GIGGLEPUFF

I read the reviews here and was inspired to write my first, as I don't think anyone has captured this acurately to my nose yet. I never thought I'd fall for a lemon fragrance, but Gigglepuff changed my mind completely. The opening is a revelation: a fancy, sunlit Italian lemon that feels luxurious and joyful and absolutely nothing like a cleaning product. It’s bright, elegant, and classy. If you don't like lemon, and don't mind waiting a moment, of course it disappears. I wouldn't avoid this if you are avoiding lemon, but love vanilla caramel gourmands. Then comes the dry down, and it’s magic. A warm, indulgent caramel-vanilla gourmand that feels like being wrapped in a soft, golden cloud. It’s sweet without being cloying, comforting without being dull. The entire evolution from citrus sparkle to edible warmth is truly beautiful - a real journey, and I think the interesting lemon is what makes it feel so nonlinear and fun. To me, the white florals listed don't stand out particularly or individually, but I do get a more complex and interesting yet smooth vanilla. What surprises me most is the projection. I often feel like it wears close to the skin after a few hours, but I consistently get compliments from people behind counters (people not even standing next to me), so clearly, it's doing more work than I think. There's power here. Gigglepuff pushed my perfume journey forward. It made me reconsider entire categories of scent with lemon I thought I disliked, and reminded me why I love fragrance as an experience. It's fun, beautiful, and unexpectedly transformative. I haven't smelled the original Hufflepuff, so I can't comment on the similarities, but I will say I don't feel the need to try it now. This itch is thoroughly and happily scratched. Especially considering she-who-must-not-be-named could get a financial kickback that I'm not interested in giving her (I'm not sure if she benefits from the House of Sillage Hufflepuff, but it seems officially licensed). Gosh, Gigglepuff is also political. What a bombshell she is! FYI - I ordered my bottle from the brand directly, as I couldn't find it here in the UK (I think it was sold out at the time), and it took maybe 2-3 weeks to arrive, and didn't get stuck in customs. So if it's sold out where you are and they ship to you, you could consider that (also they have some interesting and cheap fragrance oils for gourmand lovers). edit to say: this was great out of the bottle, even better a week, and after a few months, it's amazing. I can now detect the peach, though its beautifully blended into the very smooth composition, it definitely elevates the whole thing.

I have so many perfumes, but I've only had this one for a short period, and it already has a serious dent in it. I like it so much that I went back and purchased Hallopuff, which is the complimentary attar that goes with it. I will admit that the opening notes are not pure love, because the coconut note comes across as awkward. I've noticed that many ME fragrances substitute coconut milk for traditional dairy-based lactonic notes that are often used in Western perfumery. However, the current coconut aldehyde used to replicate coconut is very waxy/fatty, which can communicate a glue note rather than the lush, hydrating coconut note typically associated with it. Those opening notes only last for about 15-20 minutes, and it's not bad, just not as great as it could be. Once the opening notes have dissipated, it becomes this rich buttery lemon cookie fragrance. I also own Devotion by D&G. Devotion is a different take on the lemon gourmand. It's a lemon streusel made with full-cream pana cotta and candied bits of lemon zest in a lemon-basil jam. In contrast, Gigglepuff is a full-fat buttery lemon shortbread cookie that coats the tongue with buttery velvety softness with a slight tart bite of lemon citrus. I've been wearing it a great deal. Bonus Play: At times, I layer it over Hermes Caleche EDT, and the backdrop becomes the perfect magical holiday backdrop to the season, reminiscent of bright lights, sweet treats, and that soul warmth that comes from cozy times with loved ones and hopeful expectations for the new year to come.

This smells so good! I cannot get over how lovely this is. I honestly had a few blind buys that I thought would be better than this. Now I see why this was talked about so much. It really is that good, I also got the attar to go with it. This opens with citrus it's not super strong nor do I get much coconut. Maybe it's coconut cream either way it's divine. The floral in this smells so good with all the vanilla. The best part of this is the dry down for me. The vanilla bean, musk, and caramel omgosh they smell so good. This is one of those scents where I keep smelling my wrist. This lasts a long time about 6 plus hours if not longer. Also stays a long time on my clothes. Sillage is moderate but that's fine with me. This is an amazing fragrance that I'm so happy with. I have majorly hyped scents but they don't compare to this. I think I could wear this year round. And I will I love it so much. This was the scent I got where I thought I'd like it but wouldn't love it. No this I adore and highly recommend. Best blind buy in a long time. Also great price for how good it is.

