Santal Soundtrack

Upon spritzing the fragrance, I was immediately welcomed by a creamy sandalwood scent, enriched with a subtle hint of musk. If you’ve ever experienced Elish No. 2, you’ll notice a strong similarity in that initial blast. This opening aroma is vibrant and holds strong for about 3-5 minutes. After this initial phase, a delightful suede leather note makes its entrance. It’s fascinating how they’ve managed to capture the essence of soft suede; it’s almost as if you can feel its texture through the scent. Around the 10-minute mark, a mild sweetness also begins to weave its way into the composition. In terms of performance, Santal Soundtrack projects well for the first 10 minutes before settling closer to the skin. This is expected for a parfum concentration, as they typically don’t excel in projection. On my clothes, the scent persisted for over 8 hours, offering a gentle and soft aroma throughout the day. However, on my skin, the fragrance completely vanished after just 2 hours, so I’d recommend applying it to your clothing for the best longevity. Overall, I’m quite satisfied with Santal Soundtrack. It strikes a balance between Elish No. 2 and Santal 33, making it an appealing choice for fans of those fragrances. However, if you find Santal 33’s potentially pickle-like aroma unappealing, this one might not be for you.

Powdery, fruity & a touch of florals. It smells great I could see a guy getting away with it but honestly it leans towards the ladies direction. It's a winner for sure because it smells great. It's also giving me old school vibes but I can't pin point why. Update: This scent dries down completely for the ladies. It's def a fem leaning fragrance.

Though new new to fragrances, I've developed a morbid fascination with trying a spritz of one of the fragrance tester bottles in the men's grooming section of my local Target when I pass by. So far, this is the least noxious one I've tried. It's not amazing, and another reviewer isn't wrong in calling it boring. But it's not bad, and didn't make me gag like some of the ones from Target's house brand in the imitation Tom Ford style bottles.

Very boring fragrance. It is a creamy sandalwood scent that is relatively clean, but it lasts like two seconds in my skin. I would not waste your money on this; maybe it lasts longer on clothing, idk. Instead, get the Studded Smoke fragrance from the same collection. Smells very similar to Billie Eilish No. 2 but with more black pepper.

This is a review for Santal Soundtrack 2, which isn't listed on Fragrantica yet. Listed notes: Santal Super, Smoked Iris, White Suede, and Cashmere Musk As far as I can tell, this is not a clone of Santal 33. I have no idea what Santal Soundtrack 2 is supposed to be a clone of, but I have to admit it smells pretty amazing. The sandalwood has the slightest tinge of that infamous Santal 33 pickle note, but that quickly subsides into a warm, powdery, smoky, and slightly dusty scent aura. Individual notes don't really stand out much for me except for the iris being both smoky and powdery. Only problem is I think this is loaded with Iso E Super because I go noseblind to it pretty quickly. The first time I wore it I could hardly smell anything at all. I've let it mature for a month or so and its seemed to improve slightly. Definitely worth the $25.

I don’t know why this has a 3.2 rating. smells super good but generic, and for $25 you really can’t go wrong with it. I’m not sure why but this reminds me of being a kid again and i love the suede note in this. haven’t really paid attention to its performance but i know this won’t last more the 7 hours. This fragrance deserves more than a 3.2 rating, imo 7.4/10
