Delicious Kisses

Yet another melding, morphing and amazing fragrance from HFC! Delicious Kisses opens with a lightly sweet, tangy and effervescent combination punch to your senses. The Raspberry and Violet (two of my favorite notes) are most prominent and play so very well together, here. After about ten minutes, I detect the Papyrus slowly sliding forward, with Iris not far behind. They edge out the tanginess and add a slightly starchy texture. Intoxicatingly creamy Sandalwood then takes center stage, for quite awhile; Iris and Papyrus continue to swirl in the background. Each note is clearly detectable and seems to undulate in and out, yet melding seamlessly together. They waft with movement. Crisp White Musk and Cedar signal the next phase. Chased by flashes of a luxurious, fruity powdery scent. Smoky Patchouli and pretty powder close the show, but encore again and again. DK still clung to that top the next day. There's a high oil content HFC's frags. They'll last on (and can stain) clothing until laundered. Body and ambient temps also affect HFC's fragrances, considerably. They all seem to float in the air around you; have remarkable sillage and carry noticeably on the softest of breezes. All I've tested so far have a certain level of sweetness (can be cloying if oversprayed) that may not appeal to everyone. So, easy on the trigger and enjoy!

NOTES ARE TOTALLY WRONG, these are the right ones: TOP: Moroccan Rose Absolute, Raspberry MIDDLE: Mysore Sandalwood, Papyrus BASE: Leather, Musk, Patchouli so @violeteme your nose is absolutely fine :) This house seems to be a little bit mystery since I tried to find some reliable information about all discontinued perfumes but I barely found any. I tried all their perfumes which are still in production and I chose 8-9 of those into my collection. Anyway I decided to start with discontinued ones first and ordered blindly 8 of them. Now I share my first impressions and edit this later into an in depth review. The opening is an intoxicating combination of Raspberry and Rose but it develops quickly into the middle and the base notes. Leather is the most noticeable note and it's accompanied with a subtle fruity touch until the dry down, gentle Patchouli and other notes which all seem to blend well yet without uniqueness which I was looking for. Even if I'm crazy about the combination of leather and Raspberry I can't think of any particular similar scent but the overall texture and vibe is comparable with Ombré Leather Edp Tom Ford. It's not the same and there is not Raspberry in that one but there is a certain kind of fruity nuance in it, at least to my nose, and it's extremely versatile like Delicious Kisses as well. This blend is sweet, it feels a tad synthetic but it's mostly because of Raspberry since it's so expensive and difficult, almost impossible, note to make naturally. On my skin the blend is utterly simple whereas on my husband's skin it's amazing, much more complex and deep so I think this will be great on my skin when the weather is warm. I don't get any smokiness here and I don't think it's powdery. The scent is absolutely unisex and it's office safe. Thank you for reading, I hope my review was helpful. It's a very lovely fragrance. It was a blind buy for me because I love berry fragrances. When I saw it also has rose, sandalwood and musk, I was sold, lol. I don't regret it at all and will keep the full bottle. It smells really expensive and feminine. It opens up as a powdery raspberry and slowly progresses to soft tender florals. Definitely one of my favorites now (nothing can surpass TF Lost Cherry for me, but this is a beautiful fragrance to have for a change). 5 stars out of 5 from me!

I would have sworn this is a raspberry leather fragrance, but there is no leather note. It still smells like leather to me, maybe it is a poorly made violet.

This house is underrated to be honest. The juice is potent ! Quality... check Longevity... check Sillage..... check My only grouse is that their bottles look cheap and the packaging isn’t giving. Otherwise, this is niche. This lasts all day and more. I’m quite interested in exploring more releases from this house.

This starts cute as a spitting image of Putain De Palaces ELDO (love) and ends like Tuscan Leather Tom Ford (diva vibes). In between these two stages it is very simialr to La Vie Est Belle Elixir. Interesting transition, I'm intrigued.

...what is the deal with the bottle art? That is legit scary.
