Lambrosc

I blind bought this based on eliasriachi and the other reviews below. I get more grape than wine, but that’s ok, it just works. This is the happiest fragrance in my collection and it’s very addicting and intoxicating to the nose. Longevity and sillage are outstanding. So pleased with this. Update.... The drydown of this fragrance is amazing and that’s when the wine shows up. Then, when I got up the next morning and started working out, before taking a shower, it came out full force and all the sweetness is gone and with just oak and wine. This is very special.

Oof!! Stick a knife in me I’m done. Reminiscent of artificial grape candy scent but not too sweet and not too juvenile. When I was a kid I used to rub bubblicious wrappers on my wrists like it was perfume. I loved the smell so much and always wanted a perfume that could scratch that itch without being too obviously kiddie. This is IT!

Wow! This scent is gorgeous!! I dont get wine here, but thats not a problem because it has the best green grape note ever! In the background I can smell a bit of that red fruity vibe and a hint of patchuli, that reminds me a grape juice mixed with it seed. 10/10

Yes it smells like grapes and LOTS of oak! I'm loving it although it's a bit too simplistic.

A friend once mentioned that he wanted to find a perfume that smelled like wine—I’ve taken on that mission as my own. Lambrosc opens with bright purple “grape”—that kind vaguely reminiscent of concord, but ultimately native only to the candy category; artificial but in a familiar, expected way (what else does grape even smell like??). There’s a mentholated, slightly camphoraceous note on top of that—as if you’ve taken a grape Jolly Rancher to your lips covered in healing ointment. With a stretch of the imagination, you could say this evokes a glass of the cold, effervescent lambrusco from which this perfume receives its name. But... it’s a stretch. I don’t get much progression or a strong base—maybe there’s some moss and white musk lingering back there—just a slow disintegration of that punchy opening. Not a serious contender for “best wine-like fragrance”—it lacks nuance, funk, all the subtleties that make wine (and perfume, for that matter) beautiful. But we had fun, didn’t we? And as a grape fragrance, it’s pretty enjoyable.

This is an amazing fruity wine scent. Really done well.

I get ripe grapes and patchouli. It is the only juicy grape perfume on the market true to the note that I have tried; like opening a jar of Welsh's grapejuice. The patchouli is interesting here because you wouldn't think it to work, but it does. It gives it longevity as without it the fruitiness would be fleeting and without depth or interest. In the drydown, you get more greenness (like celery) with the patchouli and the sweet grape fades. I don't usually enjoy patchouli and I tried to put up with it here as it is the only grape perfume out there I have found. However, I do get a headache from the patchouli, (the patchouli gets me every time!) Not everyone will have this experience, so I say if you are looking for a grape fragrance, this is the one. Just be prepared for it to fade rather quickly.

the first stage is very cool aid grape flavor or any other purple concoction with sugar and grapes then it develops into the wine? ... stage and then is absolutely lovely woodsy and a bit masculine , i am really having fun with this line because what you read literaly is what you get, if is fragola then is a blast of fresh strawberries and so on, this is a fun line i don ́t see anyone not being able to pull this off but i also don ́t see anyone pulling it off completely, is more an experience than anything else it will make you feel something joy , a headache or even tipsy , i don ́t see this as something to wear more like something to experience and yet is so simple , but then again as with design simple is hard ---

It's like a blend of blueberry gelatin with a woody note. The fruity smell slowly leaves the scent. What remains is a sharp, fizzy, almost woody smell that we feel we've seen similar to it in other perfumes before. Lambrosc is too much "perfume" to be assessed as a realistic and natural picture of wine. Sweet, warm and long lasting. ‌ انگار ژله بلوبری که بهش یه نت چوبی اضافه شده رو بو می کنید. بخش اولش که میوه ایه جالبه اما چیزی که ازش می مونه یه رایحه تند و گازدار و تقریبا چوبیه که آدم حس میکنه قبلا مشابهش رو تو عطرای دیگه هم دیده. انتظار داشتم یه تصویر سازی دقیق و واقع گرایانه از بوی شراب باشه، اما لامبروسک واسه این کار زیادی "عطره". رایحش گرم و شیرینه، با ماندگاری خیلی زیاد

Wow! This is so incredibly reminiscent of Voleur de Roses, sans the rose. The rose is so subdued in VdR anyway that truly, Lambrosc is startlingly similar. This is tart plum wine and patchouli. It’s gorgeous but definitely been done before. I will say though, this wine note is maybe one of the best I’ve ever encountered. If you’re a fan of this note, you should absolutely try this.

Where is everyone getting patchouli? I loathe patchouli and to me this is fermented fruit but not in a rotten way. It's a good rendition of wearable red wine sans alcohol blast. My husband hated it. I think its ok! Wont buy a FB but Hilde Soliani always seems to make things off the beaten path and i dig that even if they are linear! Orgasmo is one of my favorites.

Grape incense, and I ain’t mad about it. Youthful patchouli fruit. A head shop that sells bubblegum. I get no wine at all, just an oddly candy-fueled nostalgia. On occasion I would enjoy smelling like this. But husband hates it because he hates hippies. Because he was one, and now he’s a bitter old man. 😂

Much more than just red wine as noted in the description above. I’m getting Musk and oakmoss (mostly likely not the real thing) but this stuff is Fantastic! And it lasts. Of the 150 or so bottles I have, this one is in the top 3 right now. I’m really liking this stuff.

I was sadly disappointed by this as a Lambrusco lover. This was a big grape- a somewhat realistic one and not too candied- but it quickly disappeared and was a straight up woody forest for me. I like a woody scent but this was very harsh and learned too masculine.

Sweet and fruity on opening, then immediately turns almost pungent? Not necessarily in a bad way. I guess that's the "wine" accord? It was almost animalic to me, in the way Zoologist's Bee is. After about 45mins-1hr, it turns really masculine.

Perfect in every way. Fruity-sweet without smelling sugary or over synthetic, definitely strong notes of wine and berry. Progresses beautifully through wearing. Will be buying a full bottle.

This is fun and all, but I feel like I'm being sold an accord rather than a perfume. I want this with more going on.
