You're reading this to catch an opinion on Eau Givree. Except I gotta start out personal on this one. Feel free to skip to the next paragraph for a more direct review. I'm starting with a confession. ... I'm a chronic blind-buyer. I try to sample, I really do. Every time I sample, I end up looking at the receipt and thinking: damnit, this money coulda been a full bottle! Or almost. Do I then have a moment of clarity, and think about how many times I've had to declutter and give away bunches of like 20 fragrances at a time that I blind-bought and hated? Noooo. Will I ever learn? Nope. Blind-buying fool for life. However, I do at least come on here and read like every review first, trying to figure out if I should gamble or not. This site is important to me. Therefore, I'll try to make my reviews here helpful. So, I blind-bought Eau Givree. And I read all the reviews on here first. My opinion: this fragrance is an actual masterpiece. For me, it fixes everything that kept me away from collecting the OG (I respect that fragrance immensely; I'm just not crazy about smelling like oranges and vetiver), but that doesn't matter to you. What's it like? What's in the boxxx?! It's extremely outdoorsy. It took me a while to figure out what I like in fragrances. I'm still figuring it out. One of the first things I learned is that I like Outdoorsy. I like being outside. I've liked being outside ever since I was a kid. Didn't you? Eau Givree evokes being outside on a beautiful sunny summer day somewhere coastal. Meandering amongst scrubby trees near a beach and the ground under you is a mix of dirt, sand, and rocks. I agree with everyone else saying the juniper is piney here. There's a snappy pine needle vibe that's strongest in the opening, and thankfully remains throughout after the citrus overcomes it. This fragrance put Timur seeds on my map in a big way. It's peppery grapefruit, perfect for peeps like me who need spicy in their freshie. Eau Givree is masterful in the way it (Swiss perfumer Christine Nagel) balances prickly with smooth, and outdoorsy with clean. I definitely get the cooling effect everyone talks about, but I'm wearing this right now in December and loving it. I'd say this works for all seasons other than the coldest snowy days of winter. When I was reading the reviews of this here before I got it, the complaints about performance were freaking me out. I'll put in a hearty vote here for excellent performance on Eau Givree. I put this on last night after I showered. It's evening again, and I've worked a full shift today. I can still smell it on my arms. And my skin eats fragrances. Plenty of long lasting presence. Some reviews here yucked on this because it reminded them of Pine-Sol. I can actually understand how that could happen, because it's kinda lemony and kinda piney. However, have no fear. Making that comparison is still absurd to me, like someone tasting fine wine and saying it reminded them of a rotten grape they accidentally ate once. The pricing of this potion is a happy dream. Eau Givree now has set a bar, being one of the best quality to price-point ratios in my whole collection. It's a timeless masterpiece.

37 Male. Probably one of the most unique/difficult frags I've ever smelled. I don't think I've really ever smelled anything else like this. It is NOT similar to the other Terre flankers - AT ALL. I get 0% woody. To everyone reviewing this saying how easy of a frag it is, these people are clearly advanced in the frag game. Lasts a long time on myself. Decent silage, projection is close - but that's exact how this scent should be. *This frag was based off "Gin & Tonic" - bitter, crisp, refreshing ... its not "sweet, smooth, fruity" as some would imagine on that hot summer day...* *NOT blind buy safe* *You probably will not like this - which is why I love it* It is not sporty, fruity, or fresh in any way... Its Crisp & Sharp - like the first 52 degree day when you forget to wear a sweatshirt early in the morning when the sun is coming up and you walked out of your place to head to work. Its Dirty & Clean - like a man who has his throat tattooed but is clean cut & handsome enough to be a model. Although Vetiver is not a scent addition on this frag, you would think it is. Something in this smells very Ethereal. Very Petrichor. Slightly Metallic... Sulfuric! (used paper matches or firework smoke lingering in the air after a 4th of July show). My girlfriend says "wear the one that smells like ... shit" ... other times she uses the word "dirt". 31, female. Currently my #1 warm weather scent besides summer freshies for the gym and beach. This warm weather scent has its place and occasion. Starts off with a bitter icy "citron", not sweet. This falls on a bed of juniper berries and is stepped on and pushed into earthy moist soil, no grass, in a odd yet fascinating way. Suddenly you get a reminiscing of sulfur smoke after a 4th of July fireworks show that lingers in the distant air. Or the blow out of candles on a birthday cake. This may be the "mineral" part of the frag. May take some getting used to before you can appreciate it. Definitely a 30+ confident alpha males scent. Will not be getting compliments here. But you would swear on the dry down that something here is special. A must have full bottle scent. If you appreciate the finer things in life; ie: beautiful women, cigars, travel, sports cars - I cannot foresee you not loving this.

