Un Jardin Sur Le Toit

A lot of people say this starts off like Sur le Nil, but to me they're nothing alike. This opens with an unmistakable aroma of fresh green apple skins, a watery and realistic pear juice in the background. It's as sweet as the real thing, but it's not sugared up to go down the well-trodden fruity gourmand path. Which is good, because I hate that path and don't want to be dragged down it kicking and screaming. The magnolia that comes knocking on the door is a tad earthy, and the plus-one it brought to the party is a sharp, chlorophyllic green grass note. The sweetness of the pear and crisp apple skin is a lot quieter with these two stern guests present. On me, the pear actually turns around and leaves entirely. Perhaps there was an argument. The other attendees don't arrive in a particular order come the drydown. What is listed as rosemary but smells a bit basil-ish to me adds an aromatic, much-needed herbal tone to elevate Sur la Toit from being a standard greenish fruity-floral, and a waxy rose note that is straight-up charming even though I flipping hate rose. I hate it! What witchcraft is this, Ellena? Explain yourself, sir, because I despise rose and you've made me love rose HOW HAVE YOU DONE THIS Anyway. Everybody at the olfactory party mingles, zipping in and out, chatting and having a good time - but there is one final attendee. They spend almost all their time lurking in the kitchen, but sometimes they poke their head out, and the party stops. The compost note. It's real. It exists. We were all having so much fun that we forgot it was on the guest list! Vegetal rot that infrequently wafts up from your skin and makes you go "?!", then vanishes before you can string a thought together. "What just happened?" we ask ourselves. This is a perfect Your Mileage May Vary note. To me, though I rarely catch it, it's what secretly grounds the fragrance and holds it back from being *too* sharp, *too* lively, just plain *too much*. Without that note, this perfume would become faintly nauseating over time - overly floral and sweet. Despite my initial confusion and distaste, I need this note or Sur la Toit would honestly not be wearable to me for longer than 20 minutes. I see you, compost, and I get you. Projection decent, longevity poor, personally wouldn't consider it an office scent but... YMMV. For me, it's a date perfume - a fraction more feminine than unisex, a touch bolder than the other Jardins, not trying too hard to allure. And if they ever think they smell compost, they'll lean closer for a second sniff and only find the beguilingly innocent face of Sur la Toit.

Un Jardin Sur le Toit is another of the aromatic symphonies that Jean Claude Ellena gave us during his relevant time at the Hermès house and is my second favorite of the "jardins" collection, (No1 is Sur le Nile Although I don't know if influenced the fact that it was the first one I tried and it was an immediate crush) I feel that both compositions have their similarity and share a certain chord, at least in my opinion, and that is that I feel that the entire collection is linked by an invisible aromatic thread that tends to be aquatic but not the typical blue or marine, but the fresh waters of rivers and ponds and lagoons surrounded by exuberant vegetation. This beautiful eau de toilette is another perfect wonder for those warm spring-summer days (in my country all year), it is sensorial, crystalline and aromatic. At the start, the note of grass is quickly detected, which feels humid, like weeds that have not been pruned for a while, accompanied by apple and pear, both juicy and fresh with the natural sweet spot of ripe fruit, nothing artificial or sweetened, everything this with a fleshy but shy magnolia that does not steal prominence at any time, this initial stage is quite lengthened moderately projected, little by little it loses that fruity chord and on that crunchy green grass a powdery rose appears (I find this note recycled because the rose feels almost identical to the one used in Kelly Caleche edp) which together with Rosemary monopolizes the attention until the end of the life of this fragrance. For many, this is one of the most "successful" jardins because it has a perfect balance and although it is unisex like the entire collection, I feel that like Sur le Nile they can be seen as slightly feminine due to their floral part (although I don't think the fragrances have a gender and my profile demonstrates it well), it is much less exotic than the latter, more bohemian and simple but at the same time very chic and classy.

JSLT, why have I waited so long to review you? Yes, grass, yes, apple. But the sum is more than the parts. Elegant, carefree and casual in its simplicity. You're eating a crisp green apple - not too sweet, but very juicy - and catching wafts of freshly cut grass while getting spritzed with a cooling mist in a light breeze. There's rose but this is not a rose fragrance. Not to me, anyway. If you've ever been to Palm Springs in the angry dry merciless heat of summer, every restaurant has their misters on outside on the awnings all day long and as you walk underneath you can feel the cool mist on your face, evaporating immediately in the desert aridity but so, so refreshing for that moment. This scent is like that feeling. It's a mister of grassy fruity cool freshness. What this fragrance is perfect for is riding a subway in the summer. Spray it inside your shirt on your chest (be generous, it's hard to overspray) and when you're hanging on for dear life in a stifling underground car with your face next to the armpit of someone who not only forgot his deodorant but also apparently had a lot of garlic for dinner last night - and of course he's wearing a tank top, bless his heart - close your eyes, cover your nose with your shirt and breathe deeply until your ride is over. Thank me later.

