Ambre Cuir De HJ

I would like to respectfully express my disagreement with the opinion below. I am a man 45+ and I have a full bottle in my collection. When it comes to gender, I choose "more feminine." And the more it dries, the more feminine it becomes. However, this does not at all discourage me from using it. I assume that the opinion below is based on the fact that it is not a "yummy, yummy" scent. In my view, if I were to strictly categorize it as "for women," it would belong to the more "rough" ones compared to other "for women" fragrances I know. It ́s not rough, I just don ́t know how to describe it in a way that is understandable 🙂 Maybe it might be better to write "it ́s not a girlie scent". It is suitable for mature women aged 40+ and more appropriate for special occasions rather than everyday wear. btw, it is an amazing scent with a vintage vibe...

Spectacular amber fragrance. The opening is exquisite but unusual - a fuzzy cola/lavender vibe. It then transforms into a very luxurious spicey soap (kind of reminds me of the most refined vintage Imperial Leather Soap!), and then far dry transforms into an amber- leathery (and quite animalic) beauty.

I like amber fragrances. And I bought Amber Maliki from a very reputed company in the Gulf to know more about amber. This was their finest, genuine, pure amber and so potent that just 2 or 3 drops burnt the nostrils of the wearer and created an alluring scent cloud that people who stood 12 feet away appreciated greatly but they didn't like it up close. And it was linear and now its not much in rotation. Just as you can love some people only from a distance so it was with this Amber Maliki. You can love Amber Maliki only by maintaining a distance. This Ambre Cuir is an absolutely gorgeous fragrance though. Its amber alright but extremely refined with leather. I agree with the reviewer below. Leather and Amber both are so distinct here.Theres something very mildly animalic. Fine floral essences have been added to tame amber here.

This is a fantastic unisex scent. Superb uplifting opening courtesy of the Orange blossom. Almost fizzy in nature, I liken it to the sweets love hearts or refreshers. The heart of this scent is not what you'd expect and is so well blended you would not be able to pick apart the notes. Performance is excellent. Longevity is superb. Projection is deceptive and sillage is refined Classic French perfumery at its finest.

I've never experienced an amber fragrance like this. It's deep but also has a sparkle that I've never smelled in other amber fragrances. The leather is actually one of the more faint notes, amber and balsam being the strongest, and the floral and spice notes being present but softly blended into the background of the primary two notes. I also detect some animalic notes, but nothing too difficult to wear.

To call this a feminine scent is Ludacris. It's unisex if not masculine, but a woman of class can definitely pull this off. It's, thankfully, a basically non talked about scent that I get to be the only one that will be around me to wear! Got it in harrods in London
