Forest

i love this scent. my partner tested it at sprouts and i found myself chasing after it the rest of the day, so i ended up buying them a bottle(which i frequently steal sprays from) lasts almost all day on clothes and close to the skin, and though it’s not the most revolutionary scent it’s very pleasant and likeable. even if oversprayed it’s not cloying. don’t get much of the floral notes but the moss and pepper combine beautifully. super worth the low price!! though it’s marketed as a men’s scent and leans a little masc, i’d say anyone could wear this if you like woody scents :)

Okay everyone let's cut to the CHASE here. This is one of my favorite fragrances of all time. This was a Sprouts Supermarket purchase and if it were at an indie boutique could go for $150 ++. Truly a sweet pine hug. Fairs in all weather and gives the moderate indie vibe everyone's chasing. Get it! It's a gem.

I'll admit the name of this got me to blind buy it. After all,m who doesn't like the scent of a forest? Well, this smells nothing like a forest and I get no pine in this whatsoever. The top is synthetic, almost like one of those room spayers, but it does settle down after 10 minutes or so to a more natural scent. It reminds me of Pino Silverste (original release) but of lessor quality. Pino is more natural but the longevity is about the same. TIP: When applying Forest I suggest you spray your shirt (middle chest area) to get triple the longevity, In fact, on clothes you'll get a much better experience because it turns rather meh on the skin, at least mine. On clothing however it's very pleasant, fresh and clean. Don't worry it doesn't stain I tested it on white shirts and colored shirts. No stains. All in all, for the price I paid ($16) it's a decent fragrance 7/10. But there are far better fragrances at that price range that provides much more of a 'pine forest vibe' such as Aspen By Coty ($10), Pino, and the legendary king of pine Qourum, to name a few.

This is a pretty linear fragrance—from top notes through dry down I get evergreen, bay, cedar, grassy greenness, and spicy cloves. It smells like wild weeds crushed underfoot, and a little like chewing on mint leaves and other herbs, like that bitter tang you get in addition to the mintiness of a real leaf. Smells like a forest but stronger. Good spillage and longevity. It becomes warmer on the dry down, almost like you went into a forest in the morning and now it’s noon and the sun has warmed up the greenery a bit. This is definitely what would be classified as masculine, by those who abide by such classifications. I do not, and wear it freely as a woman. The natural ingredients are a plus, too. 6/10

Kinda has a RL Polo &/or Fou d'Absinthe vibe to it. Would swear there was a prominent pine or fir accord in it, but apparently not?? I like it but don't love it. For the price ($12) it's not bad but it's also not terribly great either -- basically, I suppose I could take it or leave it. That said, it's actually quite an okay wear on a warm late summer-early fall day out here on the Westcoast of North America.

Deep smell. Peat moss maybe? I like how it's all-natural essential oils. Gets a plus in my book. Got it at a Whole Foods cosmetic section while it was on a post-Xmas sale, and I wanted something to keep in my car. Only ever seen it at Whole Foods. Not for everyone. I think it's alright but not in love with it... and it got switched out of my car for something I thought more car-guests would be OK with.

tested it at my local Sprouts and am a sucker for woods and a more natural approach to perfumes. Price was ok I paid 27.00, I thought too much. It's more a chypre than fougere ,the pepper is at the bottom and what hints at tobacco and can be layered with flowers or ambers. Unisex to me, as a woman I am not afraid of deep woods.

Pungent and offensive fragrance. Smells exactly like bug spray to me and it has a super synthetic pine smell that will make your eyes water. The dry down is better maybe even pleasant, its dark woody and maintains its spice . However, nothing should assault your senses the way this does off its top. its brutal.

I was hoping this would smell like the deodorant, it doesn't. The top notes are a big synthetic hit of spicy cloves with some pine underneath, giving way to mint and pepper. And there's a slight grassy sweetness that I can't quite place. But not a whole lot of depth here. I do like the dry down, and find that I prefer it more on skin especially after a work out, since sweat seems to subdue the sharpness and mellows it out. For a cheaper fragrance you can find at some grocery stores/co-ops, it isn't bad, but probably not one I would rebuy.
