H24

(Comparison of the EdT, EdP, and Herbes Vives) Hermes has a bit of an ego when it comes to their flagship masculine perfumes. They style themselves as trendsetters for the market, and have done going all the way back to Eau de Hermes and Equipage, of which there was nearly two decades between them. That’s another mark of Hermes’ approach to their flagship masculines: they take their sweet time. They blew the masculine perfume world apart at the start of this century with Terre d’Hermes, and in general because of JCE’s other achievements with the Hermessence and Jardin lines, and now they feel bold and it high time to have another go. Did they disrupt the masculine perfume world yet again with H24? Well the feedback certainly seems to suggest so, mostly in how divisive and confused many seem to be. So let’s try to clear some of that up at least. The EdT has a hesperidic and floral opening that is completely translucent, as if you are smelling fruits and flowers that are crystal clear. It’s lemony, green herbal, noticeably ozonic, and those greens you pull are no less what is aiming to be narcissus, which is made evident via the heady and honeyed aromas. Into the heart, thanks to the “narcissus”, the sage-not-quite-sage note comes across as sweetened, but this is all likely an effect of this touted sci fi material the brand is certainly not shy of mentioning, sclarene. It is herbal, it is wet, it is sweet, but it has this “incomplete” feeling that makes you think that, again like I mentioned a second ago, that the sage is nearly crystal clear. Glassy with a green tint. The EdP opens with the same cast of characters but is more fruity, more floral, and noticeably but not terribly sweeter as a result. Everything in the EdP is just more, and definitely denser - particularly the narcissus/sclarene material(s) with its heady honey doing a large amount of the lifting for the sweet quality. Of the three, Herbes Vives has more on offer with an opening of watery but rather photorealistic pear, ozonics, and the same cool herbs but made greener, more vegetal, and sharper thanks to a galbanum edge. Needle sharp aldehydes also briefly present themselves here. The heady and honey characteristics of the narcissus are placed a good distance in the background. The heart of the Herbes Vives is drier, somewhere between the EdT and the EdP but more towards the EdT. It will seem drier than this because of the sharper green edges. The narcissus is still there, as is the sclarene, but now we have the addition of Physcool used to provide a cooling effect without clobbering you with a mint note, and it works: the tactile sensation of the perfume on my skin is not “cooling”, but it does have the effect of smelling cool while it works its way through my nose and palate. Neat trick. The EdT ends with a big slug of evernyl that has a damp, only slightly woody, moss-not-moss aroma. The EdP goes heavily dark woody thanks to a dense and slightly sweet rosewood. This is significantly drier than the opening and heart layers. The evernyl is still present but put much further backstage. Herbes Vives errs towards the EdT with a focus on the green mossy qualities but the brighter greens of earlier layers continue to hold on until the end, having this effect of removing all woody aspects before shifting to a green-only piquant and salty vetiver. Note descriptions of all three H24s are necessary and helpful, sure, but this line is equally about texture as they are aroma, to my nose. Particularly in the EdT, there is quite a bit of “Jean Claude Ellena” in its transparency, and light weight lucidity - perhaps a Hermes mandate given how much his signature style drove sales at Hermes counters - but Nagel still sneaks her unmistakable signature on the bottom line. She has this remarkable stylistic ability to texturally evoke glass or cling film - transparent, light, and undistorted but nonetheless impenetrable, like you are kept from truly “getting your nose” into the material and you must observe from a distance. It greatly helps to execute the mandate of a composition meant to blend the natural and the technological very well. The EdP makes it more obvious how Hermes intended to push the boundaries of mainstream masculine perfumes with H24, as this is likely going to be quite challenging for the general consumer. JCE’s stylistic legacy is less apparent in the EdP, and Nagel’s signature is bolder. If the EdT has a glass-like/cling-film-like impenetrability, the EdP is bullet proof glass. It is thick. With Herbes Vives it is more like the EdT, but it’s also with Herbes Vives where the overlap between the three H24s and some of the Jardin line is more obvious and noticeable. Some of the same materials from the Jardin line are used across the H24 line, and, again it wouldn’t surprise me if part of the creative mandate for H24 was to take what made the JCE-era popular - many of those materials and JCE’s easy to wear, light weight, luminous, and transparent perfumes - and just... make them edgy. Push the envelope a bit. They certainly do. I find it unfortunate and unfair how much flack H24 has received. Maybe they pushed the envelope a bit too much too soon or too late. It’s one of Hermes’ best this century, only after Terre and Paddock in my opinion (I can feel the glare of eyes and the raised eyebrows from you Cuir d’Ange devotees, and I might acquiesce on that). Perhaps with more time H24 will find its large deserved devoted following when minds and tastes are better able to wrap around it. I own all three of these in full bottles due to lucking into them, but that is mostly redundant and not recommended for your wallet unless you are the rare bird that find themselves loving all three equally. To my nose Herbes Vives stands out the most by combining the best parts of the EdT and the EdP, giving them a big glinting green edge and adding the interesting pear opening and the Physcool. It seems it has more it wants to say, but that might not mean you want to hear it. So, trying all three before buying is highly advisable because all three are different from each other in polarizing ways, and just plain different and polarizing in general if that is not already obvious. Hermes achieved what they set out to do, and, at least, I’m thrilled to see they are recognizing and standing behind Nagel and H24 for the achievement, and willing to wait it out (thus far). Bravo. P.S. My partner cannot help but think of scorching-summer-hot seat belts from a vintage car when smelling H24, so even our mostly-unified household is divided.

