Lhasa Rose 1924

Opens with sweet rose scent that is coming off very fresh and green (from what i assume must be geranium) It is gentle and airy As it is drying the sweetness is almost carmelizing and turning warm, ambery with the slightest incense Dont get much pepper but rather clean muskiness and powderiness - like a preserved rose locked in a moment of freshness This instantly shot into my top most favourite rose scents, it's so beautiful

I sometimes struggle with rose, especially when it goes clean and soapy. This one manages to to be bright, green and a bit jammy at the same time. Laced with a sexy mineralic saltiness that makes it combine well with body heat, and grounded in woody warmth. I love her!

Surprising and impressive. Very fresh and crisp, yet woody and clean. I don't get a whole lot of amber, but i do get woods, spice, citrus, and of course lots of rose. It's not at all feminine though. It's a very nice balance between feminine and masculine. A hard line to walk for most fragrances. In the opening i smelled mostly a lot of rose, and little else. But that only lasted seconds after spraying before the nuances show up, and it deepens with woods and sweet pink pepper. The citrusy bergamot is also showing up in the opening, and is refreshing and crisp. Not a lot of incense, but there is a little bit in the background. Truthfully, i would never have noticed if it wasn't in the note breakdown. Where: Very versatile. Casual to semi-formal. Work friendly. When: Fall, winter, and spring. I think spring is the best time for it. Day or night. Who: Unisex, probably 30's and older. Personal score: 9/10. My favorite Rose fragrance up to now has been "Zaharoff, Signature Halfeti Black Rose". And, it still is after trying "Hima Jomo, Lhasa Rose 1924". "Black rose" is woodier and spicier. More masculine and darker. "Lhasa Rose 1924" is a fresher brighter and lighter rose, and it is more unisex. But i rarely wear rose fragrances, so my Black Rose will be my only one for now.
