Orgasmo

There's not much else to say about Orgasmo other than: how can we compare it to other almond style fragrances? I personally love almond and I love almonds in my fragrances. As you could imagine, I have a numerous full bottle range in my collection. Orgasmo I would consider very straightforward. It is almond and it is also condensed almond liquor. That's it. There's no journey it takes you on. There is no story. It's almond done in its most appealing way. It's difficult to rate this without having all other almond fragrances in front of me, but if I had to choose, I would place this right next to Dolce Acqua by Profumum. My favorite brand just so you know! They both have a very noticeable but natural cherry preserve aspect to the structure. And right next to that is the decadent syrup quality. Which so happens to be almond. You certainly have to enjoy this scent profile in order to enjoy this fragrance. For those of you that do, this certainly goes in the sweeter, decadent, too much? side of the gourmand spectrum. I have to mention that you have to be in the mood to enjoy this. If you are, this could potentially strike a very positive chord with you and become one of your favorites. If you are NOT in the right mood, this could potentially ruin your craving for gourmand fragrances for years to come. It is borderline for sure! But it has potential to be great. Check it out. Hilde is a crazy lady who sometimes creates wonderful things! It's up to you to determine that.

First time Ive ever smelled play dough in a perfume. It’s pure play dough to me and I love it? Time to see how much it costs. Ok i ordered this but I loathe the bottle. Does the name label peel off? 🤞🏼 As for the scent it is almond-cherry-playdoh. I guess i dont have much experience with amaretto but I dont get boozy vibes from this. Hope my FB smells like my sample Edit x2: the sticker does peel off. Made my own label design for it. My full bottle smells a bit more boozy than the sample did but it’s still beautiful. Edit x3: I decided against peeling off the label. Call me snobby but if I pay almost 200$ for a perfume you’re gonna see it in it’s orginal form or else it feels like it’s loses value? Anyway, im still obsessed with this smell. what makes it the most interesting is that there’s absolutely no vanilla in it despite being a gourmand type smell and for my collection that is rare. I never thought I would say this but now when I see in the con section that it smells like Play dough it makes me interested in the perfume lol

Orgasmo is a yummy almond. It is almost a bitter almond but not quite because the perfume is definitely sweet. I also smell amaretto right away. As it wears it becomes more boozy and creamy. ...like yummy almond, a glass of amaretto on the rocks that morphs into a almondy pastry, cookie dough, creamy. Almost as if you are either eating a creamy delicious almond pastry, while drinking a amaretto cocktail w/ a splash of coconut cream in it. Definitely gourmand, very nicely done. Doesn't veer into play-dough or powdery. Blends amazingly with the boozy amaretto. Scent lasts for hours and hours. Love it! This is a nice sweet comfort scent - almond done very nicely here. below reviewer is correct - I did think I had been drinking a glass of Disaronno or spilled it on myself, however unlike below... I AM a fan of this one :) edit - ha! I just noticed others think it smells almost like creamy coconut. yea there is def a creamy vibe to it.

Yes it smells exactly like amaretto and almond extract. The alcohol smell comes through as well. I see the connection to the name because it smells so so good, good enough to eat. I love Hilde's perfumes because they are usually fairly "simple" and typically as near photorealistic as you can find in perfumery. I don't need 10+ different notes to think a perfume smells amazing and impressive. I prefer just a couple notes executed perfectly, that way they are not cloying or overwhelming. I don't like all her scents but the ones that work for me tend to be loves. I'd say this one is unisex leaning femme, but a guy can wear this if he likes sweet scents obviously. Good for any season or time of day I think. Would be a great night out scent though I'm not sure how good the longevity/sillage is yet. Probably not a good work scent due to the alcohol smell.

