Multilotus

I am not really a big fan of florals but now and then a floral fragrance announces itself to me and I fall deep in love. This is the case with Hermetica’s Multilotus. Although linear and may seem simple note-wise, it is what it is and I love it for that. It blasts of lotus flowers, osmanthus and hints of citrus. Very fresh and aquatic and flowery. Just like the lotus flower in a calming zen pond. One this I love about this house is because it’s alcohol free, the scent stays on your skin for a long time! Longevity is really great! Sillage and projection is moderate at arms lenght. Not so loud but not too timid. Perfect for a hot day out, a stroll through the park or even on an evening of wine and banter.

Thank you, @trabuquera for mentioning Kilian! I was going nuts trying to track what this reminds me of! It’s Kilian Prelude to Love, which I love and has been discontinued! This fragrance reminds me of how our skin plays such a role in how perfume will perform. I read some of the reviews. On my skin, it’s soft, natural, ethereal. Just gorgeous.

truly skin level. one of those id like to douse myself with out of the shower or before bed. simple, clean, soft, very subtly sweet like dried apricots (thanks osmanthus). kinda reminds me of saliva in a hot way? or a gymnastics mat? it should be a basic crowd pleaser but something is weird despite how straightforward it is. im obsessed.

This is such a lovely fragrance. My bottle had leaked a little in transit and I immediately registered a lovely scent coming through the package. I find it fresh and clean. It really is going to be one of my Spring/Summer favourites.

An extremely pleasant clean, green, blossomy machine which reminds me of the smell of some forgotten hair salon's shampoo ... sounds like faint praise, which I don't mean it to be, though this is far from my usual perfume home ground. Vague echoes of things like Zoologist Panda and/or Kilian Bamboo Harmony - like them, it's a very grassy-green treatment, not at all bitter-galbanum though, and the floral element is kept discreet and fresh rather than overbearingly blowsy. Nicely balanced, and does smell very very classy ... but maybe not quite classy enough, or strongly-performing enough, to justify the price point. Might be heaven-sent in a heatwave but for my nose it's a little too toned-down for a downright love. One delightful (or maybe sinister) thing about it: bees LOVE this stuff. I was tailed home for at least 300m at alarmingly little social distance by a confused bumblebee which abandoned a bunch of actual real flowering flowers in a park to harass me and buzz 4-6 inches from my neck instead. Hermetica might be mostly synthetics but they're clearly good enough to confuse animals other than humans. So watch out if the sound of this appeals to you but you're allergic to bee stings... it might get painful.

This is my first time with a "lotus" fragrance, and I must say, I really appreciate it! This perfume is a clean, green, and watery (aquatic) floral. I find it very pleasant and easy-to-wear, suiting most occasions (except, probably, a steamy date night). It makes me think of going for a stroll on a mild spring/summer/fall day, where you can kind of smell flowers from the gardens wafting over to you, and the grass around you, and the sunshine on your face. I wouldn't buy a bottle of this, but I will finish my sample with happiness.

Wow, this lotus is beautifully aquatic but at the same time not a weak lotus blossom, but a strong, fully grown, almost woody plant. Fragrant flower along with some lotus root (I have smelled it dried, believe it is being used in Asian cuisine). Some overall, a unique composition, and not too linear despite being one note based. Performance is unique. It is decent, with good lasting power, but somehow lasting in a different way than regular epd - hard to describe :)

I sprayed, wrote down my impression then read someone below mentioned mud. Yes! I smell the same but I described it as wet clay....there is indeed a very odd note in here. Along with the wet earth note I pick up bergamot in the opening, and a stagnant bog with lotus flowers past their prime during the dry down. This floral smells swampy and soapy, and I am 100% positive that I have never written those two words together in a sentence before. An overall kind of organic soap smell with a hippie vibe scent. Pushing the ok button once again.

Very nice flowery soap. literally smells like something i wash my hands with every day.

When layered w/Hermetica's Source1, this really reminds me of Hermes Jardin Sur Le Nil. W/o Source1 though it really just gives me wet true floral but could be a household product. Good for layering but has trouble standing on it's own. Safe but not FBworthy imho

Don't like it. It reminds me of a hotel room. Strange floral powdery scent.

Hermetica Multilotus is a fragrance that’s explicitly mostly floral in the note breakdown but is quite green in execution. I do get a bit of a lotus vibe, in that respect, a bit of watery green woody blend, with a pinch of citrus, florals, woods, and musk. It’s among the most agreeable of what I’ve tried of a very agreeable collection from Hermetica, apt for warm weather, unisex, and certainly a good fit for those who dig fragrances that lean somewhat green and vegetable-like. As usual, the feasibility of the pricing ($195 for 100ml / $135 for 50ml, the same for the whole line) depends on the wearer, but it’s good that it’s under the $2/ml mark at the 100ml size. Still, it seems like a little bit of a stretch for something that feels generic or done before. Multilotus is nice but isn’t as exciting at any point as Megaflower was for me the other day. 6 out of 10

This water-based perfume is so light as to be useless to me. Looking at the notes list, the thought of being able to perceive 90% of those notes is somehwat laughable. If I bury my nose in my skin, I can get a generic, green aquatic floral smell. That's about it. I can't tell if it's a tinge of calone, or the actual water/glycol substrate used here, but there is something "saliva" in both smell and texture on my skin. I really had hoped to like Multilotus, as it has apparently been discontinued, and is now available on discounters very cheaply.

my favourite from this hermetica line. gorgeous lotus flower with green stems, tender powdery petals and a slightly bitter, almost woody heart. it represents lotus as a whole, not just the flower. if you ever had a chance to visit any asian flower market, this is the exact smell of the lotus section. lasts about 2 hours, maybe a bit longer.

Lotus handsoap. Soapy sweet lotus with hints of lime is what i got from this. It's very delicate and sort of (partially) clean. I can't detect the lotus that big so is the osmanthus as it's like a big chunk of lotus, osmanthus, soap, and lime all together. I can't say anything about this other than it's balanced and interesting. fair.

this is nuts, but to my nose, multilotus reminds me of grape flavoring and red door, like you're sucking on a blowpop that grandma was keeping in her purse. i've been kind of marathoning these hermatica scents today, so I'm going to give my nose a rest and try again, but the white florals are strong with this one

Musty, plain lotus scent but I cannot imagine how or why someone would buy this as a perfume. I feel nauseous wearing this. If you want a much nicer version of an aquatic floral that is fresh and aromatherapeutic, try Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gioia for women.

Oh this was definitely not for me. It smells fresh at first then dries down somewhat plastic like. Very synthetic dry down. I wouldn't recommend blind buying this, especially with the price that comes with it.
