UPDATE: Homeland Extreme I now have a full bottle of Hommeland Extreme and boy is it good. The first half hour or so your gonna have a TON of this smoke accord, almost offputting if your not used to niche fragrance developments. But, from the 1 hour and until the 12th hour, this is an amazing, strong, gorgeous MANS fougaire style masterpiece. I actually got a compliment as well, not typical of this type of fragrance. This is a powerhouse Boss CEO type scent here, no messing around. DIFFERENCES: To My Nose Extreme-Much more amped up in smoke and maybe leather, still retaining the original DNA, but way stronger and manly, much better performance but at the cost of not being versatile. (Formal, Business, not in high heat) Original Non Extreme-A much lighter, more citrus dominated mens fougaire that smells incredibly delightful. Very well blended and versatile for any occasion. Performance is good but not Beastly, will need to refresh at the 6 hour mark. The Hommeland (non Extreme) version reminds me more of Eau Sauvage mixed with Acqua Di Parma Colonia. I get more of a lemon verbena classic mens fougaire out of this one. Blended to perfection and fairly decent performance. If you like classic style fragrances like I do, then this will be a no brainer. I plan on blind buying the Extreme just based on this and reviews. Happyland has tons of amazing fragrances for every taste, ALL are excellent quality! This gets a 9/10 for me for sure. A great manly scent for sure. Boss CEO stuff here!

Hommeland is similar to Bois Du Portugal with a slight animalic vibe. The fragrance performance is exceptional, and I would not wear anything stronger. Beast mode. Gentleman like with the right amount of dirtiness.

Soapy green oakmoss, fresh citruses, and herbal lavender atop a strong woody base. A classic fresh 'n' clean fougere, with heavier woods than most of its contemporaries. Not much more to say than that. It's kinda standard issue -- not necessarily a bad thing when going for such a well-worn scent profile -- but still with its own little twist. Moderate projection for 2-3hr, longevity 10-12hr. Hommeland Extreme, or "Man S--t" as it was originally named and not in the Fragrantica database, takes the original and adds a potent dose of leather. Very rough and smoky, although balanced in strength just before the point where it would overpower the fougere aspects. It creates a stronger, but possibly closer-sitting, scent bubble with similar longevity.

Cheaper ambroxen-bomb version of a Creed Bois du Portugal and Chanel Pour Monsieur hybrid. It's quite good. It even brought comparisons to my nose in it's far drydown to Tiffany for Men, which makes sense since I describe Tiffany for Men as a cross between Chanel Pour Monsieur and CK Obsession. Nice and smooth, but obviously simpler and of lower quality materials than BdP or Pour Monsieur or Tiffany for Men. But very nice. And like Bous du Portugal and Tiffany for Men, the longevity is outstanding. Great value.

Ambroxanated, lemony vetiver opening. Smells like Chernobyl wind. I can see my ancestors when I first smell this detergenty, chemical goop. First 15 minutes need more spice and less intensity. Settles down (thank goodness), into a powerful, traditional fougere. Still overly synthetic. Smells like the first cologne every kid gets and never uses.

It's a synthetic fragrance which just about all fragrances are today but it does dry down to a somewhat wearable barbershopy scent.

It’s like the fear factor version of BDP - except it takes the beautiful opening of lavender and bergamot and makes it into an chemical ambroxan opening that smells like cleaning supplies in an adult movie theater, and THEN if you can manage to wait 20 minutes for it to die off - you can smell a similar dry down to BDP. Customer service is awful and I’m now stuck with a bottle that I might just have to throw in the trash. There is 0 similarity in the opening, but the dry down is about 80% BDP. I’ve never wished I’d go noseblind to an opening of a fragrance before

I have the Hommeland Extreme version which is the replacement for the limited edition of “Man $hit”. Even though there is no leather, I’m getting a tanning/leathery note with the wooden accents and a bit of the green. It has just a touch of lavender for some sweetness and it’s a good choice... just enough for balance. This is most definitely a masculine fragrance but it isn’t at all off-putting or macho. Instead it’s inviting, warm and manly...as in the quiet but strong type of guy. If you are tired of the sweet stuff, this makes a great alternative. Wear it in the fall with your flannel shirt, jeans, boots and your beard. Boom! You’ll be hard pressed to find anything comparable that’s this affordable. Good Stuff! My ratings: Scent. 8.5 Performance 8 Sillage. 8 Longevity. 8

This, along with Hommeland Extreme, is, IMHO, the very best of this line of fragrances. It sort of reminds me of Creed’s Bois Du Portugal, but without the harsh initial burst with which BDP blasts you when first applied. It's a smooth fougere with a rich woody and ambergris base; a scent that brings an easy-going sense of calm when you wear it -- while projecting without overpowering. I've received numerous compliments because it smells...SO GOOD! With a genius mix of citrus, green and woody, the development and unfolding of the scent will impress and uplift you. One other note: This is a powerful parfum extract, so a little dab will do ya! A great value! On a scale of 1/10, it’s a definite10. Great frag -- grab a bottle and enjoy the olfactory artistry of E. J. Wells!

Excellent. Masculine, old school and spicy. The extreme version is the same but with added smoke and leather. Happyland Studios has released several new fragrances in the past year that rank among their best. Check the official site out, as Fragrantica doesn’t have them listed as of yet. If you like Hommeland, you will likely enjoy some of the newer ones (Malpaso, Inlandish, Mad Anthony, Cripple Creek, etc.)

I like this one more than I like the extreme version. They smell similar but the extreme version is just too much to wanna wear. Both are old school masculine scents with added Ambroxan (I happen to like Ambroxan so no complaints about that) . Tho not listed ... I feel like there might be some bay leaf in this. 🤔

This is a thicker version of Pour Monsieur Concentree, which I'm absolutely obsessed with. I love this scent
