New Oud

Truly a beautiful oud! Long lasting, close wearing and haunting. Love it!

The tuberose and/or orange blossom and Oud thing has been done a few times now (Bortinikoff Sir Winston, Kilian Love 2023 Amber Oud) so this profile wasn’t new when I smelled it and, to be fair, Cecile’s New Oud might predate the ones I’m more familiar with! This is a bit different in that it blends the white florals and Oud with patchouli and other green notes. You end up with a minty floral Oud to open but it settles with patchouli and Oud. Longevity is not great around 6 hours with less than an hour of projection. A 7.5/10. It’s a surprisingly unique composition for a small niche house.

beautiful idea of the oud with tuberose and green ... but the result is a sticky, caramel, cloying mess. haunted the whole room with his power! the dry down improves over the dramatic opening revealing a nice earthy patchouli, a green smell of crushed leaves. a dirty vetiver a bitterness which, however, still does not surpass that oudish sweetness that I think should be in the background. amazing performances. changing scent, it goes from an annoying oud to a sweet chewing gum-caramel-like annoying with pleasant green notes. it never stabilizes. 6.5 / 10 for the experiment.

Nice fragrance but such Name would be already extremely pretentious even if the fragrance would get the goal. But they don't. No New Oud. If you are a singer you can not declare about yourself to be the new Whitney Huston having just a nice voice. This remind me M7 by YSL, especially the drydown, which was the first perfume built around oud in occident as everybody know. So, "new"? Please. Quite classic oud based scent I say. Of course this is a nice fragrance, even if the first 40 minuts seems to be unstable, came out this sort of raw leather side, with notes of trementine, wet earth, furniture store, shoe repair shop, grease, white petrol, tipical of oud you may say. But is to harsh to my taste. Step by step become more M7 sweted by the cherry/banana note of tuberose. Nice Oud.

Hi all of you. Surprise it' s the word for this Discret designers Hayari Paris, who give tu us a wonderfull fragrance called New oud. Bergamot at the top not invasive , then a little note of oud was detected for a short time, difficult to say if it's chemical or natural. The great work here was a combination in the heart of the Tubereuse giving a velvety powdery touch The base is sublimate by a wonderful accord animal of castoreum (maybe civette) myyrh incense labdanum juniper berries and his leathery facet, and of course Patchouli, giving a hot baumed touch. Similar to Amir by laura Tonatto, although new oud is more hot, appropriate for the fall. The sillage was kept on my skin roughly 3-4 hours.

The opening was balsamic and somewhat herbaceous and Earthy, there was a floral note (tuberose) that made it ever-so seductive; on my skin this lasted for approximately 3 hours. Now, the oud has appeared alongside a sharp Amber(?) and vanilla combination that has created a distinct warmth that is reminiscent of a log fire blazing in a cabin. The balsamic nature still remains but it is overshadowed by the oud. This was a truly enjoyable and alternative olfactory experience that has displayed the versatility of oud!

بسیار بسیار جالب و متفاوت. ترکیب قوی عود و گل مریم با دوز بسیار بالا. عطری سنگین و عمیق. گل مریم عود را کنترل و به سمت تمایلات زنانه میکشاند. یونیسکس است ولی در شروع کار بیشتر مردانه و در بطن کار بیشتر زنانه می شود. سبک من نیست ولی بسیار قابل احترام است. دوام و پخش هیولاوار است و تا 2 روز مهمانتان میماند. ----------- Scent & Qualiy: 8/10 Longevity: 10/10 Sillage: 9/10 Creativity & Uniqueness: 9/10 Affordability: 3/10 ----------- Overall: 7.8/10

I really like it. I smelled it initially on a men but me as a woman enjoy a lot on myself. To my nose is very sweet, seductive, had some Oud, i get mainly the saffron and maybe the orange blossom. It's interesting that I mainly get a sweetness from it. Reminds me a lot of Jesus del Pozo's Arabian Nights for women.toy nose it has the same sweetness given by the date notes Definitely a date scent.

Just purchased and received this one. Not sure how I feel on this one yet. I know everyone seem to be so fascinated by the tuberose and oud combo being so unique and different but to be honest, I’m not getting much for oud with this one.....it’s quite pleasant but I’m getting a MUCH heavier blast of the tuberose and very minimal Oud...perspective is everything I suppose...
