Spiceair

This smells incredible after fresh rain - the humidity adds something to the fragrance; but wear it on a hot, dry day and you'll be disappointed.

This is a masculine freshy. Totally get an upscale Nautica vibe, which I dig. It's a little dirtier, more earthy, which makes it feel a little more unique than just your typical aromatic fare. It's nice. 6/10

Wow, I am having a COMPLETELY different olfactory experience than the rest of you!! On me, this smells like cigarettes for about the first hour after it's sprayed. As in, I have just been sitting in a room with a bunch of chain smokers, and I am covered with their second-hand smoke. It's REALLY intense (and not, to me, in a good way!). It must be the way oakmoss presents itself on my skin, because I've had this issue with scents before... The drydown is fantastic (mildly citric and sweet, very green, and a hint of spice), but that first part is hard to get through! For that reason, I'm voting it an "ok" rather than a "like". It's DEFINITELY nothing like I had expected it to be! ;) ***UPDATE*** When I came home from work, my husband told me I smelled like I had been smoking, and it was from where this had rubbed off on my shirt! Yikes!

Very familiar with no surprises at all. For those into wet shaving, a not too complicated barbershop smell. Bought it second hand and happy with just that.

There’s a reason why this has a low rating. Working my way through my discovery box, I pulled out Spiceair because I liked the name. But instead of exotic spices transporting me to a Marrakesh market, I smell aldehydes and indiscernible green notes transporting me to Mall of America. Yes, it’s that bad.

Green but not of a distinct definable origin, like grass or trees, just...green. The "spice" component comes off as nutmeg to me rather than cinnamon.

This one was so strong! It smelled like really strong kitchen cleaner. Just horrible.

Continuing my sampling of the Hermetica line via my sample set from Perfumology with Spiceair, not so aptly named since, as most other commentary suggests, it’s a green/woody mix primarily, with some slightly spicy and aquatic touches. Those that appreciate some of the more vegetable-leaning scents will likely appreciate Spiceair, but it’s hard to describe—it’s not particularly overly woody, spicy, or green, but rather, some amalgam of the three It’s somewhat fresh, too, and it leans fresher and more transparent than it does rich and dense, for sure. The notes themselves support this: “fresh notes” (?), bergamot, green moss, cinnamon, and cedarwood. It’s a tough sell for me since I’m sort of blasé toward the scent itself, but as with most of the Hermetica scents I’ve smelled thus far, Spiceair is agreeable enough, but it just doesn’t move the needle for me in a positive way. Like Sandalsun, though, I could easily see this working for others, so I’d encourage those interested to check it out. 5 out of 10

Green green grass. Very green dew, just like the green field after a heavy rainy day as you can smell the rain, the green fresh grass, the moist soil, and fresh white floral scent. The oakmoss is a conquered note in here and there isn't any cinnamon at all. It's to those who loves nature, rain, and fresh grass. Cute.

there is indeed something soapy and cosmetic about this. sure, it's green, but it's no chlorophyl/lawn clippings level. it's a fun scent and one I'm enjoying, but not something I would usually reach for. there is something floral in the background, possibly white floral. nonetheless, pleasant, but not 100% for me...

Nice but rather typical, department store style fragrance. I don't know which exactly to compare it to, but it's not unique; and definitely not the best in the line, IMO. I get moss but mostly "water note", typical in most mainstream men's fragrances. No grass., no green, no nature.

Spring Scent: 4/10 It's green, not really my cup of tea. Longevity 6/10 Sillage 3/10

What a disappointment. This smells like a slightly green Nautica Voyage
