Yummy warm, honeyed vanilla. Sweet, a bit spicy...like singed caramel. Perfect for layering, too.

spicy, fizzy, and sweet like a concentrated vanilla coca-cola gummy syrup. i actually enjoy it but it’s not something i reach for often especially since i live in a very hot and humid climate but when i do (when i know i’ll be mostly spending the day in a place with AC), i do get compliments on it. projects quite a bit but not overwhelmingly so and lasts long.

It’s not terrible but definitely has got that sour lactonic flavor going on here. I get tonka with slightly playdoughy coconut and warm spices.

Soft and cozy. A warm, sweet scent with hints of spice and vanilla. Feels comforting, like a gentle hug. Great for cooler weather.

This does not smell at all like you’d expect given the notes. The most prominent note is cinnamon and the rest is just muddled and vague. Not very sweet and doesn’t project much. I definitely don’t get caramel. Maybe some bergamot... it smells like when you walk down the candle aisle at the store. A definite pass and super disappointing.

I was told to expect a milky caramel vanilla, yet the initial spray was sharp and floral... After an hour or so, the dry down was sweeter and more caramel-esque, but this perfume was definitely not what was I was expecting from the way it had been described to me as a sweet caramel gourmand ૮꒰ ྀི◞ ‸ ◟ ྀི꒱ა

Soft sweet cinnamon spice, fresh spicy geranium and tonka in the opening diluted with a fresher bergamot that doesn’t result in anything too bright. Smells like a softer and sweeter Cavort with caramel but still not too sweet. Maybe it’s the geranium and cinnamon creating that association. I don’t really get a bitter davana note in either, which is featured in both. Anyways, Tonkandy begins intimately and warms up to moderate projection with the caramel showing up earlier only on clothes, lasting 5-6 hours. On my skin, it remains intimate and evaporates in an hour, never reaching moderate projection with the caramel barely noticeable. On my clothes, the scent does remain linear after the opening maintaining a caramel, tonka, rose that is supported with some herbal, gummy accord. Maybe that’s the davana or the cinnamon still at play, making this unique. Not what I expected but it is a nice “non-gourmand” caramel fragrance, the caramel more obvious in the dry down. You can tell the caramel will [hopefully] appear earlier and strengthen as the fragrance sits for longer. A lovely fragrance but the gummy cinnamon does make me a little nauseous but that’s a personal thing. At the moment, I can’t think of anything that smells really close to this. Revisiting 11 months later on 18Aug2024, the caramel is more apparent than the spices, that haven't left completely. It's more delicious but in a milk caramel butter way and not a toasted, nutty, or popcorn way. I'm not sure when it became like this but I was right that the caramel will pop out more with time.

I was surprised that the reviews for this one are not more positive. I love it. It's warm and spicy while still a musky skin scent. It has a nutty gourmand quality due to the Tonka bean. Tonka paired with the vanilla and musk in the base makes this very versatile. I don't get an overwhelming cinnamon as others have noted - it's present but just adds warmth to the other notes. One thing sort of unique about it - my fiance mentions every time I wear it that he gets a slight latex/rubber ballon sort of smell - not in an unpleasant way but I think that shows how differently folks can interpret the Tonka. It's very long-lasting. I've read elsewhere that this perfume has a high concentration of perfume oil and that contributes to how long-lasting it is. I do notice it almost lives a bit of an oily residue but not in a bad way. For me - its a strong like - borderline love - and I imagine wearing it frequently in the fall.

Sweet vanilla, honey undertones, some kind of that figgy or iris note underneath -- the one I always seem to get whenever vanilla is blended with florals. Very sweet; turning anosmic to the sweetness. Sunscreen undertones. Synthetic. Dry down has more florals -- soft homogenous white florals + sweetness; modern and well-blended.

The notes are deceiving so if you’re expecting a caramel candy this isn’t the one for you. The top notes are quite strong and the cinnamon leaf lasts well into the dry down. The vanilla and caramel notes are toned down while the floral notes become more prominent. This is definitely not blind buy safe.
