Morpheus in Greek mythology was the god of dreams. Hypnos(the god of sleep) was his father. Pasithea (the goddess of relaxation and rest) was his mother. The name Morpheus comes from the Greek word “μορφή” which means morphe. We use the expression “παραδόθηκε στην αγκαλιά του Μορφέα” which means "surrendered to the arms of Morpheus", for those who fell asleep peacefully. As a Greek I couldn’t resist to explore this house and this fragrance 🇬🇷 Les bras de Morphée is a dreamy powdery fragrance. Opens fresh and ozonic with crispy violet leaves, sweet nectarous peach and powdery almondy heliotrope 🪻 Breathtaking powdery heart with a lot of woody, earthy iris and floral violets while hazelnuts add more nuttiness to this powdery beauty. Sweet rich vanilla and tonka beans at the base make the earthy, floral powder slightly sweet surrounded by cashmeran. Les bras de Morphée is the most fluffy, floral, nutty, sweet, earthy powdery fragrance I have ever smelled. THIS is how I could imagine smelling, traveling to a spectacular dream created by Morpheus, floating on a cloud surrounded by fairies and lots of violets 🌷

Initial application is full violet leaf and peach, unsweetened Parma violets and very earthy. It’s has a lovely powdery vanilla sweetness as it dries down. I do think this is a great everyday scent that you can wear at anytime (except some evening events occasionally) very cozy and on me smells of fresh laundry with violet detergent and vanilla candles. I actually don’t get the chestnut and was surprised vanilla was rated so low. It is a great “I have no idea what to wear today and need something easy” option. However, I prefer scents that project and this one is more on the intimate side of things (though not weak and useless). If this was more powerful I’d buy it (though I don’t think it would be as magical if it’s was, so it’s fine the way it is!) Would absolutely love to have this as a candle. EDIT: this is actually my most complimented perfume in my collection.

I love this perfume. I wore it to bed first, due to the name, but I don’t think nighttime does it justice. Whilst I liked the sweet, creamy, powdery opening, by the time I woke up I just smelt like a good but simple vanilla. But wearing it throughout the day, you get to enjoy the seamless transitions through its notes. It’s a fantastical smoky vanilla lifted by delicate fruits and florals- but it’s like the vanilla has been purified through smoking. It makes it cleaner, more sophisticated. The nuttiness in turn makes the smoke feel lighter, less tobacco and more fresh woodsmoke. The design is so thoughtful as each note interacts with the others and transforms them. It is so complex without losing sight of itself. For me it feels like a warm and playful day in a forest, gathering flowers and fruits and nuts before falling asleep in a meadow.

Reviewing a bottle from 2025. Les Bras de Morphée was launched in 2024. This is a dreamy fluffy soft violet- iris scent. Les Bras de Morphée opens with peachy suede followed by violet and slightly powdery creamy iris. Vanilla, tonka and cashmeren add to the soft airiness. I don't get the hazelnut but can see how it would blend perfectly here. No significant sweetness or synthetic notes.This was picked up in Paris but Hellenist is available in the US at Stele. Quality- very good Unisex- leans feminine Performance- very good , stays close and lasts about 4 hours on me. Beautiful soft cozy violet iris fragrance. Although this may not work as a sleep aid it will definitely result in beautiful happy dreams. I have not tried Guerlain's discontinued Iris ganache but based on the scent profile it seems this may be a reasonable alternative. 8/10

What an interesting and pretty fragrance! This is a vegeteal, green, natural, eathy iris, with the softness of violet added in. The freshness of this could be compared to something with cucumber in it, although cucumber isn't listed. It feels like a more earthy and less sweet "Celeste." That one is very sweet whereas this is similar but more natural smelling. I do get the hazelnut, which gives this a dry and nutty edge to the dry down. I don't necessarily smell any peach, unless that is what's putting off the juicy cucumber note. But I don't see how that could be. This is quite simply artistry in perfumery. I can smell so many notes individually but yet they blend so seamlessly. I don't know why, but I picture myself at an all inclusive spa in Thailand when I wear this. That is the imagery I get. It's so relaxing and calming.

Les Bras de Morphée by Hellenist honestly feels like a warm hug in a bottle. As it settles, the powdery iris and violet really shine, and it gives me that cozy, just-out-of-the-shower vibe but with a little elegance. The dry-down is my favorite part: creamy vanilla, tonka, and cashmeran that feel warm and comforting without being heavy or too sweet. It’s not a loud fragrance at all; it stays pretty close to the skin, which makes it feel personal and special—like a scent you wear for yourself, not for everyone else. If you like soft, powdery, dreamy perfumes that make you feel calm and put-together, this one is a total winner.

