24 Faubourg Eau de Parfum Edition Numero 24

Oh how silly silly silly I am- it’s so stupid of me!:-)) to have just discovered a real jewel of white flowers, true seductress and timeless femininity in the bottle. I guess we all know the feeling - you travel the world, dig deep and fly high and low (translating in fragrantica language - you research niche, alternative, vintages and luxury - pay crazy money for seemingly unique fragrance just to find out that the real jewel in class and quality is same old same old, and in front of your nose , and at a reasonable price. In fact - it has always been there just patiently waiting to be noticed, that is Hermes 24 Fabourgh (EDP or EDT). Hahaha: it took me Le Labo Lys 41, Amouage, Anais Anais, Kenzo Black Panther, Roja Dove Lylli, Annick Goutal Songes, Tom Ford (Rouge Jasmine) and Acqua di Parma (Jasmine Nobile), etc. - all just to find the one that has it all. Well, better later than never - the search for perfect white flowers is finished for me! I do not need to look any further. Thank you lovely sales assistant in London central department store who, while our discussion about the best aldehydes (Piguet vs Chanel vs Hermes), directed me to Hermes to check Caleche. That is where I found my elegant aldehydes perfume (Caleche Soi de Parfum) and THE best white floral Hermes 24 Fabourgh. Btw, for the ones who think that if the perfume comes from 1970s it’s too old to be worn by a modern muse - that’s wrong. Classics is always classics and sexy is always sexy, just don’t overspray it - this is a potent and a long lasting fragrance, which evokes an equally potent and longing lasting adoration from the ones around you😉😉

Could anyone tell me if there is any difference to the original 24 Faubourgh EDP? It confuses me that they both list exactly the same notes, but the original is not retracted from stores. The bottle is slightly different, but otherwise i'm not able to detect the difference. I'm a newbie in the universe of parfumery, and even more so when it comes to chypres. However i really like this perfume - and the original obviously, since they smell more or less the same to my rather unexperienced and untrained nose. Anyone, please assist this humble though eager-to-learn parfumista! Eternal gratitude!!

At first this reminded me of Chanel 19 though 24's opening is more balanced and not as loud as 19 needs time to settle. On my skin the iris in both is very prominant. I get big floral with mild wood and still milder citrus in the main stage. I find both powdery, which I'm not usually a fan of, but I do like it in both of these; however, the 19 has the green difference also. I'll need to experiment more with this. I like this Hermes, but I find i like my Fan di Fendi more. Not that they're anything a like, just both pretty gold bottles : ) 24 definitely has wonderful longevity and sillage. If you like powdery florals, I think you'd enjoy this, but if your really looking for floral citrus, you may want to sniff elsewhere. I find the Orange intensive only in the first stage, not much citrus other than that or following. Of course, that may just be me. I'm curious to smell this on someone else's skin. I also think this could be unisex easily. Nice : )

This the same fragrance at the original. This also is like a sister to older formulations of Chanel Coco edp and parfum.