I have 200 plus scents and always trying more everyday. I have everything from designer, Niche, down to Arabic. I will start with Hermes is always known for fresh, citrus, green, lovely scent. Normally they are not to harsh and probably don’t have huge longevity due to most of them being summertime scents. I have read some of the reviews in here about how it smells generic, artificial, and no depth. Well they are nose blind or just don’t know a unique scent when it smacks them in the face. This scent starts out green, fresh, and a light juicy apple scent. Then it dries down to an absolute beautiful fruity green fresh smell that lingers on your skin making you want to smell yourself over and over. I don’t think I have anything to compare this too, it’s that unique. I feel like a super blue fresh scent made love to a yummy green scent and had this at birth. If you want a blue scent, and love green scents as well, this is your scent. I like blue scents that don’t have a heavy woody base and this does not. I highly recommend this if you want to be fresh with a slight fruit hint and be unique. It’s safe in all scenarios, office, date night, casual, and too good to waste at the gym. I hope this makes sense for all, it will not disappoint!

La Vie en (Rooftop-Garden) Rose... A tribute to seeing life in rosy hues, this is a unisex green & fruity orchard/garden rose scent at its core - inspired by the rooftop gardens at Hermès. I get roses in a orchard/mixed-garden (with grass, apple, rosemary) at the opening, but rose is the velvety substance that carries & projects the rest. I agree that it's fairly linear, but the longer it's on the skin, the more larger-than-life the rose becomes. This doesn't have the popular jammy or vintage vibes that feature in many rose scents, but instead, it's an orchard-garden, fresh & green rose. In addition, this has the Hermes DNA but puts a rosy spin on it. With slightly above average performance due to the rose, this is the perfect scent to wear in the early flushes of new love, or on a trip to Paris in the spring. Edith Piaf would be proud. It's a love for me. 10/10. Enjoy! Update 07/07/24: This really shines in warmer weather. The rose is still really prominent for me, but the Jean-Claude Ellena white-florals are coming through beautifully. It's listed as magnolia but I'm also getting a blurred jasmine. Love it most in the summer.

I ADORE this one! It's my happy scent. When I wear this I feel like I'm wearing it as a treat for my nose. As opposed to wearing something that matches my mood, my outfit, where I'm going or what I'm doing.. if that makes any sense. haha It's just pure unadulterated pleasure for my nose. upon first spritz you get a juicy slightly tart apple and pear with the grass note. Sounds weird, but the grass note gives the perfume just the right balance of something green and earthy. so its not just a fruity floral scent. it makes it interesting. More importantly, the scent of freshly mowed grass evokes the garden image, which is what the concept behind the whole un jardin line. a perfume that also triggers a scent memory of a place or transforms you to an imaginary secret garden somewhere. I don't really get so much magnolia, but the rose is identifiable. doesn't smell too rosy or flowery to my nose. (but I do enjoy florals so... ) the whole this is watery and effervescent, and you can really smell the genius of Jean-claude Elena.

Hermes Un Jardin Sur LeToit is a delightfully bright and uplifting green fragrance that is perfectly suited for warm, sunny days when you want to feel invigorated and perhaps a bit playful. The opening is crisp and green with freshly mown grass tempered by sweet, red apple. The dry down allows the rosemary and floral notes to blossom in a warm and inviting manner. This is far from a beast mode fragrance and sits more closely to the skin. That said, there is enough sillage present to get delightful reminders of just why you chose this scent throughout the day. If you're into neroli notes, Jardin Sur Le Toit layers beautifully with 24 Elixir Neroli creating a sweet and tart, soapy clean fragrance that I personally find enchanting. 24 Elixir Neroli's combination of ginger, neroli, mint, tonka and tea pair so well with the note profile of Jardin Sur Le Toit, that I can't stop smelling my wrists when wearing this intoxicating combination. I hope you enjoy Hermes Un Jardin Sur Le Toit one as much as I do!