H24 is one of those fragrances that grew on me over time. It’s fresh, aromatic, modern, and has a subtle metallic edge that I actually enjoy. The metallic and slightly synthetic side is what originally put me off when I first tried it years ago. As someone who really enjoys many Hermès fragrances, including the entire Terre d’Hermès line and some of their older scents based os specific notes, such as "citron" or "orange vert" scents, I always take a moment to explore their stand whenever I’m in duty-free shops or malls. Over the years, I tried H24 a few times but never felt compelled to buy it. For some reason, recently, something struck me differently, and I decided to get a bottle for myself. I’m not disappointed. For someone like me, who tends to enjoy more traditional masculine, classy scents, H24 is a very welcome twist. It’s modern, yet still classy and very well put together. Even the slightly synthetic side, which used to detract me, now feels like a deliberate, modern touch without being harsh, overwhelming, or headache-inducing, unlike many other synthetic fragrances out there. Another thing I really like about H24 is how unique it feels. In a time when many fragrances are lookalikes, inspired by shared DNA across brands or from clone houses, this one stands out. To me, it smells like something of its own, and I really appreciate that. It gives me a sense of wearing something distinctive, something most people haven’t smelled before. What I also find intriguing is that, while this fragrance has a modern, slightly synthetic vibe, it retains a side of Hermès that I love: an earthy, slightly dirty, almost real quality. Not unpleasant, but grounded. That earthy-citrus undertone gives it depth and adds an alluring, intriguing dimension that keeps me coming back. I’ll be wearing this a lot from now on. It’s definitely part of my rotation for all kinds of occasions. This could easily be a signature scent, if I didn’t already have a collection of 70+ bottles.

What is the enigma that is Hermes H24 Eau de Toilette? The fragrance opens with a juicy, aromatic (almost melon-like) burst. After a few minutes, the sweet melon smell dissipates, and the fragrance retains a floral, green, aromatic, thirst-quenching character with some light woody and metallic undertones. It remains this way for most of the wearing experience. Towards the end of the experience, several hours later, the fragrance recalls the smell of a hot iron to freshly washed clothes. Christine Nagel’s idea for this fragrance of expressing the modern man is apt. The rugged wood and angular metals provide the foundational essence of a man. The gentler florals and aromatics introduce a softer character of the modern man – one who is open to introspection, unafraid of emotions, and so secure in his masculinity that he can express himself in unconventional ways. This modern man has never been seen until now. This fragrance, too, is one that has never been seen until now. I have never smelled anything like it. It strikes the perfect balance of warm and cool, spicy and refreshing, floral and woody, soft and sharp. It’s clean, refreshing and palatable, perfect for everyday wear, yet maintains intrigue. It’s in its own league – unique, but never obnoxious or in your face. It’s a hidden gem. I’m very excited to have this in my collection and plan for it to be a daily driver. This fragrance reminds me much of myself with all its enigmatic congruence. (On a personal note, this fragrance reminds me of being in my oma’s (grandmother’s) house on a sunny afternoon, her house filled with the fragrance of garden flowers, freshly ironed clothes, and numerous sewing projects. It also reminds me of my first trip to South Korea as a child during the summer of 2007, and the smell of a specific cleaning product from Europe or South Korea. All very comforting memories).

