Dirty Grapefruit Body & Hair Mist

It had to be some cosmic coincidence that this line launched right when I began looking for a topper for my everyday eau de parfum this summer! My everyday scent also has a grapefruit top note, a rose middle note, and a spicier base note, so I felt confident that this blind buy would be complimenting, and it did not disappoint! If you’re new to Heretic fragrances, with mostly pure botanical ingredients, they’re scent profiles are VERY true to life! If you don’t already love the scents of ACTUAL grapefruit and roses, then this may not be your jam. I do however, and feel it definitely helps refresh my eau de parfum in the afternoon and gives it a slightly more sultry boost. I'm also surprised by its longevity as a natural body mist. I gave myself a half spritz before bed (post shower), and this morning there was still some lingering, ‘close to the skin’, rose present. After another rinse and running a few errands in near 90 degree muggy heat, it’s still present in a very elegant, subtle way. Very impressive and very well balanced. This could easily be an autumn and winter fragrance as well. I will definitely keep this in my collection!

Crisp and inviting, perfect little topper of realistic grapefruit and spice. The rose and vetiver lingers. Also quite excellent for my mood, feels aromatherapeutic. I’ve been really impressed by how good Heretic *feels* - no headaches, in fact quite the opposite, seems to be able to wash away headaches and tension. Layers really well with Pistil Whip for a sultry fae vibe. Combined with Ex Nihilo Spiky Muse is like a jolt of caffeine before the gym.

Straight up dry peppery grapefruit with slight black tea. A nice accent to floral/clean scents.

Hyper relastic grapefruit! Linger's on clothes for a few hours. Dries down to a black-tea scent. I do not get any rose scent; to me, the grapefruit dominates everything as it is pretty strong. This is my go-to gym spray to lift up my spirits and keep smelling fresh. Pretty pricey though for a short-lived scent.

Not sure what the other reviewers are smelling, for me this is a very pleasant rose scent with a citrus top note. None of the bite you'd expect from grapefruit. Definitely a cozy floral with a brightness due to the citrus. Definitely would repurchase if I found it on sale again.