It was a blind buy, and I really regret that I only got the 15 ml size. Based on the notes, the description, and the reviews, I was sure I would love it. And I did — although it’s not at all what I imagined. At first spray it’s very green, crisp, and earthy, but after a few minutes it shows its refined, creamy side with iris and hazelnut, and the violet adds an extra magical dimension. After 4–5 hours it turns into a lovely, comforting, but brutally addictive soft, powdery embrace. It’s both classic and exciting. A masterpiece. It almost dethrones Dama Bianca from its signature throne — for now only because I can’t really imagine it in warmer weather, but we’ll see! It’s not the main point, of course, but it does warm my heart that many people compliment it on me.

This is an intriguing scent. Peachy ambrette-iris paired with a cardboard leather, with slightly boozy vanilla sweetness coming through faintly underneath. Sometimes I get the peachy iris first, then the cardboard-leather; sometimes it's the other way round. The best is when they blend into a narcotic glow, but too often the parts remain awkwardly separate, and the solvent-cardboard dominates. Low sillage but good longevity; definitely a winter perfume for me. It actually reminds me of the thinned-down edt version of Guerlain's Attrape-Coeur, Vol de Nuit Evasion, though with less heritage know-how and no incense in the base. Will continue to test. Also resembles Discotheque Lola at Coat Check, which has a similar louche-sweet-dirty vibe.

In six years of perfume collecting my husband has only complemented two of my perfumes. This is one of them. Les Bras de Morphée is a stunning piece of perfumery that transitions seamlessly through a green violet opening, a starchy, earthy iris with unexpected wafts of soapy, ozonic freshness, to the heart of an iris-hazelnut-wood accord that lasts forever. The longevity is bananas. It lasted overnight and I could still smell it during a cold-lake swim! For those who don’t like the opening notes, just wait a little while. Just as sleep doesn’t always come right away, the arms of Morpheus open slowly, gently.

I promised myself I wouldn’t blind buy full bottles anymore, so I picked up a 3ml sample and immediately fell in love! If you’re someone who doesn’t usually enjoy the “lipstick vibe” from iris, don’t worry, this one is beautifully crafted. The first spritz opens fresh and green, with a touch of tart yet sweet peach. It’s light, airy, and softly powdery. The iris and violet really shine here, giving a cozy yet elegant vibe. It’s not loud at all; it stays close to the skin and creates a gentle scent bubble. Definitely office-friendly and bedtime frag worthy! Adding this to my full bottle wish list.

Les Bras de Morphée is easily one of my top five scents - and without question, my favorite iris-violet fragrance. Wow wow wow!! You have to love Violet and Iris to appreciate this stunner. I was immediately reminded of my favorite Guerlain: Les Bras de Morphees is the closest you’ll get to Iris Ganache. The difference is intensity. IG is deeper, richer and more buttery and has more of a “Cuir Beluga” type vanilla in the base. LBdM has the same tart Violet/ buttery Iris with an earthy nuttiness and leathery (Tonka) nuances and is less gourmand than IG but it’s pretty damn close. It’s a stunning fragrance and I’m so happy I swapped my Chanel 1932 edt for it 💕 Thanks swap buddy

I recently bought this perfume for myself, thinking it would be my fall/winter signature scent. I don't know if I'm just anosmic to this fragrance or something in it, but I can hardly smell it. I'd only tried it as a sample (1ml dabber) so I didn't notice how light it was since all perfumes, in my experience, smell very light when using dabbers. This is also coming from someone who prefers EDTs or light EDPs. Hoping it's just me and others can smell it because I've already made a sizable dent in my 100ml bottle.

A beautifully balanced green–powder scent. The violet leaf is crisp and dewy, blending seamlessly with orris without turning sweet. I rarely layer, but I like to pair this with Philosykos to amplify the leafiness... Edit: I got a 15ml bottle and it arrived on my birthday yay! Edit2: this has become my favorite fragrance, there is no competition! This is perfect scent for your coziest hoodie, truly a soft embrace. I think I’m going to have to purchase a FB sooner than I realized.

The way this one snuck up on me from initial rejection (felt it was too sweet) to absolute love... I am obsessed with how well balanced it is. It's warm, but it's floral. It's a bit sweet, but it's also woody and nutty. It's creamy but also spicy. It's so complex in such a beautiful, warm and addictive way. I've been wearing the sample I got to sleep every night, and it's so comforting. As soon as the 100ml is available, it'll be an instant purchase.

Reaaaaally good one! I still prefer Nuit 300 from this brand (which I just bought a full bottle of it) but this one I really like too. So smooth, rounded, creamy, elegant, prefect amount of sweetness... Also I'm really surprised no one mentioned it but this instantly reminds of original Valentino Uomo. This one is more softer than Valentino and more unisex but still it was the first perfume I got in my mind once I smelled Les Bras.