It smells sooooooooooo good. It's just a sweet and creamy gourmand, not cloying, a little citrusy but in a candied way, not a sour or sharp citrus. It's like a citrusy butterbeer fragrance. I get the similarities to Pink Blush (and probably YBM as well), but without the strawberries, so if you have that, you will probably love this. It's a layering fragrance, so you will want to pair it with something that has similar notes or that can go together to form a hybrid. I love layering it with Black Opium LP and Crumb Couture for a yummy cozy sitting in a coffee shop while eating a blueberry jam slathered croissant hehe, you get the picture. Definitely grab this, it's REALLY good! You can wear any time of year day or night since it's a lighter, layering fragrance to enhance your gourmands or add a gourmand spin to other fragrance categories.

This is everything I hoped it would be 🥰 🍑 🥥🍋🧁🌞 Absolutely gorgeous creamy, sweet peach and coconutty scent with some freshness from the lemon and delicious sweetness from the vanilla and caramel. It immediately feels like summer - the perfect scent for balmy summer date nights. The perfect summer vacation scent 🏖 summer nostalgia 😍 It doesn't go full tropical - which I love. The peach is stunning in this and the first time I've actually experienced peach shining in a perfume throughout the dry down 🍑 ✨️ An immediate yes for me and a full bottle will definitely be in my future for the warmer weather. I do think its wearable all year round regardless - it's just that it conjurs up warm, sandy summer days - fresh fruit, creamy coconut lotions and sweet treats after a long hot day and I bet the heat will magnify its projection 🌞 Adore 🥰

This, this, this! I fell in love with this from the minute I got it. Now I have 2 bottles (had to get a backup) and the first bottle is almost 3 months old. It has bloomed from really nice to so yummy I can't stand it. I have not smelled the OG because I can't afford to get my nose near enough to a bottle. This one assures me that I am not missing anything. This is sweet but not cloying. I didn't understand where the juicyness was coming from at first, then I saw that peach note. Yep, that's it. And unlike my other gourmand scents, this one dries down very nicely without changing too much. I wear this with the Hallopuff oil now and... Child! It's just an amazing scent. (@Ddskyblue - Yasss! I think we were the first rooting so hard to get this one on here! )

I don’t know what Hufflepuff smells like...and honestly, I don't care to find out. Gigglepuff has completely stolen the show. It’s a dreamy, creamy cloud of citrus and coconut, with soft florals gently humming in the background. The gourmand notes take center stage: fluffy, sweet, and utterly delectable without being overdone. I’ve been enjoying a 5ml sample, and let me tell you I’m so ready for the full size. It was love at first spray and has stayed consistently beautiful every time I’ve worn it. Sillage sits at about arm’s length, and I get a solid 5–6 hours of wear, honestly impressive for the price point. Gigglepuff is playful, cozy, and just sparkly enough to feel magical. A total win in my book.

Compliment magnet somehow?! Worth at last getting a sample.. I was not expecting the mass demographic appeal compliments - 95 year old grampa, my 66 mother stole a decant, younger 35 year old brother, little nephew 4, friends 40s , coworkers 30s.... This is a warm, sugared baked good but still a wearable perfume. Some gourmands are a little thick but this pings around light vanillas lemon, warmth, large sugar crystals, smooth coconut, gentle stone fruits. This is a unique scent style that is pretty great. No issues with longevity or projection. Cold weather slows molecules so maybe people are just getting hit with science. I live in the south so unaffected so far 🥳

Ok I own almost everything this gets compared to, so here is my take: Gigglepuff is a super light and sweet lemon marshmallow scent. It’s fluffy and airy, not syrupy or deep like Devotion. It smells like Mochi Milk with lemon instead of peach. Nothing like Soft by Al Rehab which I found to be awful (lemon cleaning products mixed with Pink Sugar). Doesn’t smell like YBM at all, but I suppose the vibe they give off is similar. It’s cousins with Empire Victor, but EV is less sweet, less lemony, and more just a creamy vanilla with a hint of lemon. Gigglepuff is perfect for a playful spring/summer day! Easy reach, non offensive. A happy, bright pick-me-up in a bottle!

If you’re deciding between this and Empire Victor just know they smell completely different to me. Same category kinda but not similar at all. To my nose this smells like Yum Boujee Marshmallow by Kayali just without the strawberry note. Gigglepuff is giving orange creamsicle with a lot of marshmallow. It’s smells like the carnival to me. It’s so good I already have a backup bottle on the way lol. It is a lighter fragrance but that doesn’t mean it’s weak. I can still smell it on me hours later and I’ve gotten compliments way after spraying. For the price you really can’t beat the quality.

It’s been a while since I was absolutely blown away by a perfume! This one reminds me so much of Cirque du Soleil (my beloved) minus the butteriness and the sandalwood. I’ve actually found myself reaching for Gigglepuff far more often than any other perfume recently, which is awesome because the price cannot be beat. Layers beautifully with Cirque and also with Boardwalk Delight. If you’re on the fence about this one, just go for it! It’s spectacular!

