Tubereuse Headspace

I don't usually gravitate towards white florals, but this is a fantastic fragrance that I would love to own a full bottle of. I admit that I haven't tried that many tuberose scents but those that I have are usually either too sweet or too powdery, and then there's... whatever Aldebaran is. But this thing does something a bit different. The notes here are pretty accurate, but this is surprisingly fresh, realistically plant like and light on its feet, it's transparent and almost watercolored, and it's definitely not just a white floral. The tobacco is the first thing to make an entrance but it doesn't beat you over the head, it's fine, unsmoked and hay like, as it fades into the background, it gives way to the tuberose and the black currant, creating a tart, vegetal, floral accord. There's definitely some vanilla in the base but it never overshadows any of the other components or overstays its welcome, it's mostly there to add fluff and to extend the longevity. And yeah, despite its lightness, this does in fact last and project quite well. I hope this gets the love it deserves.

I love tuberose, but tobacco is a hit and miss for me (mostly miss with some notable exceptions), so I was slightly anxious about this combo. I also have loads of tuberose fragrances that I love and which are a high bar in my view. I decided to compare this one in simultaneous wear with some of my favs among the non-indolic green'ish tuberoses - Tagete and Tuberosa by Profumum Roma, Joyeuse Tuberose by Guerlain, French Flower by Matier Premier Headspace beats both the Guerlain and Matier Premier for me, and it's a serious challenger for Profumum collection The drydown is simply magic I am in love with this one after multiple wears and I ordered a full bottle because it's worth. you can't miss it if you are a tuberose lover, it really is worth the hype

Wow, simply wow. This is a fantastic tuberose fragrance—very floral, very tobacco-like, very masculine. If a guy wants something outside the realm of modern fresh scents or sugary concoctions with a touch of vetiver and tons of tonka bean, this is it. It’s a masculine take on a flower that might seem very feminine. Here, it’s simply different than usual. And although I personally have no hesitation in wearing any tuberose fragrance, I know that this scent could work well for men in the Ultra Male style.

An extremely authentic tuberose opening green quite vegetal anchored by a balanced dose of tobacco. Please don’t think Amouage Portrayal Woman that was way too intense tobacco. This is delicate tobacco behind a wild and vegetal tuberose. A must sample. Will test for a few more times to decide if its full bottle worthy for now it’s a love but I’m a little biased to authentic smelling tuberose.

This is completely sexy. Tuberose mixed with fresh cigarettes. I love a smokey note juxtaposed with something super feminine - like Byredo's Black Saffron or Tom Ford's White Suede; this is in the same category. To my nose it leans a bit feminine, but it could work as unisex. The tobacco comes out more in the drydown. I see this on an edgy, sexy bad girl. Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman.

To me this smells like tuberose, tobacco and galbanum; sure I could see the immediate comparison to Carnal Flower, but this is so much more GREEN! It smells more like you wore Carnal Flower, and sat in the grass all night smoking with your friends. Airier, fluffier, but still with that same sort of heavy vageuly cigarette-esque feel/intensity.

I’m not a tuberose fan, but I want to be. I don’t like the bubble gum dry down...... but this one here smells just like none of the other tuberose fragrances out there this one is a spicy tuberose no bubble gum just the beautiful flower with the spicy tobacco that isn’t the traditional Tom Ford Tv.

Amazing fragrance! So versatile and lasting, you can wear it anywhere. In my opinion the best from Headspace. @bernadetta has the best description of it : "Albert Camus smoking a cigarette and giving that sexy philosophical look to the camera". About as accurate as it gets.

best tuberose based fragrance i have tried... the tobacco is so well blended

This is nice. I'm immediately reminded of Jasmine et Cigarette, and honestly I can't believe people are downvoting that. This is prettier and doesn't turn as ashy, but it's still white florals against a backdrop of dry, unlit tobacco. This is what that would be if ELDO used better ingredients and didn't allow a lot of their fresh scents to become flat and synthetic feeling. I don't have a big nose for tuberose, but this feels leaner and more plasticky than others I've tried. It's fresher and perhaps a little more in the bitter-soapy direction, while being less chewy and sweet. I feel like the black currant note is actually a big player here. I thought it vanished rather quickly at first, but putting this on my wrist on day 2 has me noticing more of a tart berry-like sweetness throughout it's lifespan. I've also read elsewhere that there's a galbanum note here, although it's not listed officially. Regardless, there's definitely some slightly sour green aroma that lends a sharp, natural freshness in the opening. Very pretty. I also get mild indolic, skanky aspects that come with the territory of tuberose, and it blends really well with the black currant and tobacco. Just like Jasmine et Cigarette it feels wrong but also right and kind of edgy. It gets softer and sweeter as time goes on, but the tobacco remains clear, and the whole thing feels a little cold. It almost feels like a mentholated cigarette actually, with slightly minty, white florals hovering above an earthy tobacco base. But there's a soapy, fruity shimmer to it at the same time which feels a bit more youthful. Coming back a few more times it can feel a little urinous (I think the black current can contribute to that) but that's a part of the charm. To me it's sexy- I'd love it on a woman, but part of me wants it for myself as well, even though I haven't traditionally felt tuberose suits me.