Killer scent. This is my type of fragrance. This one is unique because you get a garden greenness at the beginning, reminiscent of cucumbers. Not sure what combo of notes in this give me cucumber but it’s wonderful and fleeting. Dry down is a comforting, irisy powdery heaven. The lasting power is decent. At least 5 hours on skin but I notice it on clothes long after.

Such a gorgeous buttery soft iris scent...I can’t stop smelling my wrists. This is such an easy reach for me. I could wear it for date night or even just to the gym. I feel like there’s a clean aesthetic to it but not like the other “laundry” fragrances out there. This is my second scent from Hellenist and I’m definitely impressed with the house!

@ Not_So_Perfumy As you can see by votes peach is not that prominent. In my opinion not even detectable. I could agree that smells more like fantasy Iris chocolate spread. Anyways hopefully you didn’t run away from this beautiful perfume without even trying it in the first place.

I am not a fan of iris normally, as it is rather powdery, however, this scent is a must have. It smells so elegant. This is how I imagined Chanel N5 would smell like when I was little. Sophisticated, delicate and addictive. Just gorgeous.

Tbh, this could be the beautiful lovechild of Black Tie and Gris Charnel. LBdM, literally, carries the essence of each, and It’s so charming. Absolutely love this cool, woody, powdery dusting of a fragrance. 😮💨

Really really good. I purchased their discovery set and didn't really care for any of the other scents. This one was a stand out. The iris and hazelnut are so well blended and creamy. Love it.

STUNNING powder bomb! The violet and heliotrope are doing the heavy lifitng in the opening, but everything synergizes into powdery cloud of florals with some sweetness from the vanilla.

It's like music that stops you in your tracks, you drop everything to pay attention, pretty hypnotic. Unique scent. Can't get enough of this one. Beautiful.

I love iris fragrance and I have to say I'm not fully into this one and I'm a bit sad because I was so glad to get to try it, as I love iris, tonka and violet. It's good, but if you really love iris, the peach and the hazelnut are pretty strong and give Les bras de morphée a different texture than most iris fragrance. It's creamy and a bit warm, conforting in a way. The hazelnut is intriguing, it has that strong smell of the hazelnut's aftertaste, when they're a bit old and oily. It makes the scent rich, and kind of round. The dry down is nice, fluffy and confy. I don't think that the iris is that powdery but I'm not a good judge for that, as I love starchy and powdery scents. The peach accord, with the iris makes for a lush, and kind of luxurious opening. I said it at the begining it's good but not for me in a way I can't really pinpoint. It's an interesting perfume and I'll probably buy the small bottle for fall, because I would love to love it more than I did when I sampled it.

Opening: Again with that powder 3x, but this time, it has a nutty smell (hazelnut) and is also green yet powdery. It’s not gourmand-leaning or a roasted hazelnut, but a fresh, freshly picked, raw hazelnut smell. As it dries down: All I can smell is the nutty raw hazelnut, with a bit of that fuzzy peach (not jammy, like when you pick a fuzzy peach at a grocery store). The cashmeran, vanilla, and tonka here also contribute to the sweetness and powderiness of the fragrance. Overall: I think if you like nut-centric scents, you will like this one. It’s not your typical nutty gourmand since this one smells raw yet powdery at the same time. I can also imagine myself in a cozy blanket eating raw hazelnuts, while my body is covered in dusting baby powder. 3.9/5

Very soft violet and tinge of green in the opening. As it drys down it becomes a bit sweeter with vanilla and a vague sense of nuttiness. I couldn't particularly point out hazelnut precisely, but it adds a unique flare to the composition making it not just your everyday powdery iris perfume. Heliotrope is always a win in my book and love the addition of it here. heliotrope is unique in the fact that it is a floral, but has facets and characteristics heavy with vanilla and almond. So i think it does a great job here. Violet leaf is not overwhelming in any way or even very perceptible. Which is good for me, it can get quite astringent and acrid pretty quick in its use, at least in its natural form.

This one is interesting and not really what i was expecting. Opening is semi-fresh. I get a cucumber and lime (watered down agua de pepino) note in the first 10-15 minutes. It then dries down to a cozy powdery nutty fragrance. The description of a cozy hug is spot on. Just makes me think of being bundled up in a blanket on the couch for a lazy day in home. Compared to other fragrances I have tried before, this almost gives me Initio Paragon, but without the juicy plum.

Les Bras de Morphée has a very clean almost fresh sheet of notebook paper quality to it. It sits close to the skin with this exquisite blend of notes. This one is for the intricate musk lovers. It tells this beautiful and complex scent story that may be off-putting to fragrance enthusiasts who favor sweetness over depth. She is a deep thinker.