I just got this in so quick non in depth review. Not how I rember smelling the scent in store at all. In a good way. In the store this was a lot more sugary and less woody to my nose and I couldn’t see the pine sol comparisons or anything else people say. (Although it still sugary at least on me) But now that I have it the citrus a lot more tart and grapefruit smelling. Very photo realistic though, then the juniper berry which is really pine needles comes in and hard. Which is why some may associate it to pine sol. But as the zingy and beautiful opening transitions to the mid it’s this very clean and fresh photo realistic pine needles comes scent to me which over powers the citrus For the time being, but trust me the citrus stays. As we transition into the dry down I get a citrus peel and icy woody mineral like scent. Like a dry icy spiced lemonade. Very clean and sophisticated scent. Not soapy clean although I can have that feel but more like a crisp cool air as you walk into a pine forest. Very artist and interactive. (Definitely not for everyone) I personally can’t see how anyone can consider this a simple fragrance it’s definitely one of the unique designers I have ever smelled and as a lover of more unique fragrances this was a win. Also noticed it’s easy to go nose blind to this due to the mineral and aromatic notes. Which do lean towards being synthetic smelling but that’s expected for mineral notes. Also pro tip about many fragrantica reviews a lot of people don’t own the fragrance or only judge it for the initial opening then rate it off that. But overall performance is 7+ hours with average to below average to below average projection for 2-3hr Mabye more hard to judge without a friend near by. it’s an almost skin scent after that but noticeable. This fragrance doesn’t end when the citrus isn’t potent this def last over 4 hr people are either nose blind or over exaggerating. Also I get the citrus for the whole life of this fragrance, it’s more of the peel as previously mentioned but it’s aprant to me atleast. Or Mabye it’s my skin on both performance and smell (which would be weird since my skin eats certain fragrances)

I wrote a more detailed review for one of Givrées clones, but most of the points apply to the original, so here's a copy: "I love the original Terre d'Hermes and the DNA, so I thought I'd give Eau Givrée a decant, and volià, another banger by Hermes, but I couldn't justify getting another expensive designer at this point, so I blind bought Glace, which was at sale at the time for just 13$. This is an insanely close clone to Givrée. My nose can detect some minor differences, especially in the opening, but my brain does get confused which is which and I cannot pinpoint them. After 15-20 minutes they smell almost identical on my skin. Glace might be a tad more mineralic and has the tiniest bit more sweetness, so Givrée has automatically a little more of that earthy vetiver note, but they are so so close. It's clearly meant to be worn around spring and summertime, but you can wear this whenever you want and should offend no one. If this smells like cleaning products to you or cat urine like one reviewer wrote, go to the doctor as soon as possible. If you like the DNA and would like to own an excellent Hermes clone on the cheap, you can't go wrong with this. No maturating needed, the fragrance just works right out of the box. As for which one I like better: Considering the price, Glace is the clear winner. Going by smell and quality alone: This is a little harder, leaning towards Glace, because it seems to have a tiny amount more "Oomph!" to it after the dry down. An absolute underrated sleeper of a fragrance that you will adore if you like the Terre D'Hermes DNA and are looking for a springtime / summertime banger."