This is gorgeous and an easy reach. I’ve had a decant of this in my collection for a while and for some reason haven’t reached for it. Tonight I fancied something different so decided to have a little spray before bed and I fell a little bit in love. It’s a lovely sweet fragrance suitable for any occasion. The price makes it even more attractive I can see me reaching for this regularly and upgrading to a full bottle.

This is something I wouldn't have blind bought based on the notes as I dont tend to go for citrus or gourmand scents, but after receiving a sample from a friend I immediately bought a bottle. This is reallyyyy good!! A gorgeous blend of vanilla, caramel, citrus and peach. Its such an uplifting feelgood scent which is lovely for summer.

I fell in love this Gigglepuff at first sniff. In fact I immediately ordered a backup the day I received it. It’s a rich buttery fragrance. It has moderate longevity and sillage. To help the perfume project more, I use Plus One by Oakcha. It’s a fragrance enhancer that contains Ambroxan. Great blind buy

Beautiful light gourmand. The lemon is not in your face (it was a blind buy, when I read the notes I thought the lemon would be super present). It’s somewhere in the background behind vanilla. The perfume is sweet, and not sweete and sour. Love it, cannot see myself paying 350 eur for the OG Hufflepuff

Finally it got listed here! This is THE BEST 😍 I overspray because I’m crazy about this fragrance and every time I wear it I’m complimented by every single person I see lol It’s sweet lemony/coconut/vanilla but blended to perfection. Oh and it lasts days on clothes.

This scent is one of my favourites. The vanilla and Italian lemon is just so good! However, it lasts about as long as a fart in a tornado. I’ve had it on right now for about 45 mins and it’s just to say there, even on clothes. Which makes me very sad.

This is literally the perfume of my dreams. It's soooo good!!! I wear it on it's own or layer it with Genzee Marshmallow & Latte Abyad from the same brand for my signature scent. It's gorgeous! Not screechy to my nose at all and well blended. 10/10

This is delicious! For me it opens with coconut caramel and peach skin, a floats in to a Yum bougie type marshmallow fragrance! This lasts on my skin and projects but I moisturize before I apply fragrance. Its a steal on tiktok shop.

@Ddskyblue - Yasss! I think we were the first rooting so hard to get this one on here! I loved it until I found Empire and... I am not only cheating with Empire, I have completely left the relationship and married Empire! 😂

I bought it again 2 months after my first bottle and can hardly smell it so think they made it a lot weaker. And sucks big time and if it stays this way i will never buy from this brand ever again. Sick of this nonsense.

Oh my God I just got this and it is so delicious and fun! You don't have to be young to wear this- old ladies can have fun too! My new fun fave!

Man this stuff is good and had the Genre version also and this is just as good and for the price a real steal.

This is a lovely, soft creamy distant cousin to empire victor and cirque and the others listed above for me. I've not smelt Hufflepuff, as I can't get it here in Australia at the moment. I am hoping however, like some reviewers have said below, that with some time to mature, Giggle will intensify some more and improve its longevity. It dries down to a skin scent on me at around the 20min mark. Thats a little dissapointing. I shall be back with the verdict in a few weeks.

This is quite nice but Khadlaj Empire Victor is the softer and fluffier and less obnoxious sister. Not that this perfume is obnoxious but I have both on my wrist right now and while they have a lot of similarities, Empire Victor is just cozier and fluffier. I asked my son (22) to choose which wrist and he liked Empire more. If you like something louder, then Gigglepuff is your choice. If you like soft and fluffy then Empire Victor.

I ordered it a few days ago and it smells like the 90s Vanilla Fields. It has a bright opening and seductive aura. Im excited the comments convinced me to do a safe blind buy with this one.

I love Hufflepuff but WHY did they add caramel to this one?!?!? It destroys so much for me... It’s still a nice VERY gourmand scent but the OG is magical! I just can’t justify the price.

To me, this has Kayali dna? It reminds me of Yum Bougie Marshmallow, but more peach and less citrus. Since I like YBM that's a win for me!

This reminds me so much of Soft by Al Rehab but Gigglepuff is a little sweeter and perhaps vanilla-leaning whereas Soft stays more lemony. I like Soft better & it’s even less expensive so I’ll stick with Soft. No need for a GP full bottle, but I’m glad I got my nose on this sample at last. Edited: today the caramel has gone a different direction and is reminding me of Cirque du Soleil. I definitely see why other people liking it to pink sugar also. I put cirque on next to it and yeah, they’re definitely cousins, but it’s not a dupe of course. These notes are all for my own future reference, I noticed I’ve already been voted down lol. I’m kind of baffled at my previous remark comparing it to Soft, because today it definitely doesn’t remind me of that. Maybe full bottle? On the fence.

