Fighiissimo

FIG FIG FIG SWEET FIG! this is a yummy..... on the sweeter, fruity side of fig...fig perfume and I love it. While I love the coconut and fruity fig coupled with a dry woodiness of Diptyque's Philosykos....sometimes you need a fig that is a big fruitier and sweeter...and this is it! Dtsy (below) is right -- its a more juicy sweet Fig that is very enjoyable to wear!!

I jumped on the chance to get a small decant of this, because I love all things fig and Fighissimo with its name promises to be VERY fig. And it is! It's at the same time very sweet, like the nectar from the ripe fig fruit, and very woody green, like the leafs and stems and wood of the fig tree. I'd also swear there was some coconut involved, although it's not in the list of notes (but then again I read Hilde Soliani tends to keep her notes a secret). All in all it feels like a more exuberant, juicier, sweeter version of Diptyque's Philosykos. So it's very enjoyable, especially the exuberant opening and the pleasantly soft-sweet drydown. In the heart there's this undeniable note of plastic that ruins it a little bit; luckily, it doesn't stay around for long. I don't think I'll need a full bottle of this, since I have a lot of fig perfumes that I love already and this didn't blow me away, although I do like it very much.

My first impression is wow! A no-frills, bright, warm, slightly spicy, sweet fruity fig! Finally something different from most of the other fig perfumes that lean too green and/or woody for my taste (looking at you: Philosykos, Gris Charnel, and Father Figure).

it’s a fig dancing between creamy, candy-like (in a violet pastille way), soap like and a bit toasted no sap sadly for me, what i imagine the garnishly decorated fig flavoured tub of a fancy gelato shop smells like.

Unsure why no one else has mentioned the intense synthetic note in this. Purchased as a blind buy since I am a hugeeee fig fan (not blind buy safe) as my favourite perfume shop had it on sale. I was hoping to get a more intense juicy black fig sister of diptyques philosykos (which I find to be more fig leaf heavy). Upon the initial spray there is a hugely projecting synthetic plastic-like note which completely over-powers any notion of fig. I know Solani is known for having many hidden notes in perfumes, but this one seemed to be pretty fig-forward, and no one has mentioned this is in reviews. It might be my bottle or batch because I’ve tried this on multiple friends to test if it’s just a skin chemistry thing, sadly it is not . The synthetic note does dry down and fades away after 15 minutes, but it’s initial power makes it’s lingering trail almost dizzying. Nonetheless it’s quite a soft fragrance, I would say there is a light creamy note to it as well. The fig note I do detect, is quite a nauseating one; Rather than a juicy black fig or fresh green fig leaf I get a plastic and wax heavy fig look-a-like. Currently letting this macerate in my cupboard in hopes that the synthetic note will somehow develop away 😅

My absolutely favorite fig perfume. I can definitely see how it could be off-putting to be told simultaneously that "this is like a windex smell" and "this is Aphrodite lounging on a klinē while served honeyed dates." It holds a beautiful contradiction of "too astringent, too bright, too clear" and "sticky sweet, sugary and carby, ready to eat" in what I think is an absolutely impressive, artistic way. But it's done so well and captivates me so much that hell, I don't know what to tell you. It's GOOD. It's weird, clean, dirty, strong, bright, and lovely. I mostly disagree with some of the reviews here saying it's not soapy. It IS soapy, just with none of the downsides that usually comes with that word. There's something that makes it seem it would bubble and foam if put in water and yet I still want to eat it, like one of those 'forbidden snack' memes. Anyone searching for their favorite fig needs to try it.

Fighiissimo smells *exactly* like the vivid orange & pink frangipani I was just gifted a cutting of. I did a side-by-side comparing the flower with Fighiissimo on my wrist and they're almost indistinguishable. The scent of this frangipani is different to the classic and seemingly ubiquitous white/yellow varieties; it is balmy, softly spicy, slightly clean (but NOT soapy), suntan lotionesque, with an almost suede-like orange fruity osmanthus quality + typical frangipani yellow floralcy. It is sweet, sunny and nectarous. Fighiissimo is an atypical fig fragrance that smells nothing like Philosykos, Debaser, Womanity, etc.

I'm trying to work out what this reminds me of. my partner said that it reminds them of "a place." I'm stepping my toe into the world of gourmands and this is pretty lovely. i have a deep emotional attachment to figs, so conceptually it works for me. I like it the most after a 3 hour-ish dry down, because then its sweet and warm. initially there's an almost caramel quality to it- not a caramel note but a caramelised fruit vibe, like pan seared figs. after the dry down it becomes more true fig, with greenery.

A unusual fig perfume. A fantasy version of fig. There’s nothing woody or green in Fighissimo, it’s all about the fruit itself, but this is a candy version of fig. Or a soda pop fig, with elements of orange candy and coconut. And under that, windex, which melts away at the hour and a half mark just leaving the candy fig for a couple more hours.

This perfume smells so magic, so fresh and sweet as if you 're eating a fresh figh Its a great summerscent and i love it

fighissimo has the double meaning of VERY COOL and FIG .When somebody or something rocks , you say fighissimo !