I have been wearing it every summer since 2012. Let's say it's my signature summer fragrance. I got very stressed during the first months of the pandemia, I'm a health worker, and I lost 9 Kgs (from 51 to 42). The scent changed on me that summer, it had always been quite rosy with a bit of green, but suddenly I was getting ALL the rosemary just with an echo of the apple and pear. It was lovely that way as well, I enjoyed very much exploring the new vibe. I have recovered some of the lost weight in this time and I have found thatthis year it smells rosy again. So yes, skin chemistry changes with body changes, and we all have different bodies so I can see the different reactions to the same product, this one in particular. But I happen to be in love with it either as a green floral and as a green herbal. It hasn't ever disappointed me.

I enjoy this one very much. Longevity on skin is 4+ hours, but the sillage is moderate. It evokes a rooftop garden through apple flavour gin tonic and giant pink rose floral arrangements on a festive afternoon. The dry down is where the magic happens, there is a smooth and fresh rose that stays for hours and it is also juicy and sour somehow, but on an absolutely positive and mouthwatering way. For me it is not that magical or exotic garden like others mention below but a hip, urban one filled with joy and laughter in the sunshine. And the green grass is not that prominent after a few minutes. Edit: I gave the little sample to my husband who loves it and already considering a full bottle. Which is a win win situation because I did not fell for it that much to buy one and wear regularly but I would enjoy it on him.

It lifts you up, brushes your shoulders with green freshness, and makes you tilt your face toward the sky, as if something wonderful is just about to happen. But this isn’t just any garden. It’s a dream garden—serene, suspended, like a scene from a Studio Ghibli film: glowing, gentle, quietly magical. Every note seems to float, weightless, like petals caught in the sun. Like carrying spring and summer with you. A fragrance that feels like happiness in bloom.

I bought this fragrance based on the notes and Fragrantica comments. It always amazes me, how different perfumes reacts to different person's chemistry. On me- I can smell beautiful green (rosemary and grass) opening and when the time progresses, I smell apples, and pears and also rose and magnolia. I feel like I am in the middle of orchard. I must admit, I was afraid of an apple note, because I couldn't war DKNY Be Delicious in the past- due to my Ph reaction. Fun fact- the first day I wearing Un Jardin Sur Le Toit and I wasn't used to it- I almost asked the lady standing next to me, what does she wear, because it smells beautiful :). The great quality of this fragrance is, that it is distinctive. It doesn't remind me of 3 another fragrances and I feel kind of special wearing it.

Sur Le Toit is the third masterpiece in the Jardin trifecta from the John Claude Ellena Hermes era. I include Mediterranee and Nil as the other two and at least one of three has been a staple in my collection since 2006. My nose has yet to get fatigued, unlike other green aromatic scents I've worn. In Toit, there's a sharp, tangy burst of grass which dries down to bitter apple cores with fresh rose. A crisp bright juicy red delicious apple adds sweetness in the heart. It's marvelously blended and has survived the test of time with minimal to no reformulations. My skin projects this scent and it wears for close to 6 hours with 2 to 4 sprays. As with nearly all great perfumes, the blotter experience ≠ how it wears on the skin.

Leave it to Jean-Claude Ellena to make me fall in love with a perfume with a prominent grass note. As soon as I sprayed this on, I'm back at my country home, surrounded by flowers as I'm mowing the lawn and the scent of a nearby fruit orchard is carried along on a cool breeze. The grass, the flowers, the apples and pears, are so natural as if I am smelling all in the air. Very realistic; I feel like I am there again. Edit - While this is a lightweight fragrance, which I find ideal for warm weather, I am having no performance issues. I used 5 sprays in the morning, and I can still smell it on me when I got home from work in the late afternoon. It is as wonderfully refreshing as if I dove into a cool pool on a hot day. Just ❤

This fragrance is a floral-fruity composition with a green dominance, it opens with notes of apple, pear, grass and a peppery effect. The heart mixes the magnolia with a rose tone. The bottom reveals smells of moist earth and oak moss. After the Mediterranean, the banks of the Nile and the Indian nature, Hermes invites us to the 24 Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris, his historic flagship store. On the top floor of the Hermes house, on the roof, there is an apple tree, a pear tree, a magnolia and even many ‘crazy weeds'. Jean-Claude Elena, the perfumer of the house qualifies the smell that emanates from this garden as a «scent of light and pleasure ». If you like it fresh and clean, you will love this one. 😊

I'm a very picky buyer, and long gone the days I buy perfume on impulse, too many perfumes disappointed me after a few hours or over time. That being said, I kept returning to sniff this one in the store and spray it on me again and again. It's just so calming and makes me want to close my eyes and imagine I'm somewhere in a special garden, far, far away. I eventually gave up and bought it despite the price tag and never regrated it: It's a garden, fresh grass, pear and apple fruits that are just right (and not sweet!) and so much freshness. Just love it and I know when I run out, I'll buy another one. For me it is amazing, it evokes a feeling of longing for something elusive, some secret garden.

