Mia Me Mine Eau de Toilette

You know what, I am so surprised by this little number. It had been sitting on my shelf for months and I was going to sell it without spraying it even once because I was so turned off by the scent I was picking up when I put my nose to the nozzle. It wasn't an unpleasant smell, it was just boring and generic, fruity and verging on aquatic (I don't like aquatic). Recently I wanted to wear something floral, and not having anything else that tickled my fancy, I thought F it and sprayed this all over myself and what a surprise! It is so pretty, and I'm most taken aback by the warmth and depth of the fragrance. It's definitely fruity, but, there's something very sensual and alluring about this scent, and not at all what I was expecting. I can't get enough of it.

I've just discovered Halloween fragrances and this is my third from this house. All three were blind buys and they did not disappoint. On my first wearing Mia Me Mine EdT opened with a tangy yuzu and a zingy but fleeting bergamot. On second thought, the zing may have been the pink pepper? I did not get any litchi, which is a shame. After several minutes came the peony, front and centre. And then it sort of blended into indistinct floral notes reminiscent of NafNaf Fairy Juice Green. I sprayed this on me a couple of hours before going to bed and when I woke up it was already a skin scent but I can see still smell a clean musk and a bit of patchouli - I like this a lot!

Something is wrong with the notes here.. I defo smell licorice in this somewhere, although it's not listed. Sugar and licorice along with florals an patchouli - this is what this perfume really is..It's pleasant and youthful, also very daring in my opinion. Not your typical sweet scent, there is a bit of bang in it. Not my type of scent, but kind of interesting, this - contrary to the original Halloween - is the one you really should wear fir Hallow's Eve..
