Sucre

I purchased this perfume when Harry Lehmann`s perfumery still was in family ownership. Back then the perfumery used to still supply Frau Toni`s with many of its creations, Sucre being one of them. After a hiatus the perfumery was reopened by two enthusiastic Berliners who say they tried to recover and carry on most of Lehmann`s original creations, while some had to be reformulated to suit modern needs both in taste and regulations. Now, consequently, Frau Toni`s Sucre used to be virtually identical to Lehmann`s Sucre - as Lehmann was producing the fragrance for Frau Toni`s as well - but as a quick glance at the notes shows, the note listings between Frau Toni and this new listing of Sucre under new ownership differ quite a lot. I`m not sure whether this is because it was changed or whether the new owners just chose to be more exact and forthcoming with the listing of their notes. Anyway, below is my review for the original formulation which I previously posted under Frau Toni`s Sucre as it hadn`t been listed for Harry Lehmann on fragrantica yet at the time. I`d be very curious to learn whether or not the current formulation still comes across the same way: "It is a super soft and feminine non-screachy peach. It's not the fruity hyper-girly peach you'd find in many drugstore fragrances, but a very soft plush one with a very subtle sweetness. To me it's a lovely feminine scent suitable for women of all ages. It fairs best around 10 to 25 degrees Celsius (50 to 77 Fahrenheit), I'd say. A perfect springtime and early summer fragrance. Projection is medium on me. It's definitely there, but not very 'bam' in your face. Longevity if I am not sweating is just about 8-10 hours. It's a very classy soft fruity scent." Anyway, while I haven`t made it to Berlin and the new store (at the old location) yet, it looks absolutely fabulous and I can only absolutely urge people to go and check it out if you have the chance. I just bought a whole lot of small bottles for testing online (sadly not Sucre because I still have my old big bottle and I only saw after ordering that the notes seem to be different now) and they are all absolutely enchanting.
