Eau de Pamplemousse Rose

After sampling Eau de Pamplemousse Rose Concentrate, I found it to be a real robust aroma of real citrusy/grapefruit and touch rose scent !!!!! When I sprayed it on my skin, this frag is FANTASTIC.. WOW again W O W !!! I have never come across a frag that gave me such an AWESOME feeling like this frag did when I tried it for the first time. It usually takes few times before I buy any fragrance. I tried this frag in the morning during my break, not even two hours later I was already hooked so I bought it in a flash. I received so many compliments in those two hours, I knew this was an GREAT frag and that I would really enjoy using this frag everyday during the spring/summer !!!! I am amazed that it only has four notes: rose, grapefruit, lemon and oakmoss. As soon as I sprayed it on my skin, I get an enormous rush of grapefruit/lemon aroma which it is pleasant. The rose and oakmoss ( it is listed as one the ingredients) notes give it enough depth which stays on my skin well over 6-8 hours. I agree with another person that Hermes could sell this in gallons and it would be worth it ! longevity, 10++ on my skin beyond my expectation for a summer frag. Sillage is also excellent, you can smell it more then 4ft away. Overall opinion, Hermes fragrances are one of the finest quality products that exists in the market which is also well affordable. I own four frag's and I use them at least 3x a week with the wide range of other frag's that I also use. EDT DE PAMPLEMOUSSE ROES DE CONCENTRATE is stunning, and a excellent fragrance !!!!!!!!!!!!!....Bravo Hermes

I blind bought this. When I first tried it in the height of summer, perhaps I expected too much, and I was a little disappointed. The opening was really wonderful and refreshing and the notes worked so well together, and I liked it very much but it didn't seem to last at all on my skin, and seemed gone in a very short time. I decided that it was perhaps one of those fragrances which might be wonderful to spritz with after a shower but just wouldn't stay with me, and resigned myself to having made a slightly expensive mistake. Then....Eureka ! I had just been too timid with the usual number of sprays on arms and neck when I first tried it. However, when i used it more as a body spray, with perhaps six or seven sprays on upper body and arms, it was amazing, and lasted and lasted for many hours even in the high heat. Citrus fresh and subtly sweet, 'well mannered' with modest sillage. Truly unisex. Through the day I kept smiling as I got a whiff of it, and all those who smelt it were positive. And the same happened when I used it in the same way subsequently Definitely more for spring and summer, but it is now definitely one of my fragrances for warm weather.

This little guy was my very first fragrance lol. I vividly remember it was 2012-2013 and I never in my life used fragrances and had no idea where to even begin. At the time I was really into indie subcultures and browsed 4chan's /fa/ board where I would always notice a recurring thread about fragrances. I owe my entire fragrance hobby to that random OP that randomly had a chart of his recent hauls and he praised this green bottle to high heavens. Through pure destiny, Sephora had that same green bottle on display, and after testing it, I was in love. The magic of fragrances is how much of an effective time machine they are, and one whiff of Pamplemousse Rose, I'm immediately transported to the indie/college campus life of 2012-2014 and all the tender nostalgia that accompanies it. Only complaint that everyone rightfully mentions: This thing is SO SO SO SO SO short. I'm not kidding, I think it lasts 30 minutes and that's being generous. A byproduct of that is you'll be spraying it numerous times, and by the end of the year, the bottle is almost empty. The scent is so incredible and nostalgically idiosyncratic, I'm willing to tolerate that enormous flaw.