#68 of My Fragrance Journey - Hermès H24: A Neon-Botanical Prism I keep coming back to this one late at night. Quiet. No distractions. And the thought keeps landing the same way: H24 isn’t really a scent. It’s more like... a shift in air. Like the room changes direction and you notice it before you understand it. First spray - yeah, it’s a shock. Cold. Electric. Green, but not leafy or friendly. More like chlorophyll under fluorescent light. Metal nearby. Not sharp in a loud way, just very clear. Almost severe. I keep thinking of walking through an empty city after midnight, streetlights buzzing, pavement still wet-but not rain, not petrichor. Steel. Glass. Something alive pushing through concrete anyway. Then there’s this strange steam note. Hot iron. Fresh fabric ghosting the skin. Clean, yes - but not soap-clean. More like a blank room before anyone’s arrived. A page before the sentence. It doesn’t comfort you. It doesn’t ask if you’re okay. It just... exists. And that’s the point, I think. H24 isn’t trying to charm anyone. It’s linear, dry, metallic, vegetal. Masculine, but not in the usual ways. No woods flexing. No tobacco posturing. It feels like a man alone with his thoughts, fine with the silence. Not lonely-just present. On my skin, it stays close. Intimate. A quiet aura rather than a trail. It follows me like an unfinished thought I don’t mind carrying around. This won’t be for everyone. There’s no warmth to sink into, no amber hug at the end. But sometimes you don’t want to be held. Sometimes you want to be clarified. Sharpened. Seen clearly, even if only by yourself. H24 feels like stepping into your own atmosphere - and deciding, calmly, to stay there. In August 2023, I was visiting Munich. Even though it was the middle of summer, it was often rainy and foggy in Munich, with sudden interruptions of brilliant white sunlight and steaming humidity. While killing time at a department store, I tried this out, spraying it quite liberally on my arms and neck. My immediate thought was: whoa, this is fascinating, but this is not for me. Bracing green foliage, glassy reflections, pear juice, herbal shaving cream, a metallic bitterness. Totally weird. Still, there was something intriguing about it that kept me coming back again and again. The strange and changeable weather of Munich was somehow captured in the scent. I would pass by a department store once a week on my way home from work, and spray some more on. At first it was just because the fragrance instantly transported me back to that holiday in Munich, and the memories of the friends I visited there, bound permanently to this scent; eventually, I started craving the scent in its own right. I bought a full bottle of this during a post-Christmas sale and have worn it nearly every day since then. I love it now. It still transports me back to that European vacation, and captures so many of the essences of a stately city like Munich. The green humidity of the English Garden, the crisp and stately architecture of the Maxvorstadt district, trees and flowers reflected in the plate glass windows of the tram line underlaid with the metallic smell of train brakes. This thing is a minimalist masterpiece and I hope it signals a new direction in men's fragrances, rooted in a new idea of what makes something "fresh".

To me it has a citrusy, eucalyptus oil and pine needle smell. It gets better as it drys down. More woody and musky notes start to shine. I was initially underwhelmed. It improved as I wore it. Finished the wear impressed. I'm not getting the futuristic smell or youthful vibes. It smells like a Hermès. I'm really enjoying this one. It comes off as minimalistic with the listed notes represented very well. But it's got alot going on. It seems like we have reached a new level of tech innovations in perfumery. This came out of those front line trenches. How to make traditionally great scents within the new standards of regulated ingredients. Oakmoss comes to mind in this scent. The scralene is doing its own thing while still supporting and reinforcing the the 3 main characters. I keep enjoying this one more and more. Smells like a mix of Terre de Hermès and Jardins line. Very Hermès. I have some sage from the garden in bundles hanging to dry. It's about half dry now and when I pull a leaf and rub it between my fingers it smells so much like this. Its a silver green sage with a blue tint in the silver and the green. The metallic tone from the blue silver color and the metallic tinge of the bittersweet herbal green. There is alot going on with each note. I'm not so familiar with narcissus or palisander rosewood so I can't draw from personal experience. If you click on the narcissus in the ingredients list it certainly smells like it's in here. P. Rosewood is a much more open and nondescript accord when I researched it for this fragrance.

One of the few fragrances my boyfriend has (he's not as big of a fan of fragrances as I am ;( ). It's very clean, green, fresh, and herbal in a stimulating, unique way that sets this fragrance apart from many recent masculine fragrance releases/trends that seem to be on a blue-scented binge. Buried beneath the sage leaves, I do get a slightly hidden metallic note that gives it a suave and modern appeal. The dry-down brings out more of that woodsy note, it softens the edges of the entire scent composition and adds a subtle inviting warmth—the wood note really draws me into him when he wears it. This scent isn't overbearing and lasts the entire day on him, he doesn't smell like every other teenage to young adult man walking around with a huge scent bubble from over spraying, I just absolutely love it on him! I also wouldn't say this is unisex—and I'm a huge fan of unisex fragrances! While this is a clean-fresh-smelling fragrance, this makes me think of the after-shower scent that comes from a masculine body wash. I would feel pretty out of place wearing this as a woman (but to each their own of course)! H24 makes me think of an office man who's well put together: good hygiene, good grooming, and good priorities—it's spring/early summer and this is his signature for these warmer months. There's really nothing more alluring than a man who takes care of himself well and smells like it. Honestly, it might be TOO alluring because I'm addicted to smelling my bf whenever he wears this <3