I'm definitely in minority here but this perfume to me smelled like pizza or spicy tomatoes. For the first 2 seconds i could smell the baked lemon pie smell, then it was gone, and my nose was only picking up something acidic and gourmand, but more like tomatoes than anything else. Very weird. I kept it at first and tried to give it a chance, but after a while I just gave up and I gave it away. It is possible it would have changed after longer maturation but I was just too disappointed.

I think I had my expectations a little too high and that’s why I was disappointed when smelling this, but it’s not bad. It’s just nothing special imo. Empire Victor is a lot sweeter more cake like and Lattafa Victoria smells like lemon meringue pie. Since I have those too and prefer them more, I sent Gigglepuff back.

Ive never smelled the OG so I'm only able to review this on its own, and what I have to say is that it's just ok. Nothing foul smelling about it to make me want to scrub my arms but also nothing too striking for me to want a full bottle. It smells like a buttery lemon bread, but very faint on my skin.

i’m so confused... why do I smell nothing? I get a hint of what dedcool mochi milk smells like... hm

Entiendo el hype en este perfume a quien le gustan los gourmands. Lastimosamente no cuadra con mi perfil olfativo y pensé que por sus notas me encantaría! Es un perfume cremoso avainillado con un ligero coco y muy azucarado con el caramelo. A ras de piel notas el chispeante cítrico. Personalmente no pensé que fuera a ser tan cremoso y dulce y por eso al final no he podido, acaba dándome náuseas y acaba dejándome un olor como a plástico. Seguramente si lo huelo en alguien un momento me gustaría y no tendría problema. Para aquellas personas que os gusta el dulce adelante!

I was convinced that I would love this based off notes and reviews, but it's really cheap-smelling. Very weak, and smells thin, if you know what I mean. It has a very artificial peach dry down. Also, I sprayed it 15 minutes ago and it's almost totally gone from my hand. Horribly disappointed, and so glad I only bought a tester.

When i first got it i loved it. But now im more of a perfume expert i want to get rid of it asap. For some reason it smells like plastic, which i didnt pick up before. Not sure whether my scent knowledge has developemnt or it has macerated that way (after 2 months). It did smell like marshmellow but now plastic.

This is a creamy scent, a skin- scent. Does not project. Sweet, coconut-vanilla-lactonic. Very soft. If you like to smell like marshmallows or something you can eat, sweets.. that you will like this. It performs like a body spray. 40 euro's for a 100ml perfume that is bad quality... I regret buying this.

Creamy, coconutty citrus topped with sugar. It quickly moves to peach, floral, and caramel, always touched by a vanilla creaminess. A creamy, buttery, coconut fruit dessert. Very weak. A benzoin and musk drydown. Very weak!

Finally it’s on here! They killed it with this one. Spot on. This is a creamy peach lemon vanilla caramel dream. It’s giving peach/lemon/orange creamsicle. Perfectly blended, nothing is overpowering anything else. Truly a perfect citrus summer gourmand. The citrus is not sharp at all, think peach lemonade and vanilla cream. If you like Hufflepuff but don’t want to support HOS or pay the exorbitant prices then look no further. Also reminiscent of Mochi Milk/Dedcool or Marshmallows/Ellis Brooklyn but without the deep smoky incense or patchouli notes.

Does anyone pick up on a really scratchy note in the first minute? Then it’s gone but comes back but very slightly... like it’s not the smoothest frag I have that’s all I’m saying. Even compared to something like Marshmallow Blush where it’s relatively the same price that one is smooth- this one is rough around the edges and kinda screechy. It’s a lovely gourmand scent and smells very much like hufflepuff. I don’t have that one but I have smelled it- I don’t remember it being so screechy so ya.

Got a small tester of this. A bit soapy yet very sweet, but soo pleasant. Actually considering buying the full bottle! The coconut and vanilla is mainly present, but Its on the cleaner side, and also isnt too much in your face vanilla either. Can almost smell like a honey type sweetness in it, maybe some caramel.... This is what i imagine bees to smell when pollinating flowers! Or maybe what a living in a beehive would be like (,,>ヮ<,,)

All those complaining about weak performance: how long have you had your bottles? Mine was weak too; opened 29 September, now it's 9 November I'm only just able get a couple of hours' wear and it's still in development. Otherwise it's the usual thing with budget Arabics: batch inconsistencies. Seems to be happening a lot these days. Update: Its only a month later and it's gotten STRONG. This is a great performer

Really nice fragrance. It smells like the intense version of Empire Victor. Lemon sorbet cake in the opening sweetened by the caramel note. Very nice refreshing gourmand. It’s better than Victor to me and once I finish my Victor this will be my next purchase. I don’t really get a coconut and the peach is really subtle to my nose. Like the perfect amount.
