Angel's Trumpet

when i was in high school, the first fragrance i ever wore was this creamy, light, jasmine floral scent that was from a brand that no longer existed and hadn't for like 10-20 years at that point, but my grandmother had found it at a thrift store/op shop and bought it to give to me for one of my birthdays. i wore it every day and everyone said it was MY signature scent. i was so devastated when it ran out. i have spent fifteen years trying to find something that smells even remotely similar, especially because my grandmother has since passed away. i literally STUMBLED upon this one. i'd fallen in love with nosferatu from heretic parfum and wanted to try some of the others from the brand, so i bought two of the sample sets. i bought season of the witch and the new rhubarb therapy sample set, but angel's trumpet blew all 10 of the other fragrances out of the water, and it smells SO similar to the fragrance i used to wear in high school. to cut a long story short, this is the most dreamy, ethereal scent i've ever smelled and makes me feel like i'm the main character in my favourite novel, dancing at midnight in a wildwood garden with fairies and mythical creatures. it's floral, creamy, sweet and a little bit green. i hope this one stays on heretic's books forever, because this is becoming my signature scent and they'll have to pry it from my cold, dead hands.

Angel's Trumpet, my beloved. I absolutely adore this scent. Starts off spicy and earthy, which I was worried about because I was hoping it would be more sweet. But a short time later, it transforms into a wonderfully dewy, creamy jasmine and ylang-ylang duo. It's delicate, but not completely innocent, which, like a previous review said, I think may be from the violet leaf. It isn't super sensual, but rather very feminine, which I absolutely love because I don't like overtly sensual scents. I love my pretty, light florals and this is her. Definitely a bit tropical with the tiare, but don't let it deter you, the other notes certainly run the show here. I find the projection is on par with other Heretic perfumes, but it does last longer than the other two scents in this collection. I found the other scents in this collection kind of meh, but it was def worth the purchase for this scent. Just a lovely, beautifully feminine scent.

Heretic ate up with this one. It’s what I expect when I think about night-blooming flowers. It feels like what Miller Harris Black Datura EDP should have smelled like to me. I tested that one, but it just smelled like a photorealistic corn tortilla. I’m glad I tested it but it was such a letdown. After discovering this, I just felt the need to blind-buy it without testing. I advise against doing that but it just felt right for me. It is so beautiful when it hits the skin. :) ❤️❤️❤️ Also, a datura flower (devil’s trumpet) is basically the opposite of the brugmansia flower (angel’s trumpet)— pretty ironic. Although both are night-blooming toxic plants!

This is such a pretty scent, kinda reminds me of the beach ever so lightly, just beautiful, delicate solar florals. It gives me the vibe of like a nightime beach trip, your sitting in the sand, surrounded by tropical flowers, watching the sunset. I'll definitely be buying a full bottle soon, I've not been able to stop thinking about how lovely this perfume is, this may be my new signature scent for summer! It's a somewhat sweet, sensual floral, than smells warm on the skin. I don't get any spicy notes from the violet leaf in this either it's just warm and beautiful!!! <3

This is one of my new favorite perfumes, it just smells so nostalgic and warm in an addictive way. My friends both said it smells like an old ladies bathroom but in a good way, which I kind of agree with since it reminds me of being in my grandmas house in the country as a kid where everything smells like powdery florals. I'd say it leans more feminine but I still love wearing this as a dude idc, especially when you layer it with something more earthy or neutral.

love, love, love! i am, admittedly, a fan of white florals, but this is just delicious. the freesia and jasmine are perfect here, and that is coming from a girl who really is particular about jasmine (easily one of my all time favorite notes). as it develops, the jasmine stays strong (a positive for me) and the brighter floral smell dulls into a lovely, more even earthiness. just love it, and can’t wait to receive my full bottle.

I would call this a dirty white floral/beachy scent. It’s kind of what I expected black salt to be. It’s not your typical sunscreen scent. I definitely get the taire flower and ylang-ylang but also something more; like salted sweaty skin covered in sand or the aroma of the shower stalls by the beach. I’m thinking this is a blend the vetiver & violet leaf coming through. A very hypnotic and sensual scent imo.

Angels Trumpet is a dreamy elixir of fantasy. The powered white floral notes with a touch of freshness creates a feminine aura reminiscent of a forest overcast by white fog. When I wear this perfume I feel whimsical and enchanting. Its certainly one of my favorites in my collection, and it has also gotten me a ton of complements.

At the start, Angel's Trumpet is a loud white petal, creamy and thick. It lasts 3-4hrs and lightens up to a sweet floral, delicate and pretty. Of the three from the Nocturnal Collection, I like this one the most. It layers well with the others, adding a petal-soft skin, pretty and floral.

My obsession with this scent knows no bounds. Warm, creamy, intoxicating white floral scent. You simply must smell it. I am waiting for them to come out with the full sized bottle, and at this point I’m just trying to decide how many backups I want to purchase. I’m simply addicted.

This is probably going to be my favorite of the three. I got the Nocturnal flower sample set. The box it self is fantastic. A sweet freesia, lily, gardenia, Ylang and jasmine scent. The longevity is pretty average. Leans feminine.

Dark, delicious dusky white floral. Warm, intriguing, languidly sensual. Intoxicating in a good drink buzz sort of way. That libidinous, anticipatory feeling when you know the s*x is gonna be reaaaallly good. 🤤

This smells like walking in a garden at night. It’s a creamy, rich floral, with hints of dewy, woody, and green notes. On my skin, it fades into creamy jasmine, powdery but not particularly sweet.