Despite its provocative name, Hilde Soliani Orgasmo is a rather straightforward blend of almond and amaretto, catering to both gourmand and liqueur lovers. I'm personally a fan of amaretto in particular (in addition to sweet gourmands, generally), so Orgasmo is a welcome fragrance to me. It captures much of the sweetness of amaretto but it does not have its boozy bite, so as with most successful boozy interpretations, this is well-done. It's creamy and indulges the dessert-lover while being loyal to the nutty liqueur that is its inspiration. Performance is strong and the pricing is the standard $160 for 100ml via Luckyscent, wholly reasonable for a niche quality fragrance that lasts well and pleases. 8 out of 10

Gorgeous!! Really yum yum yum!!! Delicious almonds and such a gorgeous combination with the divine amaretto.......ooooohh!!!! Fabulous!!! Oh I just loooove it!!!! Mmmmmm.......delicious!!!! Gosh!!! I'm in seventh heaven!!! I have it on right now, and I've been wearing it for the last three days, and it's becoming part of my skin!!! It's so delicious!!! My husband can't stop kissing me!!! I want to lick my arm!!! Gosh, I just can't tell you!!! It's sooo creamy, fluffy and scrumptious! It's like a delicious creamy, thick, almond liqueur pudding!!! And I get sooo many compliments!! Amazing!!! More than ANY other perfume I have!!! What can I say!! It's a pure, unadulterated LOVE!!!!!!! The name is PERFECT!!!!

Love wearing this beautiful, almond and amaretto fragrance. It dries down a slightly floral, soft, barely powdery almond with a cherry fruit back drop. It is not cloying, but for almond lovers, this is a must try. I have many almond fragrances, and love the almond note, but this is #1! This one smells so good, I keep sniffing wafts of this off of my skin, and I want to drool. Give it a try.

WOW... almondy cherry liquor slightly playdoh ish goodness... lowkey so powerful at least more than what I expected. I couldn’t stop sniffing myself Sweet and perfect, it dries down slightly makeuppy, like a pressed powder or something. I love it. I don’t see the orgasm or orgasmo connection but 🤷♂️ i love it

Okay, this is a very smooth almond fragrance, and I like the woody dry down. It is calming, and slightly sexy in a casual sort of way, although I can see myself wearing this at night and making it a bit gourmand sexy. It is very smooth and well-blended. I want some!

This is so yummy, sweet, and warm. I detect some coconut but the almond dominates. The performance is decent and stays linear.

If you are an almond lover and want pure almond this is for you. Had to get a full bottle after I used up my sample!

This is lovely. Straight creamy almond goodness. Lasts a good amount of time and is so delicious.

The sweet almond is the best out there, hands down.

It smells like white vanilla scented CANDLES!

Took me a long time to finally review this scent. I wanted to love it so, but each try left me wanting. It opens with velvety butter, very rich and creamy. There’s a slight hint of coconut to my nose and it reminds me of LM Almond Coconut Milk for a few minutes. It then goes a bit play-doh which I enjoy. You can smell the vanilla, and like the butter note, it’s very rich and creamy, almost like buttercream frosting. This is gourmand to the max, but I’m missing the heavy almond I was hoping for, and it may just be my skin but I keep smelling coconut. This is ok, but for the price it’s not wowing me. I find most of Hilde’s scents to be fleeting on my skin and while I should love this brand, I’ve yet to be wowed by anything. I have a very cheap dupe oil of LM Almond Coconut that smells so similar to this and it wears all day on me. I do appreciate the brand’s dedication to us gourmand lovers. Maybe one day they’ll offer an economicucal discovery set and I’ll find the ONE from Hilde.

Amaretto, then strong marzipan, then sugared, slightly playdoughy almonds. A touch of honey or more nuttiness would have made this delicious. I usually don't like when almonds go playdoughy - there's something kind of cheeky and charming about this scent though. I'll enjoy my sample but won't buy. The Hilde Soliani scents I've tried so far have had perfect openings, and then they quickly fade into a flatter, sadder version of what would have been a perfect scent. But I also might be a bit of a snob about simplicity - these one note scents always feel like they need something more. But it's a good thing that Soliani produces these one-note, specific scents, because Demeter is often too synthetic and CBIHATEPERFUME is too expensive and doesn't meddle with "pedestrian" sweet gourmands. Overall, this was a tentative like, though it would be a strong like if the amaretto stayed.