I'm reviewing the EDT (Concentre), which comes in the frosted glass bottle. I don't have a lot to say about this that hasn't been covered by others. Very realistic grapefruit smell on the initial spray, like peeling a fresh piece of citrus. This gives way, over time, to a lovely rose note. I'm not normally a big fan of the heavy, dark rose as it is traditionally found in a lot of fragrances (eg. TF Noir de Noir); This is light, and very much smells like a fresh cut rose. It's a very cheerful, bright scent. Projection is pretty restrained, but the EDT lasts longer than the EDC by about double for me. Given that it is almost exclusively citrus and florals, I don't mind this being the sort of scent that exists on the fringe of my senses. I tend more towards deep heavy woods, but this is a good scent for summer or a post-workout shower, I'd definitely prefer this over the typical sport scent. If you buy it online, it can be found at pretty reasonable prices. Scent: 9/10 Sillage: 6/10 Longevity: 6/10 Price: 7/10 Overall: 7.5/10

It's funny how this line of Hermes mostly smells very similar. When I put this on or Concentre D'Orange Verte, Eau D'Orange Verte, and Eau de Cologne Hermes all has the same underlining smell. They all are citrusy at varying degrees of citrus or type of citrus. I do enjoy them all. The only way I can make out the differences is to spray them all on individual papers and sniff. There is quite differences in them. This I can smell rose which none of the others has. It's funny that the grapefruit is sooo overpowering that it's the only thing I smell most of the time.... but then once in a while the rose comes out to play. I would be driving in the car and think to myself... where is this nice rose scent coming from and then eureka... it's the pamplemousse rose. The only bad thing about this line of Hermes is that it's a cologne which means no lasting power at all.

Unisex, for me. I layer it with Tea Rose when I want a prettier, more floral scent. I can wear this year round but it's especially nice in the summer. Surely citrus & rose are not the only notes? I get something earthy & warm that reminds me of a tack room on a summer day. Maybe leather or some type of grass? Which is why I immediately had to buy it instead of the Hermes Voyage I had in hand to buy when the sales person handed me a sample strip. I smelled it and stated, "Smells like horse, but in a good way." I know, bizarre. But it's not a bad thing. Fellow equestrians and horse lovers will know what I speak of when they smell this. I feel like I can wear this out after leaving the barn and not smelling like a barn. I really wish Hermes would list the notes in their scents.

I have just tested the cologne version of this. Beautiful non-gourmand grapefruit. It is perfumey rather than "juicy mouthwatering" but without being artificial. I could see myself wearing this for a business meeting in hot summery temperatures. It is a unique cologne and does what a cologne should do. I would not expect monster longevity from this type of scent, however the spray on my hand is still noticeable even after washing my hands a few times. Maybe it will disappear faster on a hot day though, which is not a problem if you are willing to reapply every now and then. Last time I used cologne or "colonia" was when living in Spain and I did not like the typical (budget) cologne scents. This one here is the complete opposite: unique, classy and perfumey in a good way.

Eau de Pamplemousse Rose! Such a gorgeous name! And I love the perfume, and also the fabulous colour. It's divine. The perfume's lovely. Grapefruit. Beautiful. It's a truly delicious grapefruit. Very natural, juicy and fresh. Mmmm. It stays for an hour, then becomes slightly more orange, which is still nice, in a milder, sweeter way, and then slowly, I start to detect a lovely lovely rose, which gradually gets stronger, over about another hour. It stays like that for a while, then changes to smelling greener and a bit spicy. It's really beautiful. Altogether the lovely perfume lasts for about 4 hours, which I don't mind at all, because I love re-spraying, and going through it's lovely stages again, and again. I love it. It's beautiful.

Ahh, the confusion that seems to surround Hermès Pamplemousse Rose! I just read a recent review in which the seemingly esteemed reviewer exhibited no knowledge that there are two versions of this fragrance. throughout the article she referred to the "Concentre" version as an eau de cologne rather than the accurate eau de toilette. IMO, the addition of vetiver to the concentrated EDT version makes them two entirely different fragrances. In the EDC, the rose shines through. You get grapefruit and rose. That's it. To my nose, the EDT is much greener and more masculine, and the rose is undetectable. I prefer the cologne. It lasts for several hours on me and it's a much softer scent. Spritz some on your clothes and it will last all day.

This fragrance is absolutely delightful for summer. The opening is a burst of very realistic grapefruit. Delicious, bittersweet, fresh, and juicy. Dries down quickly to more of a bitter orange peel than juice of the grapefruit. The pretty rose note is very light and adds a nice sweet floral touch but overall this is more of a citrus fragrance. Not strong but actually surprisingly lasts quite well despite not containing any traditional base notes and for being a citrus based cologne. Pamplemousse Rose is unisex and fantastic for hot weather. I took it with me to Puerto Rico, where as you can imagine the weather is always sweltering and humid. Spraying this cologne had me refreshed during my vacation. Highly recommend trying it.