So, I tested this one again a while ago and I still love it, but have a slightly different perception of it, specifically on the opening. The opening was very different compared to how I remembered it. It's a very intense green scent on the initial spray before settling into a luxurious, clean herbal/woody scent that embodies "old money". The drydown on this fragrance is absolutely immaculate and unlike any other scent I've smelled. It's undoubtedly masculine with a vintage vibe, but not in an abrasively dirty way like all of the old chypres I've tried. It's the perfect middle ground for men who don't like modern sweet scents, but also find chypres/fougeres too heavy and aggressive, or consider them dated. This is the sweetspot of having a vintage feel with a modern twist. And that was exactly what I was looking for when starting my collection. The votes say this is a warmer-month fragrance, but it's strong enough that you could easily wear it in colder weather too. It honestly has impressive performance for an EDT, so you don't have to worry about reapplying. Long story short, although the opening is not the best in my opinion (though I wouldn't call it bad), I found my new signature scent. Strongly recommend if you're looking for a classy standout fragrance to pair with linen clothes, but will also work in casual settings.

I think this is absolutely fantastic and a joy to wear. In spring when the leaves and grass begin to make their appearance, H24 is the first fragrance I think of with excitement to wear. It’s vibrantly juicy-green and feels healthy and uplifting. I’m among the group who gets a phantom banana note (which I’m thinking could come from a combo of clary sage and an aroma chemical called benzyl acetate etc bla bla bla), and it ends up conjuring the image of a green smoothie which I totally love. I think H24 is easy to take for granted, but imagine you’re Christine Nagel composing “the new masculine” for a house as enormous as Hermès, and proposing a bright, uplifting, refreshing metallic green fragrance. I think that’s pretty daring. And though I’m a card-carrying Ellena mega fan, I think it’s awesome that she created something that exchanges a happy smile with the Jardin line, but also feels new and different, with her own signature in the form of weight, density, and texture. And the steamed fabric note is no joke. A very cool addition that I don’t think was the simple addition of Habanolide (a metallic laundry musk). I honestly think it’s legendary, in the way Terre is legendary, and Mathilde Laurent’s L’Heure Perdue for Cartier is legendary: breaking new ground with conviction and flawless finesse.

Tried this on almost accidentally and bought a full bottle after one wear. At 50€ for 100ml, this is an unbelievable quality for the money. It's an unique, non-blue and non-citrusy modern freshie. I seem to smell melon or green pear over neutral metallic and woodsy base. Office-safe. Long-lasting. Surprisingly, proved quite suitable even for sunny freezing winter days! Pleasant and natural-smelling, which is a weird thing to say about those metallic and steam notes, but they do indeed smell natural and high quality, not like some chemical that is dangerous to my lungs which one encounters here and there in badly mixed blue freshies. Metal here is not of the usual powdery and dry variety, but wet! Drydown lasts last all day, smells great, and it is, somewhat unexpectedly... subtly creamy. Hermes could easily be charging 3-4x for this, this is such an inventive and tasteful blend. Wondering what the other two flankers smell like. P.S. Very minor point, but kudos to the designers: bottle looks disappointingly basic on pictures, but is actually very nice in person - light is magnified and distorted by the glass very elegantly and the straw is almost completely invisible as a result, visible only at a certain angle or held against a light source.

i have to write about h24. this is where my passion started for fragrances and it completely changed the way i see them. its the first time a fragrance ever gave me visions when my prior experience was dior sauvage alikes and barbershop stuff, i didn't realise how much identity a fragrance could have. it was march 2025 i remember sitting outside the mall with my friend after been given a bunch of test strips to go through. maybe it was the combination of the clothes i was wearing, all the concrete floors and buildings around me, being in spring or all of the above but when i smelt h24 it all clicked together. it made me realise fragrance can give you visions, enhance your personal style and life, it gave me memories of visiting barcelona, seeing the large architecture, hotels, shopping centres, the parks, it reminded me of my love for certain music and clothing, it just gave me a visceral almost liveable dream like feeling that was taylored to where i am in life. i dont know why the actual smell clicks with me so much and i dont want to know, i think its gorgeous. it's my first love fragrance and i never see myself parting with it

