way, like the ones you smell In dish soap. Just 🍋, artificial lemon. I didn't exactly like it but if you just love the scent of citrus and JUST that it's for you but maybe it has do to with my body chemistry.

Fresh cut lemon... Oh My God... It is sooo fresh. It is cousin of Light Blue or Moschino Love, but I remember Chupa Chups and it is very similar to it. I don't like Light Blue. I have Moschino and I like it, but Blue Drop is the best in my point of view. It was blind buy and I did so well 🙏🌹

Really drop some water on even so the air. Here's what to take to the beach! Cool and I would not say that simple, for little girls. Clean, clear, fresh, better L'Eau par Kenzo or unclear what L'Eau 2 Kenzo pour Femme. One of the best fresh, I tried! Advise him look better.

I am absolutely loving the powdery violet dry down. It’s cozy. It’s mysterious. The delicate hint of spice is perfect. The opening is great too. Very similar to many other awesome perfumes, but the dry down is what makes makes me reach for Blue Drop.

Blue Drop is not an exact dupe for Light Blue because I have both here side by side. This one smells close but they're not identical like others say. This one smells like lemoncello. Like a lemon custard dessert. Its more sweet than Light Blue.

This is your typical citrusy (lemon) freshness, nothing groundbreaking. Ideal for sweltering summers when temperatures easily soar above 40 C/ 104 F which seems to be the norm around the world now.

When I sprayed it on my wrist, the opening was very fresh, but soon after it started to smell like citrus hard candy. If you like sweet/floral scents, that are not toooo sweet, this one's for you.

Perfect for sweltering, hot summers when you don't want to nauseate yourself or others with a heavy sillage. This perfume is light and delicate but still makes a pleasant impact.

I Love Love, but weaker, with a mild green note and unsweetened florals.

I can't wait how much I want to try it :)
