Dirty Rose

Right away it has a sharp, almost boozy smell which intrigued me. It faded pretty quickly into a rose-heavy scent (well...of course) and took on a warmer, sultry tone. In a positive way, I kept imagining a sexy antique shop, if that exists. If you like rose, you’ll like this, but it isn’t a typical powdery, light experience. Longevity was about 2 hours with 1 spray on my wrist and 1 on my chest. I’ll wear it again for layering but I don’t like rose enough to buy a full bottle (as this was a sample from a discovery scent).

Very fresh realistic bright sparkly Rose, I also detected coriander in the mid phase. This is easy to wear and refreshing scent, not very long lasting, but it’s still nice.

Bright fizzy sprite and lush juicy roses, on a cedar side table. Phenomenal.

I realize that I have a tendency to perceive notes I dislike more prominently, so the issue here probably has less to do with this fragrance and more to do with my own preferences. I don’t like apricot in fragrances, and to my nose, apricot overwhelms the other notes in this composition. There's a heavy, sweet mustiness to apricot to which I don't respond well, and it's here in spades in the opening. The apricot eventually calms to a gentler, more velvety fruitiness, mixed with some nice coriander and rose, but that opening is rough going for me. This is a quality fruity floral for those who aren't necessarily lovers of rose. I prefer Heretic's "Flower Porn," which is more of the deep, spicy rose that I gravitate towards. Their "Dirty Fig" is also a decent fruity-rose. "Dirty Rose" I file under “nice enough".

I think this would be a very enchanting scent, if I liked rose. It opens with a strong realistic and juicy rose, settles a little with a dark woodiness. For me the rose scent is strong and overpowering and just never settles down. It is a nice smell, much too strong for my taste. I perceive rose as an old fashioned scent but this one feels like it's trying to be more modern. I like it enough that I want to explore the other "dirty" scents by Heratic, in hopes of getting the same vibe without the rose. Revisit Edit: I have completely changed my mind about this one and now own a full sized bottle. yes, it's rose, but it's sharp and if your over spray it's down right skanky. And I love it. It's rebellious woman smell.

on the fence with this it opens harsh and sour and the sourness on skin smells like body odour and like someone it’s trying to cover up sweat with rose perfume i think if layered with an aldehyde rich fragrance it could make it more clean but heretic likes doing dirty scents so i assume it was intentional

Sharpness (like a little thorn!) Is present momentarily when just sprayed. Otherwise, a predominantly juicy, wet, fresh rose smell, accompanied by a bit of smudgey smoke. Really pretty, received several compliments when wearing it. Someone at a party told me that the house smelled like food and when I walked through it, I was like a welcome "breath of fresh air" to cut through the heavy food smells, so, also that.

Opening is harsh but somewhat clean, heavy on the rose. After dry down all I get is a sour berry/rose mash flavor sweet tart

This smells dirty, and antique. Like a grandma’s rose-scented douche (used).