Tubereuse by Headspace transports me to the world of a fiction set during the Texas Oil Boom. A rich tobacco note opens the narrative with its aura of ambition and determination. Complemented by vanilla and woody undertones, it lead to a warm and comforting atmosphere, reminiscent of enjoying a cigar with bourbon under the full moon. In the heart of the fragrance, tuberose, mastic, and black currant evoke the passion and intensity of hard work and desire.

Something in between ELDO Jasmin et Cigarette and Naomi Goodsir Nuit de Bakélite. Beautifully green and tobacco-tinged, pleasant both to smell and to wear.

Headspace "Tubereuse" is an alright perfume. However, I wouldn't necessarily categorize this fragrance as a tuberose-forward fragrance. On my skin, I detect a heavy tobacco accord from beginning-to-end and loads of green galbanum. Tuberose does poke through the opening notes but it is a very gentle, tuberose flower (versus the entire plant). My husband thinks this perfume screams "green." And the longer I wear it, I agree. Fortunately for me, I do not detect tuberose stems, leaves, sap, or dirt. On skin, I note loads of green tobacco leaf, a wee-bit of white florals, mastic, vanilla, amber and GALBANUM. There's lots 'n lots 'n lots of galbanum. The mastic lends a resinous quality to the dry-down. And the amber & vanilla are nicely blended. As an aside, the galbanum is initially (to my nose) akin to cardamom. However, cardamom leans spicy and savory, whereas the galbanum in this perfume turns greener and more vegetal over time. About 30-45 minutes in, the galbanum feels unbearable to me. And thankfully, despite having black currant as a perfume note, I get zero fruitiness, zero plumpness with this fragrance. Longevity is at 6+ hours. Silage is low. So, after wearing this regularly for weeks, I've decided the fragrance is not for me. Unfortunately, on my skin the tuberose is not detectable and is overtaken (along with the tobacco notes) by intense galbanum, start to finish.

I’ve recently gotten into tuberose and I really do like this one. The opening note def had a cigarette with floral perfume vibes but that quickly went away into a softer sweet tobacco note. This is not an overly sweet tuberose. Nice simple classy yet unique scent.

Headspace Tuberose starts out promising. The tuberose explodes in a glorious display, heady and intoxicating, just as I crave. But then, a twist emerges – a peppery tobacco note. It's intriguing at first, adding a touch of unexpected warmth. Unfortunately, the peppery tobacco's reign is short-lived. It fades quickly, leaving the stage to the sole performer – the tuberose. While the tuberose itself is stunning, the departure of the spicy intrigue left me wanting more. In the final act, the fragrance settles into a familiar floral territory. It's a lovely floral, no doubt, but it loses the edge that initially captivated me. If you're a die-hard tuberose fan and prefer a more classic floral experience, then Headspace Tuberose might be your dream fragrance.

Visited Scent Bar today and sniffed about 10 green/fig/tea frags. Tuberereuse was a stand out. A pretty white floral with the tobacco lending just the right amount of naughty edge. Gorgeously blended. I kept coming back to it on the paper again and again. Took a sample and immediately applied it to my skin. It is for sure a delicate and intoxicating skin scent. I wish it had a bit more longevity...gone in about 3 hours on me.

Mostly just tuberose on me. I never did get any tobacco, cedar or vanilla. Lasted hours, and the sillage is good, but I'm looking for an exceptional tuberose, or at least a different one that doesn't remind me of all the others.

This fragrance is Albert Camus. You know that picture of him smoking a cigarette and giving that sexy philosophical look to the camera? This fragrance is.... a thick cigarette smoke.... and a bouquet of Tuberose flowers...

This is mainly a tobacco scent with tuberose facets, than the other way around. To my nose it is very masculine. There's an herbal green situation happening on the dry down. It's not really for me but I don't dislike it.
