Desert Love

Reminds me so much of Fleur du Desert, notes are very similar. Becomes very long lasting after about a 2 week maturation, lasts all day with moderate, arm’s length projection. The honey note here is perfectly done! An inexpensive compliment getter for me; I bought a back up bottle immediately due to the comments it drew. I wear it often layered over Nemat Amber Musk which amps up the musk and slight skin scent powderiness of the violet and muguet. The rose is not too prominent, neither is the honey—a perfect balance. It’s a love for me! Also, I don’t think the notes here are quite right. The brand’s description of this perfume mentions Oud Assam and I definitely think it’s included here, although with a very light hand—and why it reminds me of the LV I mentioned. I’ve waited some weeks to review this one because it was getting stronger every day. It’s definitely a gourmand with all the notes listed being very perceptible and the honey is always there, so you definitely have to like honey fragrances to like this one. I really like it! It’s a bit different from all my other gourmands because you can smell the flowers too. I’ve got quite a few scents from this house and love all of them so far! 💛💛