Jean-Claude Ellena described it as "A bitter-sweet cologne: freedom in tradition." But for me it's citrus-sweet. The freshness of the citrus fruit is lively and tasty. The freshness make it perfect for a stroll down a pier on a nice day (no hotter than 23 degrees) in white tshirt and stone wash jeans. The zesty falvour of grapefruit takes on a whole new level. But I guess all good things must come to an end and some far too sooner than others! Sillage - 5/10 Longevity - 4/10 Scent - 7/10 I literally have to take this bottle out with me when rocking this theme for reasons that are two fold 1. The scent does not last as long as I would like. 2. The top notes are far too intoxicating to leg go so the top is well worth it.

I tried this at the duty free and loved it instantly. I love the depth of this scent. Contrary to most, its the orange not the grapefruit that I get initially. To me it smells of a sweet and sour orange (grapefruit?) with rose weaving thru, all atop the oakmoss that is not mentioned in the notes. The oakmoss seems to give an immpression of moistness. It is pricey and the sillage is not the best but this stayed with me for hours, however, I usually don't apply perfume to my skin outside of testing the fragrance unless it is a natural fragrance. So maybe this is why my experience of longevity was fine. For me this is pure pleasure and indulgence.

A classic and straightforward grapefruit/rose frag that is well-executed in the inimitable Jean-Claude Ellena style. Yes, it is fresh -- like a summer drink to be had at the height of the noonday sun. Yet somehow -- despite this evanescent style/ this fizzy frothy top, it darkens and becomes spicier -- an incredible rose note appears -- dewy, dank, dark red intense and indeed beautiful! As if, having just sipped your lemonade -- you find yourself in a field of dark red roses -- its bouquet headily wafting in the breeze! So though configured to refresh in the classic eau de cologne style, this one intrigues, beckons, and beguiles! Recommended!

A very subtle and exquisite blend of grapefruit and rose. It's definitely a step ahead of Ellena's Eau Parfumee au the vert (PR is less sweet, less flowery, more unisex) and Un Jardin sur Nil (in PR the citrus note is less sharp and the composition is much better blended). I've been long trying to find a citrus cologne that wouldn't make me sneezing because of extreme sharpness of this family, would have decent longevity, and would manage to stay true to the opening notes. This one fills the bill. My favourite cologne so far.

First you get a huge spray of grapefruit juice - zesty and fresh. When it dries down, the bubbly rose emerges, and the combination is sheer bliss. A great summer fragrance (I think it'll give a fair fight to my Mandarine Basilic by Guerlain), perfumy but light enough for hot days. This is a happy, happy fragrance, IMO mainly made for daytime use. Longevity is quite good for a citric scent and sillage is good as well.

Such a great fresh grapefruit smell for the first hour or so. Then becomes a nice clean, soft rose musk. I want to keep spraying this to continue that initial smell! Unisex for sure, both my husband and I like. It lasts no more than 2 hours on him, perhaps a bit longer on me. Still want a bigger size of this than my little sample. Will try the concentre in hopes it will last longer.

I wish cardamom was in the pyramid - its super prominent and last longer than the grapefruit note imo. Fresh grassy citrus with a little soapyness at the drydown and a very realistic green cardamom note throughout. I do pick up orange too in the first 5 minutes. Really nice but so fleating.

This one might just be my favourite from Hermès' basic set. The citrus is so photorealistic and fresh that only Terre d'Hermès Eau Très Fraîche and Eau Givrée can outperform. I'm really fond of citrus scents from this brand. Longevity is not good, but again, what do you expect? It's citrus!

So refreshing and beautiful. Elegant red rose under clean, fresh pamplemousse (grapefruit). There is no dimension along which this could be better. Even the lightness is a gift; it lasts, but subtle. Never overwhelming, summer and night and work and whenever you need to feel better.