Angel’s Trumpet is my first encounter with heretic & I’m in utter admiration. slightly cold, dewy, soft jasmine. I often steer clear of white florals but this changed my perspective.

Creamy and warm, this is a nice year round floral. My only gripe, as with most of Heretic fragrances, it just doesn’t project or last long

I love this scent. It's heavenly like taking a stroll through a flower garden. There's a warm creaminess to it too.

this started with a sharp earthy bite that initially read as spicy to my nose. i spent a good 15 minutes wondering if i'd gotten the bottles mixed up—nocturnal tuberose is supposed to have a sichuan pepper note but my nose didn't pick it up at all. but no, i think i was smelling the hyssop. what i was immediately reminded of, though, was the shiso note cacti by regime des fleurs. same unsettling element right at the start. but within 5 minutes, this became very wearable. i was kinda surprised. after that beginning, i wasn't expected to smell a beachy white floral and vanilla fragrance. but this is, in fact, a pretty typical jasmine + ylang ylang + tiare + sunscreen fragrance. don't get me wrong, it's beautiful. i love and covet my sunscreen fragrances and would recommend this fragrance to anyone who enjoys that quality in a fragrance, but i was expected something more complex. the dry down is ultimately warm and creamy, not at all dissimilar to the countless other beachy fragrances in my collection.

I will start with the fact that I rarely go for floral perfumes, and I hate ylang-ylang. But I like this perfume, it is indeed dewy and creamy but also strong yet sensual. There is also a certain earthiness to it behind the floral front. I personally wouldn't wear it, but if you love white florals, you should give Angel's Trumpet a try.

Night blooming white florals. I feel like very beautiful people wear this. Classic scent profile with a Heretic style that adds just a little darkness. I feel like a lovely garden that secretly has poisonous flowers in case the gardener needs to kill someone would smell like this. It’s so pretty!

So so pretty, dewy green creamy bright florals that would make a stunning late spring early summer scent I would drench myself in, but there's this horrid hidden banana note in there. Maybe you like banana but I do not at ALL so watch out.

i like it but way more dirty/spicy than i thought it would be? maybe thats the violet leaf idk. definitely sweet and interesting and i did get a compliment on it. but.......not as sensual as i wanted idk

Very candy-like opening notes, which dry down quickly into a very powdery, jasmine-forward scent which is just shy of cloying. It lasts forever, I enjoyed waking up to smell it on my arm still.

This smells like a fairy is making you some type of fruit pudding in her cottage during the summertime after you just applied sunscreen. The powder note is strong after it settles on the skin.

Lovely vintage fresh tuberose/jasmine/ylang. Very like Rogue Champs Lumiere.

A rare creamy and warm floral. The ylang ylang and vetiver are overwhelming at first, giving a very woody floral impression. In the dry down it clarifies to a pleasant sweet floral wood dry down. Not for me but I think it would be great for warm woody floral lovers.

This is the perfume that made me realize my aversion to white florals. They are most of the time too dainty and fragile for me. This would be killer on an older lady. I was expecting something with more edge from the marketing, i guess

Much too one note for me especially considering most of their other scents are more complex. I think I'm just personally not a fan of florals

Out of the whole collection, this is the most wearable and pretty. Elegant overall

Straight up jasmine on my skin, sadly too one note of a floral for me.

Creamy tiare flower and ylang-ylang fragrance. Really beautiful, and I find it to be the easiest to wear out of the 3 from the collection. It doesn’t scream “beachy” the way most tiare scents do, which I appreciate. I get so tired of smelling the same sweet sunscreen scents over and over. Don’t get me wrong, it does feel like a tropical floral because that’s what it is, and I love these types of flowers. Overall, excellent scent. I definitely think this one will be the most popular of the 3, but don’t skip out on the other 2!! My favorite collection to have come out in a long time.

Didn’t know I could fall this in love with such a floral scent. I love dewy, green, and this has that aspect for sure. But it’s delicate flowers, what I love about it is that it doesn’t overwhelm me. I don’t feel self conscious about the projection. It’s just light and sweet and very angelic and moon lit. On my skin the dry down is reminiscent of sweet tarts but in a very wonderful way. I just purchased a full size bottle. Someone mentioned a little bit of a green banana note and I definitely picked up on that too on my first wear.

To me, this feels like a beautiful, creamy, fluffy, daytime floral. It's feminine without being cloying or sweet. It's incredibly smooth and romantic. This is not your grandmothers floral...this is an addicting, "I can't stop sniffing my wrists and falling in love with myself" floral. Everyone absolutely needs a full-size bottle of this. I feel like it's the daytime version of Petra from Lattafa.

This is a work of art well deserving of its praise. It's dense, it's fleshy, and kind of dirty, in a sensual way. I agree with sheherazad's thoughts. A sexy, full-bodied yellow floral that illustrates a midnight stroll in a palace garden, surrounded by ethereal night-blooming flowers. Truly lives up to its name.

My first Heretic perfume, it is sexy, creamy and enchanting. To me the prominent notes are the Tiare Flower and Water Lily. It is truly a unique scent. I absolutely adore, cherish and love this perfume.

My recent order from Heretic was scented with Angel's Trumpet so I cannot comment on it from a wear perspective. What I can say is that it smells exactly like how I remember my copy of Pat the Bunny.

This is a beautiful, white, creamy, sweet, tuberose style floral, but I’ve smelled it many times before. It’s nice, but not worth the price point imo.