Maybe the best citrus-fresh woody fragrance on the market, period. The quality is impeccable, the elegance is undeniable, and it has that enticing element that draws attention. It’s the kind of fragrance that is both elegant and sexy, perfect for warm weather. What’s funny is that, even though I consider this one of the very best fragrances I’ve ever smelled and own, I don’t use it as much as you might expect. Perhaps it’s because I feel it’s special, and I like to reserve it for occasions that feel significant, almost as if I’m keeping it associated with the precious moments of my life. Interestingly, it’s not a hypebeast fragrance or talked about as much as perhaps it deserves, and I actually think that’s a good thing. It allows me to feel distinct from the super overhyped scents and many bestsellers. Hermès is one of my favorite houses, and for me, the words that capture this fragrance are elegance and zingness, but in a profoundly earthy way. I also have the original Terre d’Hermès, which I consider one of the classiest scents of all time, rich with real substance. This Eau Givrée version takes that classic base and brings a brighter, citrus-forward, more vibrant twist. For me, this is a 10 out of 10 fragrance, period.

Christine Nagel took a different approach with Eau Givrée in 2022, aiming for what she calls “radical freshness” — a bright, icy, citrus-forward scent that still carries the structure and depth of the original. As someone who now calls the original Terre d’Hermès my signature, I’ll admit — it didn’t click for me right away. I actually disliked it for about a year before it slowly grew on me and became something I couldn’t live without. Eau Givrée, on the other hand, I liked instantly — perhaps because I was already familiar with the DNA. It opens with a vibrant burst of lemon and citron, sharpened by the spicy zing of Timur pepper, and balanced by that unmistakable woody, mineral base. Despite its citrus-forward nature, Eau Givrée has surprising body and depth, making it versatile enough for cooler weather as well as warm. It lasts a solid 10–12 hours, projecting confidently for about 4–6 without ever being overwhelming. If the original Terre felt too dry or austere, Eau Givrée offers a fresher, more approachable perspective — without losing the sophistication and character that make the Terre d’Hermès line so distinctive. Hermès has yet to let me down — maybe it’s time I explore the new EDP.

I find this fragrance really pleasant. It is airy, fresh, and not offensive. But be careful in first 10 minutes it does really project. But afterward, i find the scent is elegant and quite mature. I am not sure (but I can be wrong) that sweet vanilla frag lovers will find this fragrance interesting or will like it. But if you like modern citrusy barbershop style fragrances, or perhaps freshies from Acqua di Parma, this might be suitable for you, as well. This fragrance, I can say, is my signature scent. It is not my top 1, but it is the fragrance which always in my bag in 1 decant. I dont spray it in the morning (I use other airy fragrance in rotation). Working at a german engineering consultant and have regular meetings with clients, I dont want my scent to be offensive. So i never use heavy ambery frag to work. And i use this Eau Givree as respray after lunch, and right after I finish working before commuting back. I use it even in winter that way. So to be precise it is my afternoon signature fragrance. In my top 10 to keep. You are on the southern coast of Europe. It's the Mediterranean, Adriatic, or Black sea. It's a sunny summer afternoon, about 35°. Everyone is drowsy. You are surrounded by conifers; the cicadas are singing. Behind you is a cliff with a few misshapen trees clinging to the bare stone. In front of you is a descent to the sea. Near the shore is a town of whitewashed houses with red tile roofs. The embankment below is lined with fan palm trees. The sunshine is hot but the salty wind is blowing gently at you. There are a few people in sports cars speeding along the winding road leading to the town. There are a couple yachts in the sea approaching the town. Juniper and the sea. At first scent I was immediately taken back to my childhood home in an area like I described above. Somehow in the drydown I get a note of rock candy. Very masculine and minimal. The downside: it is quite weak after the first few hours, and requires a lot of sprays. It's a good example of a mineral fragrance. Cold fragrance. Spring and summer.

