Myrrhe Headspace

This one, for some reason, evokes a sort of fantasy. The type of fantasy you get after a slight spell of dizziness, or after a polite bow of your head. It is the fantasy that angels get before they rise. It is rituals, prayer, it is holy. Yet, it is also individual. Every angel to rise has done it their own way, and they all seem to deny it. And you will then imagine, and after, you will begin to notice. You will notice the silver linings that are theoretically impossible. This, in its essence, feels like being that. It feels like being that impossibility, it is the calm you exude while you let them stare. They will stare, yes. Such a silver lining is rare, and the moment you possess it, the attention will be on you. Angels who have risen in this manner can be told apart. Their eyes hold silver, and stars, and a sleepless sunkenness. Their skin is unnaturally white, or it is a rare shade of tan or brown. A shade incomparable to any human. Their hair frames their face, and it has usually darkened over their years of escaping normalcy. And they are always ice cold. That cold is part of them, and it always will be. And this separation, this tranquility, this transparency, is their path. It has been so for years. And it is amongst us, if you look closer. It might even be that young person next to you in the park. Yes, the one with the iced sugar-free cola in their hand. Or, it might be the winding smoke of their high-end cigarettes. Or, they might not be next to you at all. Why, you ask? Because, in this case, you will always be them. Because, you simply are them, angel. (TL;DR: this perfume is reminiscent as F to my take on the 2010s' "angel" metaphor. and, yes, you will know what i mean. that is, if you know where it came from.)

#1798 in my “Tour de Fragrance” Got this decant from scentsplit.com. My first “Headspace.” Smells almost identical to "Patchouli Canelle” by La Closerie des Parfums, close to Ramon Monegal “Cuirelle”, but sadly they will cost just as much. It’s got a sweet incense vibe. I’d say if you’re a fan of PDM’s “Herod”, Xerjoff “Luxor”,this will take you to your happy place. Performance is moderate but adequate. You can wear this anywhere anytime. I just enjoy sniffing it. And yes “Olenchyk”, myrrh can give off a coca cola vibe if you put it together with cinnamon. I have SO many scents that combine myrrh and cinnamon. Search on the perfume finder just using myrrh and cinnamon and you will be shocked at how often that combination shows up in popular scents. Things do go better with Coca-Cola! Good Luck and Good Hunting!

For those who do not wear the typical beachy/tropical scents, I would say this could be an option. A beautiful mineralic myrrh that is heady in a non-confronting way. Aldehydic and sharp, there's cleanliness to this resinous perfume that feels like an ironic juxtaposition. Truly unisex, there is something comforting in the stillness of this perfume. I believe the perfumer executed their vision for this perfume very well. It's steady, like a rock formation on the beach, and despite the constantly-crashing waves, the rock formation (and this perfume) remains.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but myrrhe sometimes gives off a bit of Coca Cola to my nose, and this perfume is Coca Cola with cinnamon on top, in a good way :) Brings a smile to my face, love it Generally this house is underrated. I am now re-sampling the entire collection and I love it all. I have full bottle of Tuberose and am pondering a bottle of Rose as well. A few more are a love but lean a bit masculine. Beautiful scent that reminds me of vanilla and churches. It has a mysterious and dark quality to it despite being a sweet ambery fragrance. Mysterious, captivating, and seductive. I did not expect this at all.
