Spectral Grace

I love this scent, it's not an every day wear but for the right occasion it's so lovely. It smells very nostalgic to me, like an empty forgotten storage room with old candles, clothes etc. Very fresh, antique and light with the white florals, but then grounded with smokey, damp wooden notes. I really loved how the scent wore throughout the day - the floral notes seems to come and go, never fully fading but shifting to allow the wood to take lead. Heteric continues to impress me with these unique novelty scents. I love their work.

An absolutely Lynchian release! Old Hollywood glamor and mystery. Soft Lily of the Valley at a Hollywood Hills estate sale. Something clean and old-fashioned, something dry, dusty and near forgotten. So chic.

I tried this as part of the sample set and ranked it third after The Veil and Doppelganger. Some other reviews Ive read describe it as Nosferatu's little sister and I would agree. I DO NOT like petrichor and this has a noticeable petrichor note that kept me from loving Spectral Grace the way I wanted. Its not as heavy and dank as Nosferatu thankfully but it still has that soggy wet quality. I would get a travel size or large sample of this. Maybe. But wouldn't want more than that.

something in this smells very similar to Nosferatu to me, especially in the opening. That walking up a staircase of damp stone with moss and vines growing on it vibe. It's much more floral though, with the lily of the valley featured prominently. A very romantic, vintage scent; my favorite in the ghosts series.