I sampled each of the three H24 releases at the airport and the original EDT was the lighter and fresher pick. I finally got a bottle and it's more interesting than I thought. It's fresh and light but with a tamed masculine edge that feels like a nod to old school fragrances like Aramis but there is also a subtle yellow floral note that flirts with the scent profile but never becomes cloying, it sits near the edge, coming and going. I wanted to wear H24 a few more times before I wrote a review because I wanted to be sure I genuinely liked it and I absolutely do. It's not as simple of a fragrance as I initially thought but it's not complicated either. It is very interesting, maybe not for everyone, but definitely worth a sample. Edit: This fragrance makes me feel like a man. There is something about this scent that strikes a chord. I don't know if it's universal feeling or just me? H24 is what a man wears. An authority figure, protector, problem solver. H24 doesn't do this by being over the top masculine, it does it with understated class. I really like this fragrance!

I stopped collecting after I discovered this scent. It is now my signature scent and I wear it everyday to remember this beautiful part of my life with this stunning fragrance. Its perfectly timeless, unique, mass appealing, incredibly blended, solid performance, cool name, beautiful bottle, even the refill bottle is so cool looking I have that on display as well. I genuinely LOVE this fragrance and finally found something that just feels so right to wear. This is subjective to me though you might not like this lol. I worked in a fancy restaurant a couple years ago and one of the guests in the restaurant smelled so damn good I was so curious which scent it was but the whole room smelled like this I could not tell who was wearing it so I didn't know who to ask what fragrance they are wearing. I have remembered the scent so well since I like it so much and I was trying to find the scent through samples here and there. After I discovered this last spring I am 98% sure this is what I smelled, if not its damn close.

I was looking for something in my collection that I had not tried for a while. It's a sunny day but cool outside, and it rained last night. so I didn't want one of these heavy fragrances that are dominating, nor did I want some kind of traditionally "fresh" scent (like a sport or marine). Where did this little beauty come from?! Opens with a pomelo or grapefruit accord, with florals - like if you were eating breakfast with pomelo or grapefruit, and a spring floral bouquet on the table. In the back is a light musk so it's like you just took a shower and put on a freshly laundered shirt before breakfast. After that, there's a nice herbal accord that will pop out and remind us that this is not purely a top-note fragrance. As with all these top-note fragrances, it is best not to expect awesome longevity. And I'd suggest not over-spraying, as these notes could become cloying over time if you go too heavy. it's not meant to be heavy. Surprisingly low score for this lovely fragrance, certainly worth a try.

In a time when every designer brand seems to be obsessed with pumping out as many ambroxan heavy blue scents and sweet tonka bombs as humanly possible, Hermes goes ahead and drops a... masculine yellow floral? H24 is cold, dewy, and futuristic, it reminds me of modern minimalist architecture, sprawling cityscapes, rain and white interiors. It's fresh and invigorating, but also soft, friendly and inviting. It performs well enough but it's not aggressive or overwhelming in the slightest. It also kinda smells like minty bananas, but in a good way. This isn't the kind of thing you'd expect from just any designer house, but you can always count on Hermes to go against the grain and release something unique. I understand why H24 isn't as popular as some other designer releases, and I see why diehard fans of Terre might not be into it, but it has become a summer staple for me, and I consider it a strong offering even by Hermes standards. Christine Nagel absolutely nailed it.

I feel cheated because I read the reviews of this fragrance and ignored it for years. I should have smelled it at the mall when I had the chance. This is such a beautiful fragrance for young professional men. It does not smell cheap or synthetically sweet like those that the immature crowd prefers. It is for classy men—soft and elegant, flowery but masculine, aromatic, slightly metallic, and fresh. It is just slightly sweet from the flower. Overall, the scent is refreshing, oozing class and sophistication on a young man. I got the H24 EDP from someone as a gift, and oh my, I got hooked immediately after spraying it on a test strip, sniffing it like a maniac. I immediately ordered a small 12.5 ml H24 EDT to try out. Yes, this is the better version—less sweet and more fresh. I love the EDP too, but it is too sweet and slightly creamy, like banana candy. I am ordering a big bottle of the EDT. I like it so much!