Cold bitter carroty iris. Smells like a bunch of fragrances I"ve tested before. Beyond The Wall Gritti, Fendi La Baguette. Fendi La Baguette is way better to me. Very nice but I do not need another iris fragrance and this is not special enough. Also this is way better than Loewe Iris Root to me.

For me, the opening smells exactly like sliced cucumbers, and that scent lingers for quite a long time. Then it settles into a powdery green scent, I can detect a bit of heliotrope, but the violet leaf overpowers everything (I assume the leaf gives the cucumber scent). After a couple of hours it smells of creamy powdery violet with a hint of tonka. I have to say, it is way more pleasant in a distance rather then smelling it directly on the skin and other people will get to enjoy it way more than the person wearing it. Longevity is great, it lasts a solid 10 hours on my skin, and it has an impressive sillage as well. I am interested to see how this will perform during autumn and winter time, maybe the hazelnut will shine in colder weather.

I'm not sure if it was due to a difference in batches, the aging process, the temperature at the time, or simply my mood, but the scent was stronger than when I tried it in the store, with the iris and violet notes being much more prominent. It smelled so lovely the first time I tried it... Ultimately, I ended up with the impression of an older woman who'd put on too much perfume, so if I were to wear this again, I'd only apply a tiny bit far from my nose.

I thought I was going to love this based on the notes, but unfortunately, it’s just not for me. It smelled very orris heavy, despite not having that as a note. It’s a bit heavy, dense, and something almost fluffy about it. There’s a light nuttiness from the hazelnut. It somewhat reminds me of Sorce’s English Major without the dusty note. It’s an objectively good scent, it just doesn’t work with my skin

much more astringent than i expected from the notes, and almost waxy? vegetal? a little nutty. person recommending this to me described it as a scent for "girls that wear black" and in retrospect i definitely see that kind of character here. nothing saccharine or fluffy about it. elegantly constructed for sure, just not my personal style.

Starts out with heliotrope and Iris. Dry down adds hazelnut and vanilla. No fruitiness. Powdered. I’m starting to think I should avoid heliotrope all together.edited : opps it’s in a couple of my favorites but is light in those compositions.

I love this fragrance; it was one of my best finds of 2025. The projection is pretty intimate, and I think that's fine for this kind of scent profile, but I wish it performed better. It lasts no more than two hours on my skin

Extreme violet powder. Not for me.

Soapy violet, with a hazelnut crunchy dry note. Quite watery and flowy, what distinguishes this perfume is the base: cashmeran, vanilla & tongka ensure some originality to an otherwise very familiar Violet Vintage cosmetic feel ( still nice to be reminded of ). Reminds me of Choco Violet Mancera , without the chocolate. I wish the hazelnut was more prominent. Iris is beautiful but covered by other floral / fruity notes. And something is unfortunately effecting the drydown , probably heliotrope and peach, creating a slightly weird waxy accord that i don't love. Very watery scent in general, skin scent, no longevity and sillage. But if an airy cloud of Violet and Iris is what you like, this will feel like a fresh breeze under shady tall trees in a sunny day. And will refresh you and re-invigorate you with every spray. I sense this is a great one on clothes, for better longevity. I really would love this with more hazelnut :( i dont feel like this is different enough from many perfumes i've smelled. still, well executed, so , 7/10

This is a beauty and to my nose by far the best creation of Suzy Le Helley. It really is warm and enveloping but not in a cloying sweet way. There is something sweet which I'm guessing is coming from the peach and heliotrope but in the most delicate way possible. The comination of iris and violet with the hazelnut is to die for. And obviously, can't forget about the decadent tonka bean in the base. This is very natural and you can smell all the notes but they blend beautiful together and don't overpower each other. Is like a symphony where every note has it's place but well coordinated. They elegantly transition to each other. It is very modern profile. Good for day wear and office friendly. To me, this is perfect for fall, when the leaves are down, but not too cold yet. Probably in colder spring days too.

I’m kicking myself for only buying the 15ml. This is STUNNING. That opening is green and peachy. Freshly picked then bitten. And it quickly transforms into an Iris/violet that is sweet, candied and earthy all at the same time. Powdered and delectable. The long dry down maintains the powdered cloud and sighs a breath of vanilla that’s never generic or saccharine. Once I get through this 15ml, I will be getting that full bottle. This may blow up on tiktok..I have a feeling. And when it does don’t listen to the naysayers.

Just 3 good sprays,traps and chest. vanilla, Tonka, hazelnut with a hint of flowers. fresh floral scent, bold enough even for a man. Decadent. I was told I smell delicious. Strong enough on its own, it is a show stopper, too refined to be loud. But the right light scent like Molecule 01 will be like playing the game on invincible mode.
