What a gorgeous musc fragrance. Has a very balsamic waxy vibe to it, reminding me of authentic musc fragrances like russian musk II by Areej. Adore!

It’s very hard to draw comparisons between Henry Jacques and other houses because they really are on a completely different level. Darcy @henryjacques was kind enough to send me sample blotters of many HJ scents and although they were all magnificent, this one really stood out to me. This is very much in the style of some of the powerhouse vintage masculine scents that I love, but done with ultra premium HJ materials and skill. The olibanum and ylang ylang work together amazingly with the other resinous notes and spices. The base has an incredibly beautiful patchouli and deep, creamy musk combination which lends a smooth, masculine aura to the fragrance. Although this is a bold and striking scent, it never comes off as heavy or harsh in any way. The way this fragrance is blended is absolutely masterful and wearable anytime. I can say with 100% certainty that this is one of the best perfumes I’ve ever smelled. Highly recommended.

Maybe im deluded but it smells like a nornal black musk attar just better blended. Nice but the price is astonishing
