Figfever

Last spring I purchased Phikosykos and it was too green for me (though I'm considering trying it again for daytime wear). I've been wanting fig but was looking for Vilhelm when I purchased Figfever. The bottle was cracked open so I took a whiff and purchased on impulse. So glad I did because this is a nice change of pace for me. As previously mentioned, the fig is juicy and sweet. It even presents green, but still creamy enough to appeal to my sense. On my skin, I got more of the cinnamon spice. I look forward to trying more Hermetica.

The scent of figs! It's a really fruity and lovely one that tastes excellent. The fig flavor is luscious and fresh. Along with the fruits, there are a lot of flowers and grassiness. There's also a little spiciness in the background to balance things out. It's quite nicely crafted. Longevity is prolonged, silage is modest, and projection is robust. This gives off a pleasant, happy, and uplifting attitude. This is one I adore wearing!

The first few seconds I didn't really like it, it starts off quite sharp for a fig scent. After that, it mellows into a very jammy fig that could easily have leaned syrupy, but the dryness of thecardamom and something with an astringent effect balance it out in a way that feels resinous instead, like sun warmed amber. Smells like you spent a summer day harvesting lush green figs. Warm and cozy.

Very fruity, obviously there’s a very prominent fig note. The fig note is very juicy and fresh. You get a lot of florals and grassiness alongside the fruits. There’s also a very subtle spiciness in the background. It’s incredibly well made. I think this is very unisex although I picture it on a vibrant mature lady who’s very classy and chic in a colourful way.

I liked it but not as much as Diptyque's fig. I think my favorite fig perfumes are the ones by Diptyque, montale (very intense and dark), and Pulp by Byredo (tangy, sour, "rotten"). This fig is kinda non unique and is the middle between all of them. It's not overly dark nor smoky, it's not sweet nor tangy. I still like it but I am not impressed!

Fig tea and a tangy blackcurrant that smells a bit like sweet pickle juice. The opening reminds me of rain over fig leaves, and then the dry-down becomes more candied and apple-fresh. Even though it's not my favorite fig, it has character, and I always enjoy wearing it.

A true fig, aromatic, sweet, green, and woody. This is what I expected from Ficco Nero by Simone Andreoli. I love it, it is very unique and fresh, although I would see myself wearing it more at night than at the office. 8/10

juicy sweet-tart slightly under-ripe fruit basket I really don't think it leans masculine, really hard to imagine on a guy... I'd say juicy fresh not overly sweet pleasant summer scent for a young lady

masculine fig! very woody but there's a slight jamminess to the end of each sniff. i also like the brightness that the citrus notes add! probably not my scent but will be passing onto my partner...

Fresh and clean. Works for a variety of occasions, seasons, etc. This smells like Debaser on me; not identical but if you have one you probably don't need the other.

Came across this on my quest to find as many fig fragrances as possible. This comes off overly fruity, the fig is distinctly there but feels like it’s more a part of a fruit salad than being the star of the show. There is a hint of apple shampoo, Lily of the valley providing a touch of fresh green, and a whisper of warmth and wood notes. However I’m not quite sure I would categorise this as a “green scent” which I am a big fan of such as CDG’s Amazingreen or ELDO’s You or Someone Like You. Still, this is a nicely blended fruity fresh fragrance that is pleasant overall. But nothing special in my opinion. It feels a little too “busy” with the notes, although remembering my aim is to find fig as the highlight. In comparison I happened to also wear Le Labo’s Tea Matcha earlier today which is one of my favourites, recognising my preferences are leaning towards woody-fig’s. EDIT - after sitting with it for a while, it is quite “fever-ish” as a previous comment said. Sickly sweet.

I have to say this fragrance is mediocre at best. The concoction rather comes close to fig candies than raw figs. The fig note here smells too sour and overly citrus-fruity for my liking. I wish there was more greenness or milkiness to balance the tanginess. Despite the name, the fig is more of a part of the overall scent in my opinion. This is going to sound weird, but what I get from this fragrance is a picture of a bowl of Caesar salad with figs, oranges, and pickled dill on top. I can see this kind of fragrance definitely can be somebody's cup of tea, but, unfortunately, wasn't for me.

