Wonderful. Sweet fennel which smells somewhat similar to a jar of candy coated fennel seeds that I snack on after meals. I also get the hint of hay and wildflowers. The blended notes are like a comforting fairytale, something nostalgic and joyful, childhood playfulness, a time of being outside on warm sunny days in the yards of neighbor friends, making necklaces out of clover and dandelion flowers, feeling safe and carefree.

I love the smell of fennel. It reminds me of my grandmother and our morning walks in my childhood. She pointed to this plant and told me you could eat it, so as an adult I still can't help but nibble on it a little when I come across it and think of her. But I smell no fennel here. Fennel is not licorice. Fennel, licorice, and anise are all different plants. I don't think this perfume smells like any of them. I sampled without looking at the notes first. I thought it smelled a bit like vanilla. Very sheer and sweet perfume with perhaps an herbal touch, maybe tobacco flower. Maybe it's the hay I detect. Looking at the notes I would expect something green and vibrant. Overall this perfume is just sweet and powdery. No flowers. I think this perfume lacks character and identity. If it's fennel you are after, there are better perfumes on the market.

This is anis/fennel and suede. The hay may be the bridge between the sunny herbs and the poneys dancing in the open air theatre. There are times of the year when only this will do, sunny and warm, not hot, a bit of wind and some nature around.

Liquorice, liquorice, liquorice...this scent exactly smells like the Swedish/Finnish salted candy called salmiakki.On another hand this scent is a more extreme version of Saaliiissiiimo and it's inclines more towards the side of masculinity. The fennel really pops up the liquorice, the herbal nuances makes the scent freshly aromatic.Honestly, I cannot detect any flower here, but I feel the scent rolls over to something dry and muted smell with a faint powderiness.In the base the hay's driness balances by the soft musky-mossy features. Well..the officially listed notes above could be misleading,don't let them deceive you!:) This perfume all about liquorice, from the beginning until the end of the ride.In other words, this perfume like when you happily eating a sachet of liquorice-candy in the middle of the meadow on the top of a big haystack.:) Personally, I cannot imagine this scent on a woman, but if you are insanely love with liquorice, go for it!

I am so disappointed...some good writers know how to wake up the imagination..and make us buy...this case bad liers..smells cheap and reminds me old woman ...pee while she is coughing....waste of money.

Fennel with hay,balsamic almost anised. Not bad and uncommon a little bit light. one accord/ two note i can't really say this is a parfum. maybe could be a house scent or air freshner car. no vote/10

I got the licorice--or rather fennel-- note very strongly at first too, but there was hay behind that. The powdered licorice impression dried off quickly and the scent ended in a beautiful hay, grass, wood fragrance. And then it was gone. That last gorgeous hay/grass/wood stage was so heavenly, I would press my nose to my wrist to get more, but that was the only way I could even get a hint of fragrance, and there was no sillage at all. Extremely disappointing longevity, but if you wait out the licorice stage, you might get the gorgeous but fleeting woody/hay scent I found and love. Still, it's not full-bottle worthy if it doesn't last and this scent sadly doesn't. FYI, I eat Salmiak Rocks licorice all the time (my favorite candy) and this fragrance only smelled like that for a brief moment at the beginning. Once it dried past that, the licorice was gone utterly. Just saying. Try before buying.
