Drink Cocco

I like this one, I was trying to find a good coconut frag with no fruit, just some vanilla, mostly coconut. My fav coconut I owned was coqui coqui coco, and I thought this might be better. It’s similar, but I think coqui is better, this isn’t as strong as I’d like nor as sweet. I wasn’t looking for those overly gourmand milky sweet coco frags, but for the $175 price point it’s not something I could see myself buying unless it went on a good sale. I expect more the more a fragrance costs. Though I could def see myself wearing it and layering it even with something like vanilla sex (vs first and this on top might be a dream), it’s just not worth more than $90 -100 imo. It’s too subtle, and when sprayed too much I get a faint banana leaf notes which I don’t like, but it’s so subtle that it’s only there if you’re really sniffing hard. I sprayed a lot in one place and was disappointed in the projection. Perhaps if I lived in a warm humid climate like south florida all year round, this could be more up my alley. It’s in the upper 40s where I live and won’t be in the 70s until March. I’m not a big believer in seasonal scents, but have read about how body heat and heat in general impact a fragrance to project more, especially if worn in specific areas of the body. That’s why I’ve been testing my scents in my inner elbows, shoulders/collar bones, and even knee caps if I want to try two diff frags in comparison. But yeah. I think I’d buy this if it cost less, just misses the mark on what I had hoped. A few mins later it’s growing on me. It does have that tropical vibe I seek that seems hard to find without citrus (bergamot I’m looking at you), fruity, or overly gourmand which smells too powdery and milky, not my thing. It’s got that simplicity of coconut, freshly opened with a coo centric drink, no pineapple, just coconut but you don’t get any boozy vibes. Ugh, I might have to get it after all. Better than dirty coconut which I like a lot, but vanishes less than 30 mins in.

Hilde Soliani Drink Cocco is an intoxicating blend inspired by a coconut alcoholic beverage, Batida de Coco (from Brazil), a fresh, sweet, rum, icy blend that it’s a refreshing cocktail in fragrance form, easy to love and enjoy in excess, I’d say, even though I’m only sampling off of a Luckyscent dabber. As it dries down, it feels a little heavier and denser, and some of the fresh, icy, and even effervescent qualities of the opening fade away and give into a creamier rum/coconut blend. It’s very nice throughout, though. Drink Cocco has the standard brand pricing of $175 for 100ml and is sold in the US via Luckyscent (exclusively, I believe). It’s reasonable pricing from a niche brand in the current market, under the $2/ml mark that I usually cite. 7 out of 10

i liked this! which i guess isn't a surprise since i love coconut and it's very linear coconut with rum, but it is a very good coconut! more green than typical, but not unsweet either - a nice balance. the longevity is better than i expected given the reviews, but it still only lasts a few hours. overall rating: 🩷🩷🩷💔🖤 3.5/5

Notes are present as described--sweetened, milky coconut with a touch of alcohol that gives the impression of breathing frosty air. Interesting and different.

i was hoping for creamy, milky coconut but what i got was an extremely green and ripe coconut with no sweetness whatsoever. not sure what the appeal would be here. i agree with the review calling it sour grass water suntan lotion lol.
