Terre d'Hermes Flacon H 2021 Eau de Toilette

Testing Terre d’Hermes EDT from a 2 ml Hermes sample. While the opening is nothing to write home about the dry down of this is magnificent. A rich, very balsamic, peppery, fresh patchouli, strong geranium and juicy, sweet oranges. I have ordered a sample of this EDT to test because my husband finished his Eau Givree bottle and I was thinking about purchasing this version for summer time wear as something new but from the same line, something masculine and classy but this is totally different from Eau Givree. And in my experience it’s rather suited for colder weather season like spring or fall. Terre d'Hermes Eau de Toilette is way woodier, richer, warmer, earthier than Eau Givree. Both contain a variety of citruses, but in version the citrus fruits are not the dominant ones. It is very beautifully composed and delicious smelling and I love it. But, not as a fall fragrance not for summertime. Super underrated edition of Terre d’Hermes line, I bought the sample on a whim without knowing anything about it, but it’s a great scent. Not heard any reviews of this on social media platforms either. On me, last well but it’s not very diffusive in the air. It’s an EDT with a more than decent performance, one that I would consider adding to my husband’s collection as autumn season approaches! So pleasantly surprised by this. Terre d'Hermes Eau de Toilette is one of those slept on perfumes that deserves more hype without any doubt...

an easy fragrance to wear everyday, an easy signature scent. strangely I like wearing this in the winter more than the summer.

Although it is not perfect in terms of performance, it is a woody, citrus masculine scent. The sillage wears off after 1 hour of spraying, but it leaves a fresh and masculine scent with light orange, vetiver and patchouli on the skin. A very woody scent with a slight orange Longevity: 5-6 hours Sillage: 1-1.5 hours Scent: 9/10

Honestly, I couldn't tell the difference in the beginning notes of the fragrance, but after it dries down, it changes a bit from the original one. The performance is really poor; I can barely smell it after 3 hours.

the dry down woodsy, patchouli is not it's greatest strength although I would wear this again....if I ran out of Dylan Blue or ADGPerfume. 7/10

Much more lighter than the origin and really weaker. This one is more about citrusy notes than and sounds more like a garden from above, not near the ground. Has a little of flint’s sillage, tho. Sadly, not my cup of tea from the collection.

Performance poor ok...but I had this on once and got a call from sombody to ask what I was wearing because his wife had come home and could smell this in the air of where I had been...at least an hour after I left...so the stuff leave a trail and hangs in the air....it also performs nice in the heat but yh ok it's not a projection beast but it makes up for it in quality...my bottle what Hung in the air was a 2021 bottle....it's a beautiful scent if it's done I might get the edp after!!

Bought a full bottle finally. Couldn’t really smell it in the air after ~10 minutes. Sits close to the skin throughout the life of the fragrance. This is one of those that I love the opening so much that it is worth it even if the performance isn’t the best. Hopefully i’m just anosmic.

Why is this the only EDT version listed? I just purchased the EDT for my husband for Christmas, and it would be nice to read about beforehand. It doesn't make sense that there are reviews for every bottle change, but not for the basic EDT. Please fix this, Fragrantica!
