Il Tuo Tulipano Giallo

This scent smells great, but smells almost exactly like fancy love or burberry woman. Which is surprising because you look at the notes in here and they don't seem similar at all. Tuo Tulipano has a fresher vibe, and I can think I smell the notes listed. However, it's buried under a powdery clean mound of burberry woman. For the right person, I could see getting the scent because it smells lovely. But, for me it smells too much like cheaper alternatives for me to drop the bucks. I guess my big wonder in all this is if Hilde planned this (and probably hoped no one would notice), or it's a coincidence. Very unexpected!

I agree with dicom, there is something very nostalgic about this fragrance that I can't really place. This is very pleasant, very relaxing. Conjures memories of being by the lake or ocean in the summer. It's breezy and light, very optimistic and uplifting. I typically want to smell like I just rolled in something, but if I were to be a little more lady like I would like to smell like this. It's so fleeting though! I feel like it starts to vanish far too soon. I really really love it, very fresh and beautiful, wish it was more powerful and long lasting. My only complaints. 7.5-8/10

Terrible, it's weird, I would never buy it !!!

Maravilhoso!!!! I love this perfume so much. If I want to smell green, nostalgic, fresh, clean, and slightly androgynous then I will reach for this. I don’t know about you, but I love perfumes that make me smell genderless. This perfume does it for me. It’s SOOOO clean and fresh. Perfect for those days where I just want to exist and not have a single care in the world. When I wear this I feel free. Like I want to run barefoot in a field of tall grass and morning dew. Like I should be wearing overalls and a bandana. Running off into the sunrise. Happy, a little sunburnt, but free. I recommend spraying this when you’re having big feelings!!!!

Sweet, lovely, somehow reminds of artificially scented bubble gum or a kind of child shampoo or even air-freshener, basically is interesting because of something that reminds childhood, more suitable for women rather than men but still has something that man can wear on specific occasions. Or probably man should be specific :) I personally wouldn't buy it.

But this is Gucci Rush upon spraying - after 20 minutes, Gucci Rush2 - drydown again Gucci Rush. So interchangeable on me that I'm afraid I don't spot the difference. Perhaps a subtle nuance of smelling more expensive, since I know it's more expensive lol. As my mother was a great Rush lover I now have a gift idea :D

I just want to say quickly that I hated this upon first spray. The herbs are too sharp and piercing. It took 4 hours for it to dry down to something really nice; a soft basil powder with great sillage. I'll have to try this again before I make up my mind.

Why does Il Tuo Tulipano Red not have an entry? Its gotta be a year old by now.

Unique. Soft, spicy floral. Definitely unisex. I'm getting lavender.