I've worn this a few times on skin, I don't smell the rose but the grapefruit/pamplemousse opening is wonderful. To my nose the middle and base are vetiver done Very Well. I am disappointed that I don't smell more rose in the fragrance but I still think this is a great fragrance.

Fabulous! Opens with a sharp burst of grapefruit, then settles into a soft rosy citrus, reminiscent of palmarosa with a slight musky note at the end. Like cutting into a grapefruit on a summer morning with the scent of a rosebush drifting in through a window.

This was the scent of my early youth - that is, it was poetic, delicious, but as ephemeral as a champagne-fueled evening in Paris. A scent that beckons to soft, sweaty skin sticky with gin and juice - as decadent as it is delicate.

Bright, citrusy bitter, refreshing scent. I don't get rose per se, but it has a floral element in the background. Very elegant and uplifting...but very weak sillage and longevity. Scent: 8.5 / 10. Longevity: 4 / 10.

I wish this scent would last longer on my skin, but on the other hand, I don’t mind adding more and more-because the opening is so wonderful! I think colognes are designed for regular refeshement during the day :)

oh my daze - I love Jean Claude Ellena Hermes Colognes line ... i haven ́t had any better cologne than this .. love it ... so round, pleasant, uplifting and fizzy ..... what else to say: it ́s simply Hermes!!

Perfect cologne! It opens with a bitter grapefruit, soft, but not sweet or sugary. And the rose in the middle note is wonderful, white, fresh morning rose with dew on it. Very nice fragance for summer.

it's really another typical and great JCE perfume. the very fresh grapefruit note immediately clean my mind. i want to deep and deep smell the lovely fragrance. I definitely want a big bottle!

I love this scent. It is a beautiful and ephemeral composition. It's too bad that like many other citrus dominant fragrances that it only lasts about an hour.

elegant and strong at the same time! now hermes have launched "concentrè de pamplemousse rose", that's an eau de toilette, but there isn't yet on this site

Lovely,a happy summer perfume that makes me think of happy hot days wearing pretty floatly summer dresses.

One of my favorites... light, citrusy, with a fresh sweetness that doesn't overpower.

I received a sample of Eau de Pamplemousse Rose along with my most recent purchase of Un Jardin Après La Mousson and I was instantly reminded of one of my Dad's perfumes which I really loved, so I immediately took a liking to this. Like many other Hermès perfumes, Eau de Pamplemousse Rose is a modest, unassuming and earthy scent. To be honest, it reminds me of the Un Jardin collection a lot. It's like watercolour painting in a bottle: soft, airy and almost...glacial in the way that it's such a cool air to it. Opening is rather harsh and bitter with loud citrusy notes but it quickly changes into something really, really fresh and cooling. Can't really smell the roses though, unless you sniff hard enough. Anyway, if you want to keep smelling this you'd better spray it near your neck pulse points or even on your hair. Longevity and sillage, as mentioned copiously before by others here, are rather awful but I kinda like how it's such a soft and, dare I say, shy scent. It's not for everyone--if you like bold, flashy perfumes you'd fare much better with those from Chanel or YSL. I personally like it, but for the price I'd probably think twice or thrice before splurging on a bottle of this. Still, a very likeable perfume and if you're into citrus/Un Jardin series you'd probably find this as lovely as I do. Pity that they don't make this stronger because if they do, I believe there'd be a lot more people who'd willingly get this one. Rating: 8.5/10 EDIT: Got myself the Concentré (EDT) version of this and it doesn't disappoint! Stronger grapefruit smell with very delectable drydown. If you like this but can't stand the strength of the EDC, do yourself a favour and try the EDT version. You won't regret it.

