Ektoplasma

This is in my top three Heretic fragrances of all time and I almost gave it away because I tested it on paper and not my skin. PUT IT ONNNN. When you spray it on a tester it smells like cough syrup!! BUT when it hits your skin it’s this magical soft bouquet with a twist: slightly wilted!!! And I LOOOOOOVE the smell of crunchy flowers! Give it a chance, it’s the only fragrance from the ghosts collection that isn’t sold out and I think perhaps a previous formulation skewed everyone’s opinion of this new delicious elixir of ghostly whimsy!

The opening smells like a wet sweater mixed with musk, with a strong powdery feel. In the middle notes, the ambergris comes through while the musk remains, becoming softer and quieter. The overall scent feels like background music—light and subtle. It’s there, but not very strong or attention-grabbing.

2026 edition is very eery, almost indescribable. It’s sweet, minty cold, herbal, floral, dusty. Almost like a giant glass vase sitting in the fridge filled with premature flowers, sugar water and cold vegetables but in a pleasant, feminine way? It’s definitely very unique, I’ve never smelled anything like this before..

More wet raspberry cotton candy than ghost. Fun at first, but the sugar stays so dense it becomes cloying.

This has ISO e Super & a ton of other synthetic ingredients. They’re marketing it as 95% natural. Is that because of the alcohol (organic)? It may be “clean” with no phthalates, no animal testing (all good) but it’s not a natural perfume imo.