Most of Hilde’s fragrances are just delicious, gourmand scents that are lovely to wear and to smell throughout the day on yourself. This fragrance is no exception to that rule. It’s a lovely cozy, soft burst of sparkling sugar, creamy vanilla and almond. It’s delicious and sweet and is intoxication in a bottle. If you love to feel like you’re wrapped in a soothing sweet cloud of cozy, comforting vanilla and almond this is for you. The lasting power and projection on this is pretty moderate. The dry down lingered on me for around 4-6 hours which was nice. Definitely a great fragrance for fall and winter.

Orgasmo smells good. I can’t deny that. It smells exactly like amaretto and amaretto smells good. But is that a perfume? Is that a perfume worthy of 175$ US? I don’t know, but I do feel like maybe Hilde is playing a joke on us. But if she is, I’m in on it, because I have to admit to liking this. And I received a compliment on it out in the wild, which is rare. It lasts 4-5 hours on skin and projects enough that a cashier at a cash stand 3 feet away could smell it. This feels like something Demeter would do at a much lower price but it’s a good comfort scent.

This smells like a sweet almondy mix of girly products, not like a spray of perfume. Distinctive lotion and cosmetics powder smelling, in an "Oh, I am not even trying, that smell is my hand lotion or makeup" effortless kind of way. Not a skin scent but not overwhelming either. Love it!!! Buttery sweet amaretto and marzipan with an undertone scent of face powder or makeup. Fades to a slight suntan oil with a powderiness. Oddly the both slightly oily and powdery gives it sort of a layered feel like smelling someone's vanity table.

At first I was getting straight up lotion scent, like Palmer's Cocoa Butter lotion (which I like), but then I started to get the nutty bitter almond which elevated it up a notch. It's really a lovely skin scent; soft, subtle & unobtrusive with a cozy powdery sweetness. It's very different in that it's comforting & familiar but also unique in that you don't smell this type of scent often in the wild. Also reminds me of a honey oatmeal candle I own that I love.

Totally delicious and accurate amaretto scent in the opening that fades into these sweet, buttery notes like an almond pastry, maybe a croissant or some kind of cookie. It wears beautifully, warming up in a super cozy way. Absolutely perfect gourmand for winter. Layering with DedCool Xtra Milk, the photorealistic amaretto note is extended significantly on my skin, and I’m able to better pick up on the slightly bitter element of the almond :)

Carnation is correct. Amaretto with lots of almonds. It's sweet with a light kiss of coconut. I like it! I would not typically chose to wear this fragrance on a daily basis but it might be something fun to wear when snuggling by the fireplace with the one you love. This would be FB worthy for someone who is very romantic and and enjoys fresh sweetness. This could also be date night material for young love.

Hilde Soliani's gourmands are slept on too much for my liking. I've sampled Drink Caffè, Orgasmo, and Crema di Latte. Orgasmo is an almond-amaretto that reminds me more of almond biscotti. Put that with Drink Caffè and I'm right back in my grandparents' house. What keeps me from buying the full bottle is the longevity. For $165 I wish this lasted more than a couple of hours. But I keep coming back...

I've read the description "boozy" for a long time and never really got it. Until now. This smells like a hot amaretto in a snifter with sugar on the rim. It is very sweet, but not vanilla-y. More like the distilled leftovers of amaretto heated up with maple syrup. A gourmand delight, but the exorbitant price gives me indigestion.

Finally! A tart, sweet almond that isn't doused in powdery notes and isn't straight up buried in vanilla cake top notes. Genuinely nutty, not in the heliotrope-peppery sense, and almost reminiscent of coconut sunscreen in the dry down. It could probably blend well with a bright, juicy floral.

This is a straightforward, intoxicating, smooth almond liqueur 🥃. It does teeter just on the edge of smelling like Play-Doh, though. But somehow I am still drawn to it and can't stop smelling my wrist! I don't even like almond or amaretto like that, but this is a job well done by Hilde.

I absolutely love the name of this perfume and the character on the bottle. I hope she is having a happygasm. The perfume itself does smell like amaretto, albeit way less boozy and a little watered-down. It's very subtle.

Smells like an ameretto sour to me, I enjoyed! Not sure if I need a FB as it’s a bit pricey, but it’s a fun, realistic beverage fragrance.