I owned it for more than a year, and while I always liked it I kind of let it sit in my closet for a while - and i spent the past two months deep into sampling new stuff. Today I tried it again after a long time and I have to say it's become way juicier, I really do smell the apple now - it was always a delicate, green, rose centric scent for me. Idk if my nose is simply more refined or it the juice developed. I also spritzed it on top of Tiziana Terenzi laudano nero cuz i had sampled it earlier on my wrist, so maybe that's what gave it life? Either way it's a beautiful airy scent, perfect for spring but adequate for summer too. I tried using it in fall and winter and it fell so flat

Mouthwatering juicy apple like a tart apple gummy, but made with only the best organic components. It makes me want to eat green apple candy. Apple is the predominant note to me and it's underlined with a grassy hay note that registers almost like soft leather. As the scent progresses, I am reminded of another JCE Hermes: Pamplemousse Rose, specifically the tart fruit mixing with a cold rose, but instead of grapefruit, it's apple in Sur le Toit. And there is something that goes dusty and piercing like tree pollen or tree bark in high summer, but subtle enough not to offend. It's enjoyable, fresh, fruity without being juvenile and I'm looking forward to wearing it this summer.

I purchased it for myself for sometime ago, but for some reason it worked better on my mum's skin. Maybe I was too young for this fragrance back then... So, I gifted it to my mum. In years, this became her signature fragrance. She absolutely loves it. On her, this fragrance settled with apple and pear notes maturing with rose, and green grass resides from opening, and it feels like a sunbathing over freshly water garden grass with some fruity drink. On me however, the smell of green grass resides very strong over the sweet notes and I can only smell earthy and like a kid who rolled over green grass. I was eighteen back then, so maybe I was a kid to this fragrance.

Un Jardin sur le Toit is a fragrance I keep coming back to. Its simplicity lets you really sit back and appreciate all the notes. The apple and pear create a juicy, decadent fruit accord, backed by dewy green grass, herbal rosemary, rose, magnolia, and potting soil?? (I've seen multiple online sources stating that there are compost notes in here but can't confirm it). Overall, Un Jardin sur le Toit is tantalizingly green and sweet. I thought Un Jardin sur le Nil was my clear favorite, but now I like this one just as much, for different reasons. I think I need a full bottle, it’s just too good. Jean-Claude Ellena at his finest.

i always love the Jardin series created by Ellena because not only they smell really good but have cinematic quality. They aren’t strong in terms of presence throughout their longevity, but they always evoke precised visual of certain landscapes. They linger subtly and persistent by coming and going to always let us know that they last quite long time. They are so perfect to wear in tropical climate, though this one and le Nil are more suitable for the super hot humid days, while la Mousson and Mediterranee bloom better in rainy season.

I took a chance on this one because the notes sounded interesting. I'm so glad I did. This was my daily wear all spring and most of the summer. It smells exactly like it's name - a city rooftop garden in full bloom. I close my eyes and feel like I'm sitting on a bench in the garden eating a crisp apple and listening to the traffic below. There's something dirty in the background of this scent that I absolutely love. It's like the big beautiful flowers are tempered by car exhaust and asphalt. I will be buying another bottle for sure.

I have been wearing this scent for 10 years now. I don’t typically go for the fruity floral profile, but this is very green (grass note) which works for me. It’s a huge compliment getter and most people say because it’s unique to them (again, probably the grass note). Lasts 4+ hours on my skin. I prefer to wear during warmer season but also after it rains — something about this scent and that fresh rain smell works really nicely in my opinion. On my third bottle, which is getting harder and harder to find in this sea of gourmands.

