The notes in this really intrigued me - Fish, cheese & booze? It sounded like it had the potential to be utterly horrendous or maybe be amazing in its uniqueness & I just had to smell it! What I smell is a very fresh watery feeling liquorice & anise, that has a very slight minty-ness; I don't perceive anything that I could even remotely interpret as fish, cheese, alcohol or even nuts. So I guess don't let the note listing put you off - This is actually quite nice, its simplistic and would be great in summer for those that like fresher scents that are not over powering. This is pleasant, but too light & fresh to suit my tastes and not really the uniquely shocking creation I was hoping for.

No fish, no cheese and no chestnut. Musky, sort of minty anis with aquatic-fresh notes. After about half an hour passes it becomes mostly the latter with added soapy notes. I love the openings of all the Hilde Soliani scents I've tried but the drydowns disappoint me.

Genuine question as i havent smelled this but where do these notes come from? on hilde’s website the write up about eau de cuisine says “the notes are GENIUS therefore surprise.” and everyone here seems to say this smells like watered down anise. great prank. i love hilde she’s so fun, literally cant wait to be of hag age and pull this shit with all my friends guffawing around.

All I'm getting is a watery, faintly salty anise. No idea how this is supposed to smell of fish and cheese! It is surprisingly refreshing though.
