I can live with a reformulation in general as long as the scent doesn't change much. If a company does delute a fragrance and makes it weaker but reduces the price as well....fine... But please don't change the scent.... I remember Hattric from the 80's because i had it as a deodorant. It was fresh, spicy and had a distinctive character. I currently own the after shave and the scent is very different nowadays and it has nothing in common with the original. It is not even a very good aftershave because it doesn't contain any ingredients which would benefit your skin such as glycerin or allantoin etc. It is lots of alcohol and fragrance and that's it. The scent is ok....a generic and modern scent without any specific signature..... Please Henkel.....you can do a lot better than that

The one being sold today (and what I recognize in the photo here) can't be from 1963 and obviously isn't the same original formula. The current product is a modern, sport-type fragrance that smells like the 1990s or 2000s, just like others have pointed out here. So if you're looking for the classic original, this isn't it. It's not bad, though, if you enjoy the more modern types. I've noticed that several companies have did this, and I wish they wouldn't, since it really misleads people looking for old, familiar products.

No. This is not the original one at the picture. The bottle was different. It was fully reformulated at 90's. Both bottle and scent has changed. Scent became to a generic citrusy-woody "sport"-scent. Original was a nice, very distinctive, slightly dark and resinous, lavander-based chypre-type scent, really masculin beauty. I loved it! Current version nothing to do to the original. Very sad, it's another memorable good-old scent that gone. It's a shame to the industry!