I have been looking forward to trying this, and had a chance to do so today. Grapefruit is one of my favourite citrus notes, and I was not disappointed in that respect. The top grapefruit note in Eau de Pamplemousse Rose is really good, natural, fresh and, for lack of a better word, sparkling. Definitely mood-uplifting. It doesn't last all that long, mind you. Or rather, it does not disappear but is joined by other citrus and loses its sparkle. I get orange, or perhaps mandarine with its mild sweetness. On a paper strip at least, these notes have a very decent longevity, and end up mixing with a strong rose note. The rose is a gorgeous full-bloom type, but then becomes spicier and greener. At this point, it gets difficult to identify individual notes. I imagine that's the effect of the rhubofix (woody/spicy/floral/fruity mix) which obviously I have never smelled. Whatever it is, green and, to a lesser extent, fruity notes add a touch of sharpness to the heart. I don't get any woody notes. After a few hours, the rose starts to subside, and lingers discretely on what seems to be a predominently green base. I like Eau de Pamplemousse Rose, but I would like it even more if the top grapefruit note lasted a bit longer. Still, it's a fun, uplifting eau de cologne with a difference...

Like getting a rare smile out of a famously grumpy friend: this shows the sweeter side of an often acerbic character. Lovely, photo-realistic juicy grapefruit which at first gives you a sharp enough smack in the nose to really wake you up and freshen up your ideas. This beautiful opening does fade, but it doesn't morph into some whole other thing - the mood is consistent throughout. It tends towards the prettier rather than the butch-er side of citrus (Miller Harris Le Pamplemousse, for instance, is a much rougher and more persistent beast than this, but it does that by having a huge bang of oakmoss to it, which the Hermes doesn't) - but it's still a true unisex. The only thing you need to enjoy this one is a nose and a sense of fun. I only tried the EDC so wasn't surprised that it died away almost completely in 2-3h, but it is really lovely. Personally I didn't even twig that the more fragrant, floral element in this was rose - which for me is a plus - it's blended well and doesn't steal the show from the main ingredient. Will definitely seek out the concentree version instead if buying any more, but on the aesthetic side at least, this is a winner. Love the way it smells, just wished it smelled *more* like that for longer!

A bright juicy genuine grapefruit opening softened by faint floral top notes that are strong for around two hours before dramatically drying down to a more subdued orange/floral/wood. After about four hours, the effect is strictly next-to-skin. One could see this initial burst and drydown as a problem, or you could do what I do: acquire this specifically as an office scent. The citrus helps me stay fresh and alert in the morning, and the limited projection and short life of the more assertive scents help to keep the people in cubicles around me un-invaded by my olfactory tastes. Yet, even after several hours, a fresh set of vapors will make their way to my nose to give me a taste of the nice citrus/woods drydown. I use one spray on the upper chest and a small spray on each wrist. Spraying on my neck results in excessive early projection followed by vanishing after an hour or two. This is a scent that may want to go on places that won't vaporize it in as much of a hurry as with other more durable scents. By the time I get home, most traces are gone, and I can assume my evening scent (He Wood Rocky Mountain Wood).

A sparkling, light but short-lived grapefruit eau de cologne. It's put a smile on my face on a cold January day. It's fairly simple. I get 30 minutes of grapefruit, sunny, fresh, neither sharp nor sour, but without too much sweetness either and reminding me of the citrus in Terre . I feel I can pick up accents of petitgrain as it dries down and maybe a smidgen of neroli for lift (I think these contribute in part to Hermès's orange accord but I'm just guessing). And there, hovering spectrally in the background, a trace of Terre ’s pale woods. If this was launched as an EdC flanker in the Terre line I don’t think we would bat an eyelid. Overall Eau de Pamplemousse Rose has the typical qualities of the Hermès house and Jean-Claude Ellena: it's unmuddled, pin-sharp and refreshing and all about the top notes. But wearing it in winter I didn't get more than an hour's projection and another 30 minutes of skin scent, so performance will be even briefer in summer. Expect to reapply (invest in the 4 x travel size gift set!) or spray on clothing. Happy and uplifting for when you need a little citrus boost.