Wonderfully clean scent. Smells like a very bright tea to me with a slight hint of pear. Grassy smell? No. Herbal? Yes. I do not pick up on the apple note whatsoever. It is slightly sweet but not offensive in the least.This fragrance is a crowd pleaser and would make for a nice introductory fragrance. It's fresh, youthful, clean, perfect for a day out shopping. This can be worn by women of all ages. To me personally, it smells like quiet understated luxury. Like what a boutique in the south of France would smell like.

This has been my favorite spring and summer scent for years, and I was finally gifted a full bottle after using samples for years. To me it smells like a very grown up and fresh version of a cucumber melon. I was actually surprised not to see any melon notes. It smells like honeydew on me, and the pear and apple are also very present. This makes me feel like I'm walking through Paris on a sunny day. It feels youthful but mature and very carefree. It lasts really long on me, and a nice moderate sillage.

Un Jardin Sur Le Toit is a roll in the grass, a bite into a Honeycrisp apple, the skin of a Bartlett pear, the wafting of tea roses, and lounging in an Adirondack chair. Water lilies in a reflecting pool. This is what the dry down feels like. Summer zen, taking notice of the "now," a garden in the height of summer, surrounding the Peace Pagoda, frogs saying "hello" from the water's surface, burgeoning greenery all around. This is another great watercolor from Jean Claude Ellena.

I like this perfume a lot, it has something familiar for me and maybe for all of us who are from Europe and have been in orchards with apples and pears. it also has the freshness that I look for in a perfume as well as the crystalline presence that the perfumes of Jean Claude Ellena and the house of hermes have (one of my favorite creation of his, is eau de la campagne by sisley) . for me it is the perfume that wins my preference from the jardin series of the Hermes house

This is such a crisp scent. It makes me feel like I am in an orchard in the early morning after the rain. The scent of grass and apple is heightened. It is just as ephemeral unfortunately as the Jardin line doesn't last very long on me. This one actually lasts longer on me than Sur Le Nil which is my other favourite in this line. I love this and it's one of my summer signatures. I wish there more green and bright fragrances like this one and I haven't found one like it.

I associate this scent with a special event I wore it for, but I wish I hadn't because I would love to make it my every day! This is for people who love truly FRESH, mouth-watering scents. It is undoubtedly the most youthful (and potentially least complex) of the Jardin line, but it still smells expensive. It's extremely difficult to find a fresh/fruity perfume that smells elegant and not sweet -- Sur le Toit passes with flying colors.

It smells light, fruity, and green. As someone who is not a fan of floral notes, I like that it's subtle and smooth here. Reminds me of a garden in a drizzly rain with pear and apple trees, that's why the name is an accurate description. It's not a strong and intimidating smell, so I agree that this is not a unisex fragrance at all. It lean towards feminine and best to wear during summer. Very uplifting to smell!

A very lightweight, airy, green, herbal, floral magnolia scent. It almost smells like celery and you get that subtle buttery note from the magnolia. It's very blended so you won't be able to distinguish the separate notes. I like this better than Un Jardin Sur De Nil. It seems more unique. Very beautifully done, however, very fleeting. Smell: 9 out of 10 Longevity: 6 out of 10 Feminine For reference, I'm female.

Grass, Apple, Rose; it’s a beautiful union. It’s just a simple green and juicy fragrance. Way less dank and dirty than the Nil but a great composition that offers a different experience. While Nil evokes gardening, Toit is a walk through the public gardens. Fresh cut grass and rose bushes, maybe having an apple while you sit on a bench. Good longevity, meh projection but I smell it on myself often. Overall 8/10

Beautiful, juicy, very photo-realistic sliced apple in a bed of lush green grass. Beautiful and very evocative. Fantastic for spring and summer, and dries down to a pretty, rounded rose. The perfume smells lush, juicy, and gives the vibe of a well-watered garden. Very nice, and great for people who don't like "perfumey" smells. Beautiful. Average-poor longevity (3 hours) with decent projection.

This perfume is a LOVE for me! One of the great, green aromatic fragrances with an authentic grassy smell that is as refreshing as the real thing. However, the bottle I have now, an eau de toilette from 2020, feels like a watered down version of the original. You have to spritz yourself pretty hard to get the sillage going. The rose comes out after a while and rounds it out nicely.

I love this so much that it’s difficult to find the right words. Ellena is an impressionist painter. Green touches of unripe apple, yellow drops of acidic mimosa, a lot of crushed violet woody leaves, shadowy bitter-warm rosemary, sweet sunlight pouring like a fleshy white flower, a clever splash of watercolor juice. And this purple rose petal, playing hide and seek.