A good, clean aromatic that can be worn easily as a casual day to day fragrance and especially in an office environment. If you like sickly sweet, syrupy decadence that you’d rather eat than wear, this was not made for you. Plain & simple. It’s a straight forward creation in the aromatic vein with a very light fougere & floral touch. Clean freshness with a green & semi metallic tinge that actually smells really nice in the air which gives a very pleasant sillage as one moves about. It’s a contemporary modern day aromatic/fougere creation. Business attire in a cleaned pressed shirt and suit or rumbling about in jeans and a T with your favorite flip flops for today’s man. It does both exceptionally well from dawn to dusk. Inoffensive, easy to wear yet quite unique from the blue ambroxan nuclear bomb creations that permeate the fragrance landscape nowadays. It’s different and in a real good way. Enough said.

I originally was looking for the H24 Herbes after smelling it at a department store, but then I got the EDT (I love blind buying perfumes) instead online at a great price under discounts. Gotta say this is for sure not for everyone. Surprising performance and medium-to-good silage for a EDT (5-6hrs @6 sprays around neck, warm to hot weather from 24C to 28C). It opens with a metallic and close to photorealistic green grass scents that is certainly not for everyone. But personally I love green scents so this is exactly what I'm looking for. Then it slowly transitions to a yellow floral scent after 1 ~ 1.5hr, smells a bit like Jasmine in the mid and base. If you prefer a very grassy green scent, get the EDT. If you prefer more Jasmine, get the Herbes. This is a great value perfume tho with exceptionally well performance considering its just an EDT, perfect for warm to hotter days.

This is my go-to fragrance, primarily for its exceptional versatility and clean profile. It’s an effortless choice for any setting—whether you're at the gym, the office, or outdoors—as it remains pleasant without becoming overbearing or headache-inducing. The scent opens with a distinct metallic edge, which settles after about 30 minutes into a crisp, "just-out-of-the-shower" freshness. I’m currently on my second bottle, which speaks to how much I enjoy it. However, I wouldn't suggest this as a blind buy. That initial metallic note can be polarizing, and it might not appeal to everyone’s palate. That said, I personally find it adds a unique, luxurious character to the fragrance. The performance is impressive: it lingers well into the next day, and the sillage is strong enough to ensure a noticeable presence for the first three to four hours.

This is underrated (or underappreciated). Or some combination of both. So many fragrances where the reviewer is complaining about 'boring' and 'generic', same old, etc... Then here comes H24 and something different. And quite good. Masculine, herbal, aromatic, and a decent performer for a very good price on discounters....and it sits in the mid 3's. This is good. Very, very good. Sometimes less is more. And lets face it. Houses like Hermes need to be thankful for a perfumer like Nagel, as she is putting the 'new' and 'different' and 'unique' back into the mix. I'm here for it. (For context, I had tested all 3 iterations of this fragrance extensively. I found the EDP good, but a bit too sharp, thus it lost some of the magic of the EDT. And the Herbes Vives was simply too vegetal and bitter to be wearable around people.)

My favourite notes are citruses, mint, aromatic herbs and spices, grass and woods. This reminds me of the Un Jardin line - particularly sur le toit, same smoothness, character and wearing pleasure, yet with its own new unique twist. I love the uplifting fresh green grass opening, the aromatic, metallic aroma and the soft dry wood finish. Christine Nagel created a very nice modern fragrance, pleasant to wear, with good performance, which in a way, projects an innovative Hermes energy to its perfumes collection. H24 is in my current favourite lineup and I think will stay around for quite some time. I also love Herbes Vives. They are different, may not be everybody's cup of tea, but that is good so. I like Hermes for the fact it's doing its own thing, not running with the crowd; that is what makes it special.

This is an interesting and underrated designer that can be found online far cheaper than the likes of your typical YSL mainstream fragrances. It is light wearing but you still get a solid 5-7 hours and you just smell clean without going full blown shower gel. I can’t really compare this to anything else, but it could be considered in the same realm as Prada lhomme in terms of overall vibe as it is the perfect professional scent. Definitely shines in high heat and can be dressed up but it’s just a really good versatile piece for when you wish to smell clean. I personally don’t get the banana smell but I do get the metallic I fresh iron laundry like scent. This one smells nice in the air. A great modern green fragrance thst really is trying to do something different. Definitely sample before buying!