Love it and definitely a true amaretto, but I would say it lacks depth in favor of performing that realism, so I always always layer this

Originally, I didn’t care too much for this. Now that I’ve worn it a few times, I can say... WOW! I do a couple of sprays around my body and I can smell this all day. It lingers all day long! You’re at TJ Maxx and boom! You smell it. You’re at the post office, and you still smell it! I felt like the scent was stalking me lol. I feel like it’s a good thing though. It definitely leaves a cloud of almond booziness around. I still stand by the fact that it smells like sexy playdough. In hindsight, I’d say it smells more like: amaretto, cherry, almonds, and alcohol. I love that it smells like alcohol. It literally smells like a shot of amaretto. Or a shot of cherry almond liqueur. It’s extremely linear, but it’s soft, sweet and spicy without being extremely off putting. Hilde does linear gourmands, but she does them in a way where they’re definitely different from your Pink Sugar, per se. If you like a fun, boozy almond fragrance, then you will love this. If you enjoy linear and palatable scents, Orgasmo will do the trick!

Sorry, but for the price of this scent, it's not worth it. Does is smell delicious? YES!!! For five minutes and then you'd better be prepared to have your wrist/hand/shirt, whatever you sprayed it on stuck to your nose. I've tried making sure I'm moisturized, oiled ~ basically everything I can think of to lengthen the time this can be detected by my nose, but no dice. And it doesn't seem to be just my body chemistry either. Sprayed it on my husband (who was very vocal in his displeasure at my sneak attack, but hey, we all suffer for beauty, no?) and it lasted about, oh, 5.2 minutes. Other reviews are saying the same, so it's definitely not just a weird family trait. I don't care if a fragrance makes me have multiple "little deaths", to very loosely paraphrase the very eloquent French. If I can't smell it a few minutes after I've applied, it stinks. Try Demeter Almond. Layer with Demeter Amaretto. Problem solved and maybe you'll have an Orgasmo kinda day.

This opens with The Cheesecake Factory issuing a declaration of chemical warfare to Au Bon Pain. Disaronno and Lazzaroni broker a tense amaretto truce, but VS Amber Romance blasts in and gives everyone headaches. Finally the battlefield clears, leaving Toffifay standing alone, making feeble "This is nuts!" puns.

Hilde Soliani is an outstanding perfumer. This is beautiful, realistic amaretto at the start. As it dries down, sweet milk comes through - pillowy and creamy. A gentle booze remains throughout the wear. It's sweet, milky and airy.

It is a sweet realistic amaretto....that lasts about 10 minutes. If it had better longevity on my skin, I would bathe in the stuff, but the search continues.

I like the scent but on me it fades super fast! 10 minutes then poof!

Just received this with a few other samples from LS. This was the one I was most looking forward to in the bunch as I absolutely obsess over the scent of pure almond extract, but have yet to find my HG almond. This scent is extremely disappointing to say the least. Upon first application immediately I get amaretto, but within moments, it has morphed in a super sweet, coconut/sunscreen/plastic (as Carnation mentioned) type smell. Never did I get a true almond note and the amaretto is gone (was it ever really there?) almost immediately.

I loved this on first application; all almond flour and sugar cookies and a hint of really sexy play dough. Within an hour on my skin though it became a really intense sandalwood with a hit of new Barbie. It’s objectively interesting and even alluring in this state, but it’s not my thing. It kind of rides the edge of headachey for me. Honestly after a few hours it was indistinguishable from Nest’s White Sandalwood. I’ll be passing this along to someone else to try with their chemistry instead.

with the name Orgasmo, i was expecting to be wowed. instead, i was disappointed. it reminds me of sugar, stale butter, and bad breath. perhaps this is one that loses something when dabbed from a sample vial.

Inizialmente buonissimo, l’amaretto e la mandorla si sentono distintamente. Dopo circa 2 minuti, però, spariscono entrambi per lasciare un lievissimo sentore di plastica/pongo. Peccato!

I'm getting mostly playdough. Disappointing.