What can I say, I've yet to smell a bad Christine Nagel fragrance. Spicy woody bitter citrus opening with juniper berries. Slightly mineral, but none of that flint from EdT. Well, maybe some, but that may be just the bitter citron peel. Fresher than EdT, darker and more masculine than Eau d'Orange Verte. The latter is hot weather only. This one is more versatile, could even be a year-rounder. Slightly earthy/dry-smoky, masculine. It's mostly about this refreshing bitter citron-juniper combo with TdH DNA in the background, which lasts around 3 hours. 3-3.5 hours in, the refreshing effect is gone, juniper fades, and for the next few hours it's mostly about the bitter citron peel on the woodsy base, which is very nice and quite close to EdT. If you're looking for something refreshing, but not blue, this is a great pick that also blows most other popular citruses out of the water. If you own TdH EdT, this might be a bit redundant if your hot summers are short like mine. 9/10 overall.

Back when I was just starting my fragrance collection and didn't know jack from shit, I purchased a bottle of TDH EDT solely based on all the hype it got. I personally thought it was ok and I thought I'd eventually learn to love it; however, it just sat unworn in the back of my collection for the longest time. I never really gave the other flankers a shot, since most of the influencers I watched ranked the EDT as the best. Fast forward about a year, and I got a free sample of Eau Givree when I purchased a bottle of Molecule 01. I almost threw it away without giving it a chance because I thought it couldn't possibly be any better than the EDT. Eventually, I said, "f- it, let's see what this is all about." It honestly was love at first sniff and was everything I wanted the EDT to be! I get a deep grapefruit from the opening that absolutely complements and allows the base TDH DNA to shine. I can't recommend this enough to anyone!

I picked this up this morning on vacation in Belgium and it's absolutely beautiful When you spray it it hits you right away with a very nice Citrus, I have been to Cyprus before and they had Citrons there, it's unmistakably that. Because of this fragrance I found out that a pure version of Juniper is my thing, once it settled it reminded me of Declaration by Cartier but a more balanced less sweet and more mature version with a better integration with the woods. Cartier would be a teenager, this guy wears a suit but with leather and beed bracelets. The original TdH is very good but smells too old fashioned for me. This makes it modern, fresher and more balanced. It makes it pretty much perfect, not too complex, fresh but not soapy, sweetish but not sticky sweet, woody but not piney. Spicy but not overwhelming. This will probably be my new signature. On a personal note: My wife jumped me all day.

Eau Givrée is minimalism done right. It takes the DNA of Terre d’Hermès and cools it to a glacial shine—sharp citrus peel, mineral woods, and just enough aromatic depth to keep it grounded. What I love is how effortlessly it wears: fresh without being soapy, crisp without being synthetic. It’s incredibly versatile—something I can wear to work, while traveling, or just on days when I want to feel clean and composed. Unlike many freshies, it doesn’t try to impress with sweetness or aquatic overload. It projects confidence in restraint. It’s not as creatively green as some of Hermes creations, such as H24 Herbes Vives; but it’s likely more mass-pleasing and timeless. Think of this as the quiet architect in linen—refined, modern, and always appropriate. If you want a fragrance that can do everything in warm weather without ever feeling overdone, Eau Givrée earns its place.

A very nice almost-minimalist kinda fresh fragrance, that's perfect for both casual outtings and would go well as a office fragrance too. Not much to say about its scent profile tbh, to me it's mainly a citrus-woody fragrance with a little Juniper in the back, it gives me a sort of 'chilled Lemonade with ice in it' vibe which I quite like, I do think that this appeals to more of an older crowd though, that being people in their late 20s or above I'd say, and although I love this as a person in their early 20s, it's quite different from the plethora of sweet fragrances that plague most designers these days. In terms of seasons I'd say it leans towards summer and spring days, but as a work fragrance I could see a use case for all year round wearability, lasts around 5-6 hours on my skin with around a medium projection. Overall I'd give it a strong for what it is 8/10

