If you could let the smell of first love linger on your skin, would you? Impalisa moves you beyond a scent, to a place in time that could never be truly replicated. Your black, silk dress clings in all the right places; your fuzzy cardigan dips slightly off one shoulder. Your footsteps casually fall in sync with his as you walk past the kitschy gift shops downtown. The mood and conversation are as light and bubbly as the drinks that were just shared. The soft rays of the setting sun shine warm and golden across your skin, clashing with the beginning nip of fall air. You begin to approach another novelty shop, spotting flower boxes filled with an array of pink and red roses. You stop and take in the layers of fragrance radiating from the blooms. The initial scent of the soft, velveteen petals fills the air around you. The first note comes across as ripe red fruit, juicy and ready to be picked. You can almost taste thick, sugary jam on the tip of your tongue. Next comes a gentle, almost whisper of rose-scented dusting powder. Your mind briefly flashes to the cardboard box and oversized, white pouf sitting on your grandma's dresser, the cloud that was conjured as she graced her skin with the scent. Almost instinctively, your fingers skim the soft, wooden mulch, which is slightly cooler than anticipated. Its musky, natural woodiness refuses to be ignored, but is content to play a supporting role in this production. A slight sweetness lingers, like your last sip of Moscato before leaving the bar, still at the back of your throat now. You break from your fixation on the roses to look at him, only to find that he is already looking at you. Your eyes hold contact and that's when you see it-he loves you. He won't say it tonight, and you won't push him for it, the palpable silence is enough.

Ok! OK! This reminds me of an incensey perfume that I have called Sheik by Lataffa (I put it in the "this reminds me of" above) - but, only if Sheik was richer and had rose. It's not blind buy safe. I LOVE Sheik and have a back up bottle of it. I wear Sheik in the fall/winter. Impalisa is like the spring/summer sister of Sheik. Orrrr, it's like Delina's older, more mature sister. I love this one!!! If you don't like rose or incense (mainly sandalwood), don't buy it. I smell no grapefruit or fruit of any kind. I'm picking up only rose and sandalwood. Yummmm! ***This does NOT smell anything like guidance to me. I love Guidance. This isn't it. I'm gonna make this bottle evaporate, quickly!!! Triple traders $34 with tax $41.12

I got a sample of Impadia and fell in love with the smell but hated the price tag. I saw this version and got a sample and thought it was pretty close- Impadia is a lot more smoother and “creamier” imo, having a touch darker more velvet dry down. This is close enough to scratch the itch though! Still a pretty scent. That being said, I searched everywhere for it and was always sold out. Finally found it! Average price around $35-45 which is higher than I usually spend on my ME fragrances but paid it. It’s sweet, spicy and even though it doesn’t list it, has this incense/tea type quality to it. Addicting if you like that profile. Will be a strong rotation in the fall and winter

It opens with a very prominent, bright, and well‐defined rose. And I (someone who usually doesn’t get along with rose in perfumes) was surprised by how pleasant it feels here. As it settles on the skin, the rose softens and blends beautifully with the citrus accents and sandalwood, and in the dry‐down it develops a gentle sweetness that makes it round and elegant. The longevity is very good, and its evolution is smooth and enjoyable. A feminine, balanced fragrance that manages to turn rose into an interesting note, even for those who don’t normally prefer it.

All the other dupe offerings from this brand have been misses for me, and while Impalisa is not spot on for Impadia, it’s damn close and it’s beautiful. A citrusy, musky rose scent that isn’t overly floral or sugary sweet. A well balanced blend here. I live where it’s currently VERY hot and I can wear it in the heat; it speaks loudly but it doesn’t become cloying or overbearing. It does get better as it sits. I’m obsessed and will most certainly purchase another bottle when I run out.

Don’t forget to let ALL your arabic perfumes sit on the shelf for few weeks after you first sprayed! Of course you’ll be disappointed if you judge it after first spray. And if you don’t have patience to let it sit (macerate) then solution is to pay 10 times more money for the original, problem solved.

Love this better than the original perfume. It smells the same but it is not as strong. Very long lasting for the amount you’re paying for this one. Love love love!

Just like the original. Love this one. The longer I wear the more I can smell each layer and note of the perfume. Perfect fragrance.

Yesssss. I sampled BDK Impadia. Loved it. Researched for a dupe. Found it. Spot on! The end.

Use it if you want to get compliments! Candied spicy rose. It’s very sweet but I love it.

I understand why people debate the similarities between this juice and BDK Impadia. While I see a slight resemblance, Impalisa stands far apart in my opinion, despite sharing a few DNA traits. To my nose, the key differences are: - BDK Impadia: Far smoother. It is a creamy, warm, well-blended, sweet scent with only a touch of citrus. I get no sparkling effect from it; instead, it is warm, sensual, put-together, and subtly playful. - Impalisa: Noticeably more citrus-forward from the opening all the way through the dry down. I get a big burst of lemon and rose initially, which then melts into sandalwood, amber, and vanilla. Rather than heavy warmth, it feels fresh and almost sparkling. I’ll let my bottle sit out for a bit and revert with updates later! Overall, this is a nice juice.

Well, I opened it today with very high expectations . It smells - to my nose almost identical tu rose 01 -Swiss arabian. The problem with my bottle ( legit! Bought from official seller) is that it does not project at all and lasts 1 minute. I am angry - really angry - because the votes I see on this site are different from my perception! I mean come on! Long lasting and great sillage ? I will put it in time out. Maybe it needs some time off. I cannot say about the scent - or about the evolution - since it did not last on me. At all ...

Its ok , I smell no cotton candy , this is BASICALLY a dusty carnation rose smell. Its not bad but its not that impressive or anything. If you like a floral church dusty carnations in the air slight smokey rose , its for you. This is not for me. I see a woman in her 70 's to 80's wearing this for church on a spring day but its too funeral church formal for me. Its a mature Rose , with a hint sweetness and its not musky its lilac carnation like. 5/10 In comparison to KAYALI royal rose scent , hers is more musky fruity younger floral rose like Delina , but this one is fully POTTERY CHURCH ROSE.

For all the hype and anticipation this was unfortunately a let down. There's an over-ripe , almost rotten fruit stank that lingers 🤢. It's nothing like Impadia (love it but don't wanna support the brand). The optimistic side of me wants this to be one of those situations where maturation will do the trick. However the pessimist in me doesn't feel hopeful that a comeback is possible. Let's see which side wins. Tbc...

The first spritz oh, no, some caramel with rose and hints of lemon. In less than a minute, the three scents change from minute to minute. I am sure that more than half of the women would buy this perfume, because you will often smell something like this in the air rather than something sophisticated. This is literally a combination of scents that are not of a similar sensibility and unfortunately this passes.

I really wanted to like it since I bought this for my birthday but it was kind of a blind buy fail. If Impadia or Guidance smells like this then I’m glad I didn’t spend big bucks to buy them. When I first got it, it smelled like gasoline. After about a month, all I could smell was the grapefruit. It’s bitter. It is beast mode. However, I wonder who would want to smell like this all day?

Ive had this bottle opened for a while. Testing the first week was lack luster. It was a pretty girl smell. Today after weeks of rest. I went the entire day without perfume. Eventually, i sprayed Impalisa and she was deeper than just a sweet naive girl. She became a classy woman. She has her sweetest smile but a tart sense of humor. A sensual side that is elegant, and gentle in a bury your nose in a fresh picked rose feel. The bright quiet feminine musk is wrapped around d a cotton candy kiss. I love it. But for me, she needed her beauty rest to awaken her many gorgeous facets.