Eau de Pamplemousse Rose is another simple yet effective cologne from Hermès, this time featuring grapefruit as its focal note. Grapefruit is one of my favourite citrus notes, perhaps second only to photorealistic, sunny orange. It is also the most difficult citrus note to get right in perfumery. Grapefruit dominates the opening, juicy, radiant and realistic. It is quite light and delicate however; the grapefruit note in Zara x Jo Malone Vetiver Pamplemousse for example, is richer, despite its fleeting performance. Some orange complements the grapefruit here nicely, emerging after a little while. It becomes rosy as it develops, in a similar way to Eau de Rhubarbe Ecarlate, another of Hermès' « Eaux ». The rose is very light and dewy. It fades fairly quickly. Sillage is intimate and longevity weak. EdPR is typical of Jean-Claude Ellena's trademark light touch - it is a fleeting, barely-there citrus cologne. Perfectly unisex, this is made for hot weather. Nice, but the performance is lacking for the price. For this reason, I would go for Vetiver Pamplemousse instead. 3/5.

Phenomenal opening if you like grapefruit...it is fantastic...but the grapefruit disappears pretty quickly and it settles into nearly the same citrus scent I end up with from all of the Hermes colognes from this line in the green bottle. They all smell so similar after 5-10 minutes that it is hard for me to even distinguish one from the next. I think this is what disappoints me with these. They start on a very high note then I end up with the same thing as before from another green bottle. They just all end up smelling like a mixed citrus vetiver on me no matter which one I put on. But it is a very pleasant scent that I enjoy, it is just strange to me to have an entire line that smells almost exactly the same after 5 minutes. This needs to be applied to your hair and clothes if you want to still smell it at all after an hour. My skin just drinks up this cologne pretty quickly.

Eau de pamplemousse rose starts with a great, realistic grapefruit opening that lasts for all of 10 minutes. At this stage it's juicy and bitter, but not too extravagant; lovely! After that, woody notes start to dominate on my skin, as they usually do for me. They're not listed here, but I don't smell much else at this point. If I try really hard, I can imagine I smell some rose in there, but I'm not sure. It's not a bad scent by any means; a pleasant, subtle, woody type of fragrance with some citrus lingering in the background. This phase doesn't last very long either, and then it's gone. I was hoping for something with a bit more kick and a lot more grapefruit, so this isn't the one for me. I'll retry it later, maybe it works better on a very hot day, or when I'm experienced enough to start craving very subtle perfumes.

Pamplemousse Rose is a delightful perfume, a lovely piece of perfumery by Jean-Claude Ellena. It sits very well in the Hermes Colognes and Eaux. It is a simple trio of grapefruit, rose and orange, in that order of prominence. It's lovely and refreshing and I find it lasts about four hours on my skin. The projection is fairly minimal and it is a skin scent after twenty minutes or so. I'd say it's suitable for spring, summer and autumn and day time. I like it but I won't have another bottle as long as Hermes produce Eau d'Orange Verte, Concentre d'Orange Verte, Un Jardin Sur Le Nil, and Un Jardin Sur Le Mediteranee because I like them more and they all do the same sort of thing but I prefer them. However, I would certainly recommend the perfume.

Hermes needs to sell this by the gallon, because if this is your thing you'll be using a lot of it. The grapefruit (pamplemousse - I had to look it up) lasts, oh, about a minute or two. Then it's gone. (It's a wonderful smelling grapefruit, however - not at all synthetic.) I do believe this is a new evaporation speed record for any scent I've tried. The rosy scent lingers for an hour or two, then that's gone, too. Time for more! I like this stuff - it's one of the few florals I can stand smelling on myself - but, wow, longevity is awful. I ought to time this and 4711, Guerlain's Eau de Cologne Imperiale and Hermes Eau d'Orange Verte to see which one disappears the most quickly.

Nice & Classy smooth citrus scent that i can't stop smelling myself after spray but OMG it's almost gone in 30 mins. It's light & fresh & liveliness which i really love but too poor longevity. I can't feel rose but feel over-standard citrus. I think it has more notes than just citrus & rose, possible vetiver. I need to bring handed decant to top up during the day when it's gone. By the way, the price maybe not worth for this fast gone scent but i need to accept that the scent is really good. They can put this fragrance into their Jardin line. If you love Terre d'Hermes & Eau de Orange d'Verte, you will love this scent. Another safe but extraordinary scent.