This is a masterpiece in a bottle, perfectly balanced non-offensive summer smell. This one with Intense vetiver version and Allure sport could be my top 5 all-time summer scents. Only if it performed better on my skin... I've gone by this bottle dozens of time as i've bought all the other versions of Terre d'Hermes more than one time ,because , per se, with EDT I get decent 5 6hr performance, with Parfum and Intense Vetiver closer scent trail but 8hrs for sure, while Intense EDP being the best performer in the line and lasting whole day on skin and clothes, but this one, the easiest to wear and easiest to fall in love with... only to disappear into skin scent after 2 hour mark is disappointing for me. Hope one day something will make me decide to add this to the collection and be the first choice on hot days. Scent 9.5/10

Obviously the haters here can't appreciate a scent without ever comparing it to a middle eastern brand that uses cheap materials but I guess they love to smell like lemon toilet cleaners. This here is one the most realistic smelling scents with woody chips in the drydown, the mineral notes uplift the citrus making it sharper, not your lemon citrus but a really high quality citron. It lasts on my skin, so I guess i'm lucky with that but it is true that after an hour projection is intimate. However you can still get whiff of it. A crisp fresh take on the DNA, It kind of reminds me of when you enter a very high end boutique or hotel, it's extremely classy and manly. You could wear it almost anywhere, however I wouldn't dress down too much on this as it is very classy. The best fresh and woody scent in my collection. 9.1/10

This is simply a masterpiece 🔥😍 Terre d'Hermès Eau Givrée takes everything I love about the original Terre d'Hermès and gives it a fresh, icy twist. The opening is incredibly vibrant with sparkling citron, followed by crisp juniper and a beautiful mineral-woody dry down. It feels natural, elegant, and effortlessly masculine. The freshness is unique. Cool rather than sweet and it never smells synthetic. It's refined, sophisticated, and versatile enough for both casual wear and the office. Every time I wear it, I can't stop smelling my wrist. If you're looking for a summer fragrance that stands out without shouting, this is an easy 5/5. One of Hermès' finest creations and an absolute masterpiece. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 out of 5

This is a fine, undeniable masterpiece. Eau Givrée builds on the original Terre d'Hermes' DNA and elevates it to a whole other level. It is so elegant and defined, it smells like a ultra-luxury hotel lobby with a shiny silver fountain bang in the middle of it, it's not extravagent but it has so much character wrapped into a seemingly simple scent breakdown. Honestly, there is something cold and a tiny bit 'metallic-industrial' coming from it which just makes this THAT much more unique and addicting. I've never smelt Ganyemede but this is what i kind of expect it to be like, but I don't see how it could get better than this when it comes to minerallic icy citrus fragrances. Absolute cinema of a freshie.

I read some of the reviews here and otherwise saying it became skinclose after a short while. The bottle I have, scent definitely stays a long time, akin to it being a EDP, and need no respraying, unless you want that grapefruit opening. The mid and bottom notes stays all day on my skin and testerstrip. So I can only suspect that production batches differ. Not a fan of citrus scents, I am more a aromatic woody guy. But then, this one does it for me. This citrus opening is not sharp at all and actually very nice gin like and it has the wood in there in the end for me. A great scent for hot hot summer days. Pretty sure it will take over for my many coconut lime summer scents

One of the designer fragrances that found a place in my collection. There aren't many of them. The original Terre'd Hermes is not an attractive scent for me at all. However, the juniper citrus of Eau Givrée composed on a bed of vetiver is an unforgettable wonderful fragrance. I usually reserve at least two bottles of my favorite fragrances and try to own older and more mature editions as well. I bought a single 200ml bottle of this perfume in the last summer and used it quite a lot and still didn't run out of it much. Its durability is above average and its projection is average. A perfect refreshing summer scent. It is one of my favorites in its category after Nio. :)

I had a decant of this last summer and a couple samples too. Just bought a 175ml bottle for €83 and I think that is a very good deal. I think this in summer and Terre D' Hermes Parfum rest of the year have you covered for the DNA. This one is a really nice crisp citrus, and on my skin it is long lasting. I live in Ireland so we dont get crazy hot weather but for the summer we do get I want this in my collection. It is just very refreshing. I know there are a million freshies out there, but this speaks to me. I recently tried a million and one samples, and the Terre DNA stands tall among the fragrance world. It is refined freshness. Just my take, I like it 👍