Damn, I love this! Smells so clean, like a very high end hotel that's full of fragrant, green plants, and a diffuser blowing clouds of steam throughout the lobby. I definitely get the "ironed/steamed shirt" idea they tried to convey. The longevity is surprisingly really good! I sprayed it on last night after the shower and went out for a bit, woke up the next morning and I still smell it when I move around. Good projection, filled up the room with a few sprays without being overpowering or cloying. Very aromatic. I don't have anything else like this in my collection. I have been looking for a fresh, clean, somewhat more mature fragrance that isn't so commonly worn, I think I've found it in H24. I like it so much I may end up blind buying the flankers lol. 9/10 for me

A year ago, I sampled this fragrance and instantly fell in love. Now, with a tester in hand, I can confirm it’s every bit as incredible as I remembered. While I usually shy away from floral perfumes (Issey Miyake l'eau d'issey), this one strikes a perfect balance. To describe it: imagine the crisp scent of freshly steam-ironed clothes, accented by metallic undertones and soft floral nuances. It’s a unique combination that feels refined and unlike anything I’ve experienced before. I’m no fragrance expert, but I’ve explored many popular scents, and this one stands out as my signature. It’s sophisticated, clean, and simple a fragrance I wear purely for myself, not for compliments. It is truly one of a kind.

Strikes me as a sterile corporate smell, spa-like in a way, only colder than expected. Opens with a metallic accord of pseudo-herbal aldehydes, the colors white and peridot green. Warms up a little with what I can only describe as a fantasy fruity-floral note that has no analog in nature (forget pears and bananas and narcissus). Yes, it has a sort of sugary edge, akin to mango skin, but that ray of gold light pales again into the sage-like woodier base. The drydown at the five hour mark gives me whiffs of what reminds me of glossy magazine pages, when you bury your nose in the crevice of the binding and get the combo of expensive paper, offset ink, and ethylene-vinyl acetate. Simply gorgeous.

Clary sage and yellow flowers is all I get. No hot iron on wet wool like others have said. Its a very nice fresh and modern fragrance. Its like nothing I own. Currently have the edt and might want to try the edp too. Probably be redundant but we'll see. I would say 25+. I really don't see a teenager wearing it. Projection and sillage are average. I put it on yesterday, 5 sprays and I got whifs all day long. I even got an unsolicited compliment from a pharmacist. He asked what I was wearing and he said he was a frag head. Now he's gonna buy it haha. Now I have something to chat about when waiting on my meds. Overall for me its an 8/10. 100% not disappointed with my blind buy.

H24 I find to be really interesting, it has a modern minimalist quality to it while also tapping in to some classic green fougere vibes. The opening is bright, brisk, and uplifting. The absence of any citrus throws it right in to green aromatics. And within seconds the narcissus starts to shine. Others have said it gives off a banana vibe, I completely agree. But if you’ve ever walked past a garden with blooming florals in the early morning or late evening when it’s cool and that scent just hangs in the air, that’s in H24 for me. The dry down is woody and slightly floral still and very pleasant all the way through. One of my best purchases in years, fantastic stuff.

Literally just sprayed this on skin. I like it, a lot. The Ganymede DNA is one of my favorites and this opening is definitely in the same vibe as that with the metallic nuance. Others have mentioned citruses up top, I'm getting none of that so maybe after a few days thay will start to appear. If this doesn't change, I'm completely fine with that too. This scent wafts very well, not hard to smell without trying to dig my nose in. So far, very good. Hard to hate this unique scent that isn't all that expensive compared to it's counterparts. Fresh, metallic, and an enigma. Will return for a full review in a few weeks as I test this out.

This is what you get when the Man has enough of his shit-talking wife, gets a divorce and relocates back to his log cabin in the pine forest and lives a life of solitude. Stumbling across this cabin on a long rainy walk and being given shelter by him. The lobby engulfed in natural wood, pine and eucalyptus scents, all mixed with the natural aroma in the air of a happier, more content, strong and handsome man that runs that log castle. You wear this if you know what you're all about as a Man. Exactly as you would with Platinum Egoiste and TF Beau de Jour. Otherwise, please continue with your Afnan 9PM and leave us alone. K Bye.

I tested this at Sephora at the mall and wore it around all day as I window shopped and walked around. This may sound strange but the opening gave me the smell of a banana candy, but in the best way. A warm, green, metallic banana candy, lol. But I really enjoyed that vibe. The dry down is very beautiful with an herbal woody scent. It actually lasted for several hours with just two sample sprays on my arm and I could still smell it pretty strongly when I got home later that night. I will definitely be picking up a full bottle. Great daily, clean, fresh office scent! And unique.

Such a good scent. It is metallic but green at the same time. Like a freshie but a zoomer version. Not that it is juvenile as a scent, but it has a youthful energy to it. It brightens up a day. It feels like a shower in the morning. Clean linen, with a herbal and green twist. Does not last too long, but it should not last long anyway. It is like the little brother of TDH, and the sage in this reminds me a bit of Initio's Paragon. All in all, a good scent. Can find it for cheap as well.