You name the perfume Figfever, you start with a fig and after that throw inside everything else you have around..? The name and the bottle were promising something green, leafy and fresh, but what i got was a fruity cinnamon tea. Black currant, plum, apple, mandarin and rose... but i smell no fig. In the dry down musty patchouli. There's something old-fashioned... air freshener kind of vibe. Mature lady, hippie soul, with a house full of stuff & memories drinks her tea, sitting on a bench in her backyard.

The Hermetica line is classy. The heavy, rich jade bottles and well blended, long-lasting fragrances make their scents a favorite for me. Figfever on first spray is PICKLES (and I wonder if that’s just the tart green apple coming in at full force with the dry fig), but it dries down into a clean, green fresh scent. The floral peeks out in the drydown. It’s a lovely unisex fragrance.

I don't mind this, but not one of my favorites. It's a bit of a clean fresh sweet, rather than a full on sweet, which makes it an easy inoffensive one to wear for a variety of ages. Not one of my top picks from Hermetica, but I love the brand and philosophy, and can appreciate this one.

The perfume leans masculine, green aromatic scent that makes you think that you are standing under a green fig tree. It doesn't project any sweetness from the fruit, but mostly green and woody notes. I think it can be very beautiful on a man.

From all Hermetica scents from the discovery kit, that was the only outstanding one. Green, masculine fig, with hints of fruitiness. It`s a 5/10.

Less pickle than santal 33 but still more pickle than expected 🥒

This is a unisex fragrance that leans toward the masculine side. The most prominent notes I detect are wood, myrrh, and amber, transitioning into fruitier notes. The overall impression is a warm, resinous, and slightly mysterious fragrance. It makes me think of a sophisticated man in his 50s or 60s, with a pocket square tucked into his blazer and a novel in hand. While it’s not a fragrance I would personally choose to wear, I can appreciate its character and composition. It’s well-crafted, just not to my taste. I would give it a 5/10.

I am big fan of green woody fig leaf scents and this is just not hitting the mark for me. The black currant in the opening is overpowering any of the other notes on my skin. Once it has dried down it smells more like a minty black currant, it reminds me of a herbal ribena situation. It smells tart (which I like) but sticky (which I don't like). It is fruity but I am not even getting fig fruit. Disappointing as a fig scent.

Emphasis on the fever... this smell makes me feel ill.

I paid $140 for a 100mL bottle but it's fully worth it. My first ever purchase from HP and it did not disappoint. The scent reminds me more of a creamy and juicy, delightful apple fragrance more than anything associated with the fig leaves in the top notes. The longevity on skin is great at 7-9 hours, and longevity on clothes is eternal. I sprayed some while wearing a shirt that I wore again 2 weeks later and still could smell the apple. The brand overall is stupendous value if you're looking for a high-quality alcohol-free and vegan fragrance (synthetic musk). This is a quintessential fig staple for your collection, better for colder months as it’s potent and heavy and can cause a headache if oversprayed. It made my purchase of Figue by Molinard redundant and I had to return the latter.

creamy fig & soft woods (maybe even something minty?) figfever is my first perfume from hermetica and they've laid such a good impression on me! this scent is so soft and approachable, definitely a 'my first fig fragrance'. 9/10 - scent 7/10 - bottle design 6/10 - projection 6/10 - longevity 7/10 - overall

This is a nice simple scent despite all of the notes listed. It's like a good shampoo scent without the soapiness. If you like figs and fruits and you just want to smell like that, then this is the one for you. It also lasts for quite a while, I'm very impressed with these Hermetica scents in that regard.

there’s a weird pickle-y note that kinda ruins the whole thing for me. however, if this note wasn’t there, it’s a sweet creamy soft fig fragrance. i really wish that note wasn’t there to ruin it, because it’s beautiful otherwise.

It is fruity but there is an underlying, masculine quality to it. I love woody and spicy scents under that umbrella but this leans very fresh and minty.

woody, greem, a bit powdery. Fig nowhere to be found (maybe opening a little bit!) And smells a bit like expensive natural air refreshener

This is a very classy, fresh smell. I give it a 7/10 rating.

The dry down smells exactly like Dear Polly.