This is so soft, so light that once sprayed you might forget you are wearing it! Grapefruit and rose blend so well in it's simple yet perfect combination. Jean-Claude Ellena loves citrus notes... And I have to say that few other perfumers know how to make them shine like he does! OK, it may be a skin scent, but it's wonderful. Grapefruit in general tends to be bitter, however in here, it's sweet! Not sugary sweet, but rather naturally sweet... It's confusing but I think that the addition of the rose broke down the bitterness of the grapefruit. Sure it does not stay long, but it's not that weak... You get a nice 3 hours from it and maybe more! 7.5/10

A true minimalist, natural scent of rose & citrus with cardamom spiciness reminiscent of Terre de Hermes vetiver. It is very nice & light comfortable wear. In fact, it's too light to pay ~$80 for such scent. It performs like a $10 fragrance! It smells & feels like a release by those "natural cosmetics" houses like Yves Rocher, The Body Shop, L'Occitane, Bath & Body Works...etc. Unless you reaaally love it or just like it that light, I wouldn't recommend spending your money on this. I've never tried Yves Rocher's Cyprès et Pamplemousse but per the ratings it smells similar. Try that & see if you can save yourself some money.

A Dickensonian fragrance in my opinion: the best of times and worst of times! I absolutely ADORE this scent, a gorgeous fragrance with an amazing balance of grapefruit and rose! However, the projection and longevity, at least for me, are absolutely dismal. The longevity and sillage did not even improve much when I sprayed my hair and clothes. I rated this a "Like" as I love Hermes and particularly this scent but wish I had read reviews before purchasing as the price point is high for this level of performance. BEAUTIFUL fragrance but ultimately disappointing to me.

I just bought a tiny travel sized spray of this EDC today and I'm not surprised that it smells amazing (its Jean-Claude Ellena of course!) Can't be better for a lovely but still chill-in-the-wind spring. A beautiful balance between energetic and enthusiastic citrus notes and those soft, round roses. I can smell more of the citrus peel instead of the actual fruit, which is actually better since I prefer bitter fruity or leafy notes like fig leaves and grapefruit peels. However as others have said, this Cologne is very short-lived, about 30min on my wrist.

I love grapefruit in fragrances (and in real life). This fragrance is grapefruit dominant for sure. I don't smell rose whatsoever. After a few minutes, the grapefruit turns somewhat ashy to my disappointment. Despite that, I purchased it and I will keep it. The longevity is subpar as well, it lasts at most one hour - the kind of perfume you bring with you on a really hot day when you're on a terrasse and you want to freshen up without suffocating everyone who's already sweating bullets in extreme heat and sun.

It is a female leaning unisex. Very refreshing! Perfect for summer like this entire line. I own this one and Mandarin Ambre and they are perfect for the highest heat. I also love Concente d'Orange Verde but each Ellena ia perfect. This is a pink graperfruit but without being obvious with soft orange polishing the edges and fresh rose being a canvas. So so refreshing, like a citrus lemonade by the forest stream with your feet in the water. I feel it on for 8 hours, 5 of which with sillage.

Grapefruit rarely works well on me but, tempered with the sweet rose this cuts just the right balance. It's both uplifting and comforting. Weak with soft silage, EdPR has a brief journey, but I enjoy it for what it is. If the bottle weren't so heavy I'd carry it in my bag for periodic top ups. As it is, I rarely wear it to work as I know within a couple of hours I'll need to refresh. However, it is a very beautiful unisex fragrance and one I really should showcase more regularly.

This is a simple, fresh-citrusy scent with a tiny rose for warm weather, daytime, with low moderate longevity of about 3.5 hours and soft sillage. It opens with very fresh citruses and then comes a light and fresh rose. Overall the vibe is similar to Les Parfums de Rosine Rosissimo which smells much better, is more natural and has much stronger performance. If you like Pamplemousse Rose, try the Rosine Rosissimo because it's much better in everything.
