Vani Chic

I am very lucky to know Hilde and to be connected to her on social media and to be able to chat with her. She is a creative genius and this perfume is a work of art. Thanks to social media and my connection I was able to get my hands on a bottle of this gem despite it being quite difficult to find in the United States. This is a lovely vanilla gourmand with delicious hints of citrus. I never cared for the Fresh fragrances and this is what I wish they would have smelled like. It's definitely oriental vanilla but it doesn't have the orange or chocolate of Vani Choc. My favorite thing about Vani Chic (besides the name) is that it can be worn any time of year. It's invigorating for summer and spring; and it's cozy for fall and winter. Much more lively than LaVanila Vanilla Lemon and certainly higher quality. I would not hesitate to purchase again, nor would I hesitate to buy others of Ms. Soliani's creations blindly, as I did this.

Soft vanilla lemon sugar cookie. The lemon is gentle and delicious. Cozy, dreamy, creamy fragrance.

I am truly confused by the name of this scent, one would expect the obvious, but it is not so. Starts with fresh lemon but jumps the tracks somewhere and I just cannot put my finger on it. Seems to my nose more notes than are listed above. The lemon is long-lasting and pretty, true, but something in the base is weighing it down. The first of her fragrances that I did not like.

So many dislikes and not even one review? Sorely tempted to try to get my hands on this... please, people, if you have it in you to write even one short review, that really helps others!
