Tonka Majestic

Tonka Majestic is all about Tonka Beans as the name suggests. Many fragrances offer Tonka as one of the many notes, but this fragrance is different. This is packed by Tonka and it’s all about the smell of this amazing spice. In many countries Tonka Beans are impossible to get due to prohibition but I was able to get them in Europe and when I first time opened the jar with tonka beans I was so amazed (like a kid when they first time discover a new flavor). It’s divine, narcotic and it will complete “gets you”. So many prominent gourmand notes coming from a single spice. It’s bitter almond, sour-cherry and sweet vanilla. When I sprayed a sample of Tonka Majestic for the first time it immediately reminded me moment when I first time opened that jar with tonka beans. I was amazed and happy there is finally a fragrance that is all about this sweet/bitter and creamy smell suitable for colder weather slightly mixed with boozy rum & sweet/powdery cinnamon note. I had to get a bottle immediately. It’s unisex fragrance and every-time I wear it will elevate my mood and cover me with narcotic & most divine smell. Tonka bean is a great “liar” for your brain because if you don’t know the spice you will swear there is vanilla, cherry liquor & almond. Performance is solid 6-7 hours and definitely worth a bottle for me as a Tonka lover (who loves it for both olfactory experience & cooking). Stunning creation from Herve Gambs Paris house!

wonderful creation, in particular once it dries down (after approx. 2 hours). It becomes a soothing, tobacco-like, dad's-jacket-on-a-rainy-day -like sophisticated scent. May not be as ubiquitous as it should due to limitations on the concentration of tonka in perfumes, but if you manage to find a bottle, grab it.

Ten zapach polecał znany perfumowy starszy youtuber w czarnej czapeczce, że oh i ah i wogóle leć już do sklepu i kupuj. A że opinie influenserów przyjmuję z pewną dozą rezerwy w tym przypadku ohy i ahy były uzasadnione. Pierwsze wrażenie to tonka maczana w rumie. Cynamonu nie wyczuwam, choć obok mnie leży torebka z tą przyprawą, bo używam jej codziennie. Może dlatego ten zapach mi spowszedniał i nie zwracam na niego już takiej uwagi. Naprawdę jest upojnie, na bogato. Ta tonka ma głębię i słodycz. Ostatnio taki tonkowy zapach testowałam od Reminescence. Mam te dwa zapachy i to jest jak tonka i TONKA (u Herve). Tu jest mocno, zdecydowanie, jakościowo. Tam jest tonka light. Zdecydowanie zapach wieczorowy, randkowy, aromaterapeutyczny. Jeżeli lubisz tonkowe klimaty nie zawiedziesz się.