Nose Note #369 Just wonderful. Just what I love. The original DNA is already a masterpiece and this is a fresher update on it. If you like OG, I'll appreciate this one. I've already worn another citrus forward fragrance today - Mancer Vetiver Sensuel and I must say that I like it more because it has great longevity. The Hermes is rather average at everything. This pushes my urge to try the Maison Alhambra clone and also to know whether the PdM Perseus clones are any similar. Scent-wise - just very beautiful and natural citrus with slight sweetness. Not very bitter, but noticeable metallic which I like very much about it. 9/10

Imagine you are driving your car in the sweltering heat of summer, sweating profusely, when you see another road and you turn onto it. You are now on a tree-lined road, slightly cool and shaded by tree branches. The wind is blowing gently and suddenly you see children selling lemonade on the side of the road and you decide to buy some lemonade. This is the best decision you have ever made! The children pour a big bucket of ice-cold lemonade over you and put one in your hand and send you away. In your car you say, “That's the most useful 160 dollars I've ever spent in my life!” Well, sir, Terre d'Hermes Eau Givree!

Nose note #7: I feel like this is like ysl y edp but in a more woody way. Its more dense, and I can really feel the pine/spruce, a bit more citric aswell. Just like the ysl, its a very plain fragance: it starts with a fresh citrus note with a woody background, but it wont evolve, it just shades away. The fragance has decent performance, it lasts around 10 hours but no radiation at all, so I would wear it to the office all year round. Like a comment below, I feel like its a lemon gintonic. My fav of all TH flankers, probably because its not as earthy as the others. Price: 48€, 50mL Rate: 8/10

I'm not usually a citrus lover, but I fell in love with this cologne a few years ago. As a woman of a certain age, I don't mind wearing it, as I feel like this is more unisex than strictly male. It starts off very sharp, due to the citron/grapefruit notes, then quickly settled into something softer. It's definitely not a beast, but I'm ok with that; I appreciate scents that are intimate and shine when someone is close enough to appreciate it. This is perfect for this time of year, too, and I feel like it can be best worn during the day, to work and/or even to the gym, if that's your thing.

I love the Givree so much, I bought an FB on the spot. The crisp and aromatic opening reminded me of Bombay Sapphire. There was citrus but it leaned towards dry rather than acidic, which was so much more sophisticated than the typical fresh, sporty summer profile. On my skin, there's a hint of floral with a fruity undertone that's quite feminine (could be very different on a dude). The composition from opening to dry down was so refined, elegant and uplifting. Wearing the Givree reminded me of my carefree days... too many martinis, shaken or stirred indiscriminately... just the best time.

I love Hermes for brighter citrus, herbal and aquatic scents and adore Terre D'Hermes in pretty much every iteration, so it's no surprise I think THEG's amazing. I sprayed it on in duty free in January and could not stop smelling my wrist; its herbal citrus freshness is indeed magically frosted and the drydown is longlasting and coherent, never degenerating into stale notes or harsh synthetics. I'd love to wear Eau Givrée in the summer and it's officially joined my fantasy Hermes freshie wishlist alongside Barenia and its flanker, Jardin sir le Nil and Eau de Gentiane Blanche.

There isn’t a lot of fresh or original content I can bring to the table here, as this fragrance is pretty easy to gauge/describe, but I will try anyway...Eau Givree is a really refreshing/zesty take on the Terre D’Hermes DNA....the notes list “citron”, but as most can concur, it smells awfully grapefruity...a peppery, bitter grapefruit (perhaps from the inclusion of timur berry)...juniper brings an icy cold cocktail vibe...iso e super provides a clean skin musk — or some may interpret more as woodiness...that’s the scent and it’s exquisite — especially for the value

This is a perfect office scent, and remarkably wearable for any number of occasions. "Givrée" means "frosty," and this is a wonderful chilly take on the much lauded Terre d'Hermès, with a big initial blast of grapefruit (here evoked by timur) and citron, and with added juniper berries that give a lovely evocation of a gin and tonic, and mineral notes to recall the original Terre d'Hermes fragrance. Big, bursting, and cool, this is an appealing aromatic scent, and is surprisingly affordable for all that you're getting. This works well for multiple age ranges.

