Golden Muse

This smells like having a romantic dinner with your lover as the sun sets on the beach front and leaves the sky in shades of purple and orange. Dramatic sure, but accurate. A gorgeous interpretation of the typical beachy white floral scent profile but elevated in a salty and warmly sweet way.Opens with bright citrus and creamy coconut milk followed by salted white florals, lush and tropical. Dry down leads way to warm beachy amber and rich vanilla with remnants of salted breeze and heady white florals. A salty, warm, creamy white floral fit for vacation on the coast.

I get a very familiar salty vanilla coconut... but, I think it’s done better than some of the others I’m thinking of. Is this earth shattering in its complexity? No. But is it a really well done take on a beach coconut vanilla? Yes. And I may end up full bottling depending on how it lasts on my skin

Golden Muse reminds me a bit of my bottle of Blooming Fire but it is heavier with citruses on top which are quite fizzy and the dry down doesn't have a heavy patchouli base. I.like Blooming Fire better. It has a more year round quality to it and a deeper base. The coconut and vanilla accord in Golden Muse is quite dominant but still mixed well with the citrus and white floral accords creating a lovely sunscreen affect. I would wear this on a resort vacation or to the beach etc.... it does take you to that type of mentality. I would only wear this during the summer ⛱️. It is such a summer vacation style fragrance. It is a well done citrus, solar, coconut white floral. Easy going summer fun with a bit of sex appeal. Edit the myrrh isn't all that dominant here. This is a solar citrus floral. If you like Songes by Goutal you will probably like Golden Muse as well but this is less vintage. Much more of today. I would give this to my younger sister as a Christmas gift who is in her 30s. It would make a lovely gift and she would flip for it. I think this brand will be getting a lot of holiday business. Anyone who love solar tropical florals will like this. It is well done. Another fragrance of mine this sort of reminds me of is Splendida Tuberose Mystique. The myrrh comes though in the far dry down with both of these fragrances. I will say this is my second favorite feminine offering from the house. If I was to give all female ranking here for top 3 it would be #1Josephine that is a ride or die for me. #2 Golden Muse easy Christmas gift for my baby sister who is a solar floral nut and I think I might get this in a FB for myself. #3 Billie an easy going lemony, clean, white floral musky, almost iris clean floral musk. I just got another decant of that because it is easy to wear anywhere around anyone. Soft but noticeable. The lotion is fabulous. Need more lotion in all the feminine fragrances.

Showgirl is hands down the better fragrance of the 2 new offerings from this house. Golden Muse, for what it is, is just a "like" for me. Its definitely a salty, suntan, coconut beach vibe. At this point, I've realized this scent profile alone just isn't my jam. I have Divine, Olympea, Soliel Blanc, I wear them all, but they just don't get my gears going like a fragrance with the above PLUS a prominent fruit note to make it a true tropical scent. Drop a mango, a sweet kiwi, lemon, Banana, peach or lime, literally any sugary sweet fruit, in the TOP and I'm good. (Think Kayali's Vacay in a Bottle collection.) I for sure like it enough to use and wear it, but I wont repurchase it or any of the "suntaners" above. Prices are becoming ridiculous, and I refuse anything I don't love. This "fast and loose" perfume collector is pumping the brakes.

Golden Muse is a pleasant, solar tropical floral perfume with a good dose of creaminess from the vanilla and coconut. It's a smooth blend, no note takes over the composition and everything is perfectly proportioned. While Golden Muse is a lovely take on a beachy perfume, I wish it had a little more oomph; this is unfortunately kind of weak and sits close to the skin. If Harlem Perfume Co made an extrait or parfum I'd be all over it because this doesn't have any synthetic or funky notes like the perfumes to which it's been compared.

A simple but beautifully crafted beachy floral. Salty, coconutty, refreshing.

It's a lovely, grown-up summer floral. I wish it lasted longer.

Pleasantly surprised by this brand and fragrance in particular! Harks back to vacation evenings doused in Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess, albeit more sparkling and ethereal in its quality, which makes it less cliché. I get coconut and vanilla in the opening, and the sweetness pervades throughout the wear, except the floral-musks embolden in the dry-down with that ‘cool girl’ appeal that feels very relevant and now. A pleasant Summer-leaning fragrance that is current and distinctly wearable. The jasmine is not indolic, it’s light and pretty, tempered by citrus. Nice!
