Slut for October

Hate the scent, love the artwork. Will keep just to have in my collection but can’t even imagine how to layer an “apple smoked bacon “ (as someone else said) scent. Still, love how it looks in my collection.

When I apply it, I definitely smell the smoke and hay; like very dry hay that's been set on fire. For some reason it's also giving smoked bacon. After a few minutes, there's a very slight sour sweetness which I assume is the apple note. It's not super 'in your face' and the projection and sillage are definitely weak. It's a very 'close on the skin' scent and I don't think it will last very long. Overall I like it; it's a unique weird scent for autumn and I think it will be nice for laying with other woodsy scents or maybe even a sweeter scent! If you're in the market for a fun and weird fall scent, definitely give ir t a try! 3.5/5 because I think this one is for particular tastes only, and it doesn't last too long. (After typing this, a minute or 5-ish only, it's already getting weaker in my opinion but I know that's often the case for roller ball perfumes) (Would give it in between Like and OK for a rating) EDIT: The more I try it, the less I like it... would say 2.5-2/5 tbh

I fell hard for the description and marketing— October in New England is pure magic. I was hoping for burning fruitwood, toasted grass, and moss, as the notes suggest. All I get is smoke and apple, separately, nothing green, aromatic, or medicinal. Liquid smoke, sharpie, and apple lipgloss. Yuck. Is Heretic’s QC that bad? I’ve blind bought a number of fragrances from them and I’m kind of surprised at how awful this is. I’ll try layering it with some other stuff, and will report back. ETA: This stuff needs a couple minutes to settle on the skin. The smoke dissipates and gives way to something more pleasant. Nonetheless, it’s so horrendous initially I don’t think I will ever use it. Fool me once, Heretic!

I just received it and did a little sample. It was giving overflowing ashtray, left in the rain and then baked in hot sun with a strong Carmex smell

NICE LEGS.... SHAME ABOUT THE FACE Oh Dear... well, the Art work is fabulous and certainly deserves a much better scent... if you want to smell of bacon grilled on an apple wood smoked chipped grill, theb by all means, fill your shopping cart.