Super fun, dewy grass-apple fragrance (although my first thought was wild strawberries or rhubarb, apple comes later). Quite fruity but with a fair dose of green notes in it. Tart and crisp with a finishing hint of floral sweetness in it. Immediately after spraying it does smell like dill, but it makes me love it even more :D I wish it would last longer!

What an uplifting green scent. Good longevity, and great scent. I’m kind of becoming obsessed with this. I layered it with Guerlain Vetiver EDT and I really enjoyed that as well. More men should not be too shy to smell like this. Really optimistic, with a crisp stemmy quality, that is perfectly balanced with the woods and florals. Smells like happiness.

Late breakfast. You woke up on rumpled sheets, shuffled to the kitchen without getting dressed, sliced ripe fruits, brewed a cup of green tea, and sat by an open window. Snip, snip, snip. Your loved one is in the garden, trimming the rose bushes beneath the window. The sun pierces through the branches, gently embracing you. The whole summer lies ahead.

Delicious green fruit and subtle flowers, grass, wetness. This puts me in a cheerful and peaceful mood, to me it’s more tropical greenery, tall grass, after-rain mood, drops of water falling from big leaves... than a rooftop garden. Low rain clouds mixed with clear patches, perfect heat that doesn’t suffocate.. inland tropical island. Feel-good aroma!

I had this since 2011. This smells differently when you have on the paper and when sprayed on the skin. The perfume changes into medium dark musky after note and i received many compliments on my perfume when i wear it. It stands out especially if you go to the bar or crowded area. My husband keep buys this for me because he loves this smell on me.

Absolutely love this one! It's a dream... Fresh, or even better, refreshing. I’d bathe in this. Too bad I can't smell it a few hours after spraying, that’s literally the only flaw. It’s like biting into a crisp, juicy apple while sitting in the shade of a beautiful garden that’s just been freshly watered on a summer morning. Pure, clean vitality.

Early spring in Barcelona, walking on the narrow cobblestone streets and flower stalls of La Rambla. Suddenly, it rains. You take shelter in a food market and stop for a glass of champagne. You step out once clear; the fresh rain has sunk the aroma of early blooms and green fruits to street level. You take it in carefully; it won't last long.

Love this. Fresh crisp apple, pear, dewy grass, subtle hint of rose petal and stem. A little sweet but not cloying. Well blended, no sharpness. On me, the fruit is up front and the floral emerges in the dry down, the dewy grass is constant. I don’t really get the herbal notes listed. A joyful sunny day fragrance.

Fruity and green. When I have first bought this, I detected the rosemary and sweet grass smell a lot more which I enjoyed but now I am picking up the apple and pair about a year later, which I don’t mind I like it more When I detected the green herbs more. It’s still a lovely spring and summer scent nonetheless.

A green and fresh creation, like a crisp, warm, and gentle spring morning wrapped in a veil of dew and sunbeams. It feels like a wonderful garden, bringing a sense of calm and serene pleasure. Longevity and projection are rather fleeting, but the fragrance radiates the essence of spring or early summer.

Smells really fresh, like cut grass and morning dew. It's not very sweet or feminine, it's really just for those of us who love a realistic garden smell. Quite unisex. It's a smell that makes me happy and reminds me of growing up in the countryside and playing in the grass fields on summer days.

Wow. Playful and evocative, but still totally wearable. As the day went on the scent shifted from green grass, to the incredibly realistic and almost bitter skin of an apple, to fresh rose, and back again. Close your eyes and you'll forget you're not in an orchard--it's that real.

I'm new to fragrances but I tried this today and it is soo lovely... It reminds me of green stems of geranium, grass stained knees and the sour apple tree from my childhood. I really love the earthy grassiness of this mixed with fruit and fresh florals.

First smelled this at a duty free and couldn't stop smelling my cuff for days. Finally bought it and I absolutely love it, one of my go to's in spring and summer. It literally smells like the color green, lush, planty, wet, fresh, natural, uplifting.

I love a green fragrance, so I was looking forward to trying this one. I'm just getting the fruits. It's sweet and I guess pleasant enough but where is the newly mown grass? For me, a green fragrance is Chanel no 19. This is nothing like that.

This is crisp, grassy and the sour part smells like a mixture of sour apple and rhubarb. I imagine that some people may detest such a combination but I like it. I also imagine this could be layered with something sweet, I will definitely try.
