Or Noir

Let me start by saying this was love at first sniff. I bought a sample a couple months ago and testing it at night in home or when out with the gal and/or friends. This fragrance has not only been an instant love for me but for everyone else as well. Not one bit of negative feedback so I'll start right there; this is very mass-appealing so long as you control the sprays because from my experience, Or Noir is pretty damn potent. As far as how this smells itself, it is really well-blended to my nose so it's not as easy to pick apart the accords like in other fragrances. That being said, if you smell this off your skin or in the air while glancing at the notes, you'll probably think to yourself "oh yeah, this makes sense, I'm sensing a few of these in the composition." That tells me I'm getting a really nice blend of natural and aromachemical ingredients. Don't misunderstand, I am not saying this is loaded with naturals and concentrated like crazy. I'm saying this is balanced between the two so that it doesn't smell meek or too synthetic while holding up doing what I feel it's meant to do. What is that you might ask? This is a bottle you reach for when you're feeling sexy and want something to enhance that vibe. It doesn't have any booze but I feel a boozy nuance in this which is probably coming from the mixture of elemi, citruses, and woods. The "spicy notes" and cardamom definitely come through. The leather is not overwhelming at all for those with a sensitivity to this which I tested around three of my gal friends who suffer from this. They had no problem catching whiffs of this even up-close. Whatever leather is in this is purely there as a subtle nuance and to help anchor this to the skin along with the musks. Put it all together and it's very attractive without coming off screaming "I'm a try-hard!" When should one wear this? You can wear this whenever you want although I would strongly suggest using this when it's around 68F/20C or under. This next bit is probably the most subjective aside from how much I enjoy this scent but I'd urge the wearer to dress as if they were going out with a woman they were fond of. You don't have to go out with a woman or meet up with some to wear this. I'm saying you should (again, imo) dress up slightly. Nice, dark jeans...boots or something equally nice, NOT SNEAKERS! lol...Simple, dark t-shirt...dark jeans/pants...whatever you feel comfortable with. Bottom line, don't dress like you're just going over to your best friend's house to drink beers and play xbox or some shit! Also, ladies...this is definitely unisex. I can easily see a confident woman spraying this on and reveling in the scent while doing her thing. Okay, I think that's about it and I hope this helps even a little. Salud!

Well hello my new Signature scent. Green leafy opening blast off soap.. pines..elemi and orange peel, then after only seconds it all comes down, vanishes.. whats left is one off the smoothest spicy cardamom tobacco perfumes you could imagen, like a silky warm aura with hints off pear, the sensuell warm scent spreads and radiates from your skin Its not a lie to say it reminds you off spicebomb, but this...this is in a Leauge off its own, dont get me wrong i love spice bomb and i would say together w Dior homme intens its the pinacle off designer perfumes But this goes beyond, it ads layers off depth and has a whole different base, it gives a fresh feeling just like initios rehab, but still keeps the spicy warm tobacco magic from spice bomb. Its a 10/10 Perfume, its hard to get a hold off, and you could just settle for spice bomb, but its by no means redundant iff you like the dna and dont like to settle for less then perfection.

Really loving this brand and everything I have bought from them so far! This is a spicy cardamom goodness-bomb! To me, it's definitely unisex, but some ladies might find it too masculine. I think the name Or Noir suits it; it's sexy and has a sultry vibe to it. I marked that it's mostly a winter and fall scent, but I honestly think it could be worn on cooler spring days and maybe a summer night. I'll have to experiment with it. On my skin, I find it very long lasting and potent, but everyone is different. Definitely sample if you love cardamom!

Great work of parfumery. Nice balance between freshness, spiciness and sweetness, which elegant with sophisticated hint of dustiness in it. Longevity is great, sillage is good and playful. This fragrance is universal in wearing. You can go with it anyway, anytime and anyseason, except high heat. For my perspective this scent conveys the atmosphere of noir evening and in the middle of the night your feeling of strong melancholy captivate you. Very unique piece of art, blend to perfection

Marvelous. Smelled this for the first time a few years ago at a niche perfume store in Vilnius. Have been thinking about this one on and off since then, and finally got a bottle last year. It's an aromatic, woodsy fragrance with a touch of sweetness from the orange. It's a bit muted, which I like. I don't get the resemblence to Spicebomb at all, but on the other hand, it's been years since I sold my bottle of that.