For me this is outstanding. I love TDH and this is also love for me. While i feel that the citron/ lemon in the start could be balanced with some sweetness or citron could be toned down, still i enjoy it. It retains core of TDH, while the alleged screechiness for some has been removed. Woods in base have been toned down as well. But what i love in TDH is here with bright opening and inoffensive core. By next season its performance will surely improve as i have seen with most of my frags. For now it is good enough for office settings. 8.5/10 for me.

This is my go-to summer morning fragrance—fresh, uplifting, and perfect to start the day. Terre d’Hermès Eau Givrée opens with a vibrant burst of citrus that feels incredibly clean and refreshing. As it develops, the signature Terre d’Hermès DNA emerges, but in a lighter, more subtle form. However, this phase fades rather quickly, giving way to mineral and woody notes. These base notes are soft and understated, becoming quite faint after a few hours. Overall, it’s a refreshing and elegant scent I enjoy wearing in the summer. 9.5/10

Fragrance is a very personal thing. Each individual has their own specific taste and they are entitled to express their own views. However, if you are saying this masterpiece is a 'very boring citrus scent' and 'very forgettable', and offering advice such as 'get CDNIM' and 'smell 10x better', you deserve to be banned from Fragrantica and ALL fragrance-related sites for life. This is artistry and deserves a place in the Hall of Fame of Fragrance. Worth every penny and to say otherwise is just nonsense.

Picked this one up recently after having tried all of the TDH line. The best TDH if you prefer a more citrus focused version of the OG. Still smells classic and timeless and very similar however more bright and less rough around the edges. Longevity and sillage are pretty good for me despite others complaining about performance. Lasts almost a full work day. A good daily driver that could be worn any time but better in warmer weather. Hard to fault this one for the price. Would give it a solid 8/10

Terre d'Hermès Eau Givrée is one of the best perfumes for summer and spring in the world. For me, this perfume is perfectly and consistently linear and contains a unique, uncommon DNA—it smells of citrus, oranges, mandarins, and earth. Love at first smell. It is one of my signature scents. I definitely recommend it. The longevity and projection are pretty average, which is the only downside to this perfume. Don't expect it to fill an entire room, but on clothes, it will last until the next day.

This is a decent value (€85 for 175ml) 4.5/5 Signature scent worthy (summer time) fragrance 4.5 Lovely invigorating scent 4.5 Long lasting on me too. If you like the Terre DNA this will do you for late Spring and especially summer (it is lovely on a hot day) and the Parfum for rest of the year For the refined gentleman. It is not sweet, thankfully. Tart citrus on a woody base. Not a million miles from Dior Homme Sport or something like that which would serve the same purpose really

Citrusy, icy, and stony. Almost metallic, even with the juniper berry. Terre D'Hermes EDT is fresh, yet the orange has an edge of warmth to it. Eau Givree does not have that summery ember. It is sophisticated and aloof. This is killer juice for the summertime. I've heard complaints about the longevity, but I get a good 6 hours out of three sprays, and that's including periodically going in and out of a hot warehouse to chew out my forklift drivers. (God bless 'em)

Sharp and clean citrus. After the citrus dies down, there's a piny, clean juniper that comes through. I love this fragrance, and it's honestly impossible to dislike. Better than the other Terre d'Hermès fragrances, in my opinion. This one could be unisex, but I think it makes more sense on a guy. Decent and surprisingly good longevity for a citrus fragrance. It's not a complex fragrance, but the dry down is unlike any other citrus fragrance I've smelled.

