Redmoon

Stunning!!! This fragrance is very sexy, it opens spicy, you can feel the safron and the sweet amber, it reminds me of a night out in the city, lots of leather coats, high heels, boots and fancy dresses. I love love love this! when it dries down is still woody and sweet but with the vetiver note that adds a slightly bitter back! ugh! just amazing. Silage is strong and impeccable, and it last for ever on my skin, I sampled this but I am getting a big bottle asap! if you want something sexy genderless and very outstanding get this! is completely different and delicious!

I absolutely adore this fragrance. It's like all the notes come together to kick a** on the dancefloor. Like any other Hermetica this frag blends in really well with my skin. This is by far my favourite from this house, cannot get enough of it. I'm worried it's going to be discontinued though. I got my bottle on sale...

Herbal tea (Maté) w/ a twinge of something vaguely bitter, a puff of saffron + something crisp & green. In evolution, I am transported into the workshop of a 19th century saddler. The leather embraces me warmly..I feel comforted. I inhale deeply & snuggle into the scent. A very unique blend of novelty & contentment. 😌

Redmoon is my first leather fragrance and I love it! Quiet, green, and a touch of spice upon a leather canvas. It is understated luxury and Jade 888 [same house] also has that feel. The Hermetica perfumes last for several hours. Love!

This is the kind of fragrance Su Li-zhen from In The Mood For Love would wear. Yes, it is similar to BR540 but imo, much more refined and balanced to the nose. It still has that metallic note that put me off in BR540 but more toned down. On my skin it turned fresh and even more leathery than it already is. A night scent, leaning more feminine. Redmoon is on my skin right now and I can get occasional wafts of it for the past 30 minutes so I wouldn't say it sits close to skin, but it won't leave a trail either. Overall a great alternative for those who want the BR540 profile but didn't like its composition. It's not my taste so I won't purchase fb, but I like this fragrance and can't wait to try more samples from this house.

Redmoon has Baccarat 540 opening with leathery and metallic notes as base. It's perfectly unisex. If Baccarat is too sweet for you or you're anosmic to it.Redmoon might be a good option

Well done and balanced fragrance. It has the typical Memo crispness and is long lasting. Smells unique and premium.

The Daughter of BR540 and Ganymed.

I sampled this awhile back but couldn't put it on my sample shelf because it wasn't in the data base yet. This is very metallic. It has this harsh metallic tang upon smelling it that is off putting. I don't know if it is the pink pepper combined w/ the leather note but that is my estimation as to what is causing that harshness in this fragrance. I am very picky about leather or suede notes in perfume. I like my leather to be very smooth, like a raw hide that hasn't been over treated. Leather in a fragrance should conjure up images of well worn saddles or a well worn leather jacket. They have the patina of age and love about them. Leather in a fragrance should not smell like a newly dyed and freshly made belt or purse etc... My Mother was a leather craft person and I grew up w/ the smell of leather. Quality leather smells warm and inviting. Over treated leather, that has been dyed or overtreated can smell very harsh and have a metallic tang. Perfumers should in my opinion use leather notes in fragrance w/ care. The smell of good leather is warm and inviting. The smell of a hide that has been overtreated is harsh, unpleasant and that is what this perfume is, harsh and unpleasant. I see that Leather is not listed in the notes in this magazine but leather was listed as a note on the sample card from Hermetica. Believe me this is a leather (dyed, new jacket smell) fragrance

Very close to Baccarat rouge, but way spicier in my opinion. In the opening I felt a LOT of red pepper, so much that it felt medicinal and almost like I had put my nose in a pot full of peppers. If you like strong scents like baccarat rouge, you will enjoy this since after a while it sinks into the skin and transforms into a similar fragrance to that one. However, to me it is headache inducing, since I really don't like peppery scents. Pass for me.

Why is this called Red Moon? Not an eclipse of a full moon. I do like it a lot, but it should be called Hi Ho Silver! or Saddle up! Leather saddle rubbed with amber resin to make it shine. Even the bergamont/orange blossom is like just like saddle soap. Masculine, Polo man is the image it invokes not a female redmoon time. It does share a couple of amber with saffron notes at the top with baccarat rouge 540 hence using red in the name perhaps, but the pink peppercorn does not make it red, it makes it harsh silver with the vetiver and violet leaves and maybe some ISO in there, so screechy metallic it makes my teeth hurt. Baccarat has the burnt candy marshmallows on fire to make it red and smooth. Redmoon is a lovely leather amber silver lone ranger riding through the woods with some small meadow wildflowers getting trounced. Saddle up!

WOW, sooo sexy!!! got this as a sample, this one really grew on me - I wear it for a nightout with a leather jacket, its also so good daytime with more subtle scents. I am a huge red pepper, musk and amber fan, so i layer with glossier you or JHAG NAP, it's very spicy and crisp, and sensual. Def a must of you want to smell mysterious and like unisex scents, this doesn't smell super perfumey BUT the longevity is insane, I smell it the next day on my clothes and hair. I don't think i've smelt anything quite like it - stunning I ran out and kept thinking about it so i bought the full size :)

Without looking at the notes or description I immediately thought that the opening is very reminiscent of Baccarat Rouge 540 I called saffron, amber, pink pepper and aromatics. Could have been a nice dupe because the quality of Hermetica is good and the notes of this one are very interesting but it's a tad bit unbalanced and saffron is a bit too dominant... I am not completely in the drydown yet, maybe it will improve
