Windows Down P.C.H.

Initially the citrus notes showed up soapy on me, but then eventually came through early on during the dry down. It’s an interesting combination of being woodsy and rich while still being quite fresh and crisp in the presentation. I am really enjoying this scent, I hope they produce this in a candle, as it would make a room smell incredible!

If they were trying to make something smell like a trip down the Pacific Coast Highway they met the brief. Fresh, woodsy, a bit bracing. Slightly wild. It’s not that citrus to me.

Wish the citrus in this was juicier but it’s very rindy. I don’t get much florals. It does lean a bit masculine. However, the dry down is lovely. It reminds me of Le Labo’s Another 13

Well, I expected this to be closer to the original Windows Down, but it's very different. I think it's the elemi resin or cypriol for me. Much heavier. It's very hard to find perfumes that work with my skin chemistry, so it's too intense for me. I ended up trying to scrub it off after a few hours because it was overwhelming, but the scent lingered for almost 12 hrs, even with the scrubbing. If you're looking for a heavier version of Windows Down that lasts forever, this might be exactly what you have been dreaming of.