Incredible fragrance ! Very unique. To the people who say this is weak and not long lasting - you are wrong. This is very strong and has great longevity. My nose gets a spicy cumin note in the background which I love. Also, a slight anise/ fennel thing going on which make it so unique. I would say this needs several wearings to appreciate its complexity. Probably why the simple folks here are giving the fragrance and Christine Nagel such a hard time...

What can be said about this perfume that hasn’t already been said? I think this is a true masterpiece, probably my personal top 1 or top 2. I will note that I’m not typically one to seek compliments or wear loud perfumes, but I’ve had ~8 people in my personal life not only compliment this but outright state that they would want to wear it as well. An outstanding, gender-inclusive, versatile perfume for all sorts of occasions and all seasons!

Just a good time, smells citruisy and sharp in a sense but thats a good thing. Great for a gym, office or summer time. Definitley not a sweet frag and has a distinguished mature smell about it. I feel like its something an officeman in a suit would wear when its 30 degrees(c) and wants something refreshing. Ive always find it to remind me of homemade lemonnade, not syrupy or sweet like something from the store, but sharp, fresh and citrusy

Fragrance Journal Entry #183 I love this stuff! It's the perfect modern interpretation of the Terre D'Hermes dna. Super fresh and crisp, has a ginger feel to it despite not being listed in the notes. Lasts quite a while for a freshy, this will be a staple for me next summer. If you like stuff like Sospiro Vibrato then you will probably like this as well, not the exact same but in the same space. This perfume made me go back to sephora quite a few times and keep on spritzing. It is that good to my nose, and good thing it does work well with my skin. This smells like Hermes Pamplemousse Rose, due to the grapefruit opening, but the middle notes is lightly woody like the original TdH. Very good smelling and reminds me of my visit to France. havent smelled it much in my country (which is a tropical country btw.)

Exceptional scent, pure fresh citrus, not sweet or overly sour. This is what all the tiktok dupe demons think DG Light Blue Intense would smell like. Oversimplified way to describe it is a more refined, intricate, longer lasting version of Dior Homme Cologne. Completely inoffensive and if you like Dior Homme Cologne you will love this. For $65 USD, (3.4oz tester from jomashop) its a good deal.

could you guys stop calling it "a summer scent" already, please? it's a perfect everyday scent, much in the tradition of italian men's colognes from the past. almost forgotten species which is so-so surviving in a fragrance world dominated by juvenile sticky sweetness, both designer and niche. a laughable trend. i admire hermes for being brave and different. 10/10

I absolutely love the original Terre EDT, it's my go to choice when I want to feel elevated, polished and gentlemanly. Eau Givree is the same, but it's my choice for spring and summer and early fall. Its super bright in the open and dries down to that soft earthy goodness that Terre is renowned for. This is my favorite from Christine Nagel for the house of Hermes.

Might be an unpopular opinion, but this is the best version of TdH. Doesn't have the "dirtiness" of the original, which I don't like. Eau Fraiche was also great, sadly can't compare cuz it's been discontinued. The citrus here is soo "crispy", cooling, and soothing. Just wish the performance was a bit better, but the scent itself is worth it, esp at a discounter.

This has become my favorite scent, I absolutely love it. Projection is great the first hour, basically it's like an EDT. Second hour it's below average, 3-4h skin scent. Sometimes I detect hints of it for like 7 hours total. Coniferous notes here are a masterpiece. This would be the goat if it performed better. Still it's my favorite fragrance atm.

Bright aromatic citrus mixed with cool, refreshing shaving foam. Simple but effective. Smells very casual but not cheap. Great summer daily workhorse scent when you need something refreshing after shower or something nice for a sunny day. P.S. The drydown on paper strip reminded me the childhood scent of fresh deck of Yu-Gi-Oh cards 20 years ago.

You guys are sleeping on this one. The opening is very refreshing, like a glass of ice-cold lemonade! Then it slowly returns to its original Terre d'Hermes DNA with the dirty vetiver vibe. It is still Terre d'Hermes, just the lemon/orange peel cocktail version! Incredible release in my opinion. Almost a 10/10
