Doppelganger

I agree that this is very close to White Rice. So much so that I canceled my order for Doppelganger since I already own White Rice. It doesn't make sense to have both. I will add that there's an extra plasticy smell to this that I love and hate. I love it because it gives the fragrances that "not quite natural" feel that you'd expect from anything called Doppelganger. But it began to annoy me as the day wore on... like "what is that smell" kind of annoyance haha. Very successful execution of the concept but not full bottle worthy for me. I was going back and forth between getting a fb of this or The Veil and switched back to The Veil.

Very interesting niche scent, which falls in line with many of Heteric's products. At the top its very sterile almost like a doctors office, once things settle the musk and wood really present themselves. Its a cool scent, uncanny and eerie. I will continue to sit with this one and see if it grows on me, but as of now its not a favorite.

To me this smells almost exactly like White Rice by D’annam but without the starchiness and orris. Becomes slightly more woody on the dry down. It’s pretty alright :)

Seduced by the marketing and glowing reviews, but I had a visceral reaction to this I literally felt so nauseous, I think I have to throw in the towel with skin scents that smell like skin, something very evil was happening on my skin when I put it on

I'm so sad to say this, but like others. I found this to have a plastic note that is just absolutely vile. Conceptually I get it, but why is it the worst smelling scents that last the longest? First scent I have to say I REALLY hated from Heretic.