I was so excited for this fragrance after getting a sample from LuckyScent, so I ordered a full bottle of it. The sample smelled like delicious marzipan. But when I got the full bottle, I picked up that play-doh smell that other reviewers have mentioned. I have given it several full tries but the play-doh overpowers all its good qualities. It smells gross to me now. I still have the sample and there's a clear difference in smells, and I don't know why. Maybe I got a bad one? I paid full price on Lucky Scent, so I shouldn't have. :(

Smells like my mom’s Italian love knot cookies. It doesn’t project much after about an hour, but the scent is still there as a skin scent, which I actually appreciate. It smells more authentic this way, as if you had been baking up a storm hours prior to leaving the house. I also don’t mind the weaker performance because I bought this fragrance to join my collection of comfort scents, it’s really only meant for my pleasure, no one else’s. The price point for essentially a skin scent might be steep for some, but it really depends on what you personally find acceptable and what you are looking for in a particular fragrance. As someone who is unable to enjoy her mother’s Italian cookies due to a health issue, this hits the spot for me and is worth every penny to give me that madeleine de proust moment.

Very mellow almond that reads as dusty to me, sort of like if cocoa powder had powdered almond dust in it too. It's surprisingly very mediocre now that i've tried a few other Hildes. Doesn't go that funky/sour territory that Tom Fords 'Vanilla s*** does nor do I find it boozy/alcoholic at all, this is definitely more of a dusty chocolatey almond. Would I FB this one? No. I definitely would take my other decants of HS over this one because those are next level 'intoxicating/mouth watering' and this one is pretty neutral but because of that, would great for layering.

Warning: Wearers of this fragrance may experience overwhelming feelings of blissful joy, and receive unsolicited compliments from passerbys. People may be compelled to come near the wearer of Orgasmo, to share in the euphoric experience. Stranger danger! This is a sugary amaretto confection that emits wafts of that chewy yeasty pastry element that I love in Jeux de Peau. It lasts for six to eight hours on my skin, and the fragrance stays pretty much linear throughout the day. I would describe it as sexy sweetness with an emotionally uplifting quality.

A nose-burner in terms of sweetness, fairly linear for most of the ride...but the drydown is "nice." It's quiet, less sweet, with an almost powdered almond feel. But for the beginning and entire middle, this is basically a very realistic amaretto. I feel like I've spilled a glass of Disaronno on myself. There is something more to it that I can't quite put my finger on, that gives it a little more of a perfume-like character...but I'm not a fan either way. Not today, anyway. I'll give my sample a few more tries and I may change my tune.

Nice in theory, but not in practice. Orgasmo is a pleasant handful of notes: Amaretto, milk, a whisper of coffee, vanilla, almond. Together they form a beige blah that isn't sexually provocative and gets old fast. Dab some actual amaretto on your wrists for a similar effect, and use mineral oil as a carrier if you want to get more than thirty minutes out of it. That should cost you less than $5. Buy 100 ml of Orgasmo and expect to be out $175. Your choice.

This wasn't really the almond I was looking for. I already had Confetto by Profumum(?) Roma and it is a similar clean almond, like the drier, pastry-doughier side of the almond spectrum, furthest from where almond overlaps with cherry, but Orgasmo is much weaker than Confetto, yet also makes my head hurt a little. I love the label design and name so much, though, and had been looking forward to finally smelling it!

Pure amaretto, right from the bottle🥰 with almond biscotti and some creaminess like tiramisu cream. Delicious😛 P.S after a month: I sprayed this in the morning and at the midnight when I took a shower I felt the milky amaretto scent even if I forgot about it during day, next day still can smell it on my T-shirt.. okkk, impressive

Almond meringue vanilla, boozy amaretto, some pastry note...Gourmand heaven but not too long lasting and..very low projection. Very chewy..like almond nougat! I am afraid I am going to end up buying it...it is really pretty, if you like gourmand scents.

Play-doh-y marzipan and a soft boozy nutty aura; a bit chocolatey. Golden hour, radiant freckled skin and smelling fabulous. I’ve sampled this many times before and liked it but am appreciating it more now that I am into sweet marzipan playdoh scents.