I love this because it reminds me of the fragrance inside those small temples back in my village. You wake up early, bathe and go to pray. It's raining outside and you can smell the petrichor. Then you enter the temple and you smell the moss on its rock walls, the sandalwood paste and the mixed fragrance of various flowers freshly plucked for worship. That's what I am reminded of when I wear this after shower, now living in a cold European city.

Very underrated fragrance! Fresh, floral, aromatic, mineral with light wood base. It has a sour zest citrus juicy smells even it doesn't have in the pyramid. Works great even very hot summer days. Really nice, very luxurious, bright, pure, natural without obvious and "traditional" notes. Also well complimented A niche quality as most Hermès Fragrances Awesome perfomance: 8+ hours longevity good sillage for 2 hours

Just from test strip at the perfume shop I could tell straightaway that this might be one of the greatest spring fragrances of all time. Beautiful florals which are perfectly blended together create a feeling that you are walking on a meadow full of blooming flowers during a sunny spring day. I can't say anything at the moment about the performance because I only smelled it of off a test strip at the mall.

Compliments: Out of the H24 line defiantly the most mass appealing. You will get more compliments if you wear this with a nice relaxed clean looking outfit e.g. something you would wear in the evening time on holiday. Uniqueness: Mass appalling yet the yellow floral note adds hint of uniqueness about it. Bottle design: Pretty basic yet still catches your eye and maintains looking high end. Overall: 9.5/10

How am I just finding out about this gem? I was in nord and a nice worker gave me a small 5ml mini of this. And it is amazing, such a hidden gem. It reminds me of Lazy Sunday Morning by Maison Margiela. It is fresh, floral and has a linen type of smell that I just love. Only downside is the longevity, I wish it lasted longer. Otherwise, it is a great everyday fragrance. 8.5/10

Very interesting take on a fresh scent. Smells like cucumber juice to my nose. I was very excited to smell the metallic note everyone talks about, but I don't smell it, unfortunately. A lot brighter than the EDP, but still very much the same scent profile, probably indistinguishable in everyday situations. I think I prefer the EDT because it's a bit more aromatic and fresh.

smells like a walk on a beach that has had a recent metal shipwreck that is constantly decomposing under the sun, with a tinge of white flowers the opposite of a generic fragrance, super fresh and beautiful under really hot conditions but it's so so so disappointing how it underperformes after the first hour this would have been my signature fragrance if it was long lasting

Modern masterpiece and new age barbershop. Sclarene takes the place of traditional vetiver. I think H24 gets unfairly compared to Terre d’Hermes. It’s not trying to be Terre d’Hermes, because there’s only one Terre d’Hermes. H24 stands on its own as a new and sophisticated offering from a house that has always marched to the beat of its own drum. It deserves at least 4.25.

I might be one of the very few, but I really love this fragrance. When I have to be dressed up or casual with a white shirt, H24 completes my outfit with its fresh ironed smell, very clean, metallic, and slightly floral. It is very elegant, on me it has fantastic performances and a compliment getter. PS: I don't like the EdP and Herbes Vives releases, this is the one!

Imagine a very tan, muscular 20 something guy, late summer evening somewhere green and probably in europe. He smells like this. Young, fresh, energetic but mild mannered. Smells like a really hot, clean guy. Emphasis on clean; there's no animalic or saltiness or any of that. Just really impressive and lovely - the frag and the guy I'm imagining.

Total sleeper fragrance. For an EDT this lasts ages on my shirt, and all day on my skin. Pushes out a nice sillage and is perfect for warm weather and work. Haven't worn this one in a while, and just sprayed it on and it brought a smile to my face. This is a love and so unique yet appeals as a fresh floral that still leans masculine.

FOR EVERYONE WHO SAW THE HYPE AND TRIED IT BUT IT SMELLS LIKE IRON MANS ASS, you need time to get used to this and then it’ll be one of the BESTS from your collection and also can LAYER it with anything. If not for wearing on its own, then get it for layering. Makes everything better even tho I’m not big on layering. Trust me bros.

Criminally underrated IMO. This invokes the feeling of walking in a spring forest just as the first frail flowers start to show. Or sitting in an Italian garden at sundown where a breeze of scents comes from herbs around. Such a beautiful scent. It doesn't project much, but it's not the weakest either.

Fresh kind of green and soft spicy, almost always a good choice when the sun is out. It is different from most fresh fragrances, it is neither citrus/aquatic nor cheap smelling, it is pretty long lasting and is capable of being one of the "workhorses" of your collection
