Spring in Bome

I Completely love this. The best "spring" portration i've ever smelled. It has a perfect unisex balance, and is more a direct portrait of what spring actually smell like in specific areas of the world (including where i am). I tested it with an oficial decant, and ordered it the same day. It's one of those scents i can't help but Need in my already too large collection. To be able to experience spring at any time, is worth the price of a full bottle imo. The price isn't bad either. I say OK price. Worth the money for the quality ingredients and high level of blending. It's Very green, herbal. Underneath some flowery, aromatic, and a spicy note is pushing through. I don't agree with the accord scale going that high on aromatics, as it's mostly greens and herbs on my skin. Maybe it's different on other people. I don't know. The best way to describe it without talking about notes is, the scent of spring. Flowers, grass, and a light almost fluffy air. It's a casual to Semi-formal fragrance. Daytime wear for fall, but also for Spring and summer. Work friendly, date worthy, and anything in between. But it's most perfect for just staying indoors by yourself on a winter day/night, with the heating on and you're longing for spring. This will bring me temporarily to Norwegian spring. Any gender and age. It's Not sweet, but it's light and gentle. Lasts 4-6 hours. Projects fine, but not great. I tested at home during early winter. So it will probably project a lot better in the sun with more movement (basically all summer fragrances does). Personal score: 9.75/10. I was blown away. This Is spring in a bottle. 0.25 a points comes of for performance. I would have loved for it to project and last a little longer. But if it would upset the balance of the fragrance, i wouldn't change a thing. Scent wize, it is Perfection.

I Love This. It feels like going into a herbaceous, luscious, flowery forest on a spring morning, so beautiful so serene. It has realistic greenery scent. You can smell the green grass, the mix of flowers, old mossy cracked wood. Yet, still it gives airy nuance like a spring breeze. if you like perfume that pictures a natural atmosphere, you going to love this. This is not a offensive one but I can see many people won't love this.

For me, Spring In Bome can only be described as an experience. Lush greenery, serenity, fresh wet cut grass, a cool breeze, a somewhat calm uplifting scent. Definitely green, aromatic, spicy, herbal, hints of florals and earthy. For a fragrance that is mostly 95% - 100% natural, Spring In Bome lasts a moderate 3 hours. Projects nicely at first, fading as the minutes pass leaving a short whiff of its beautiful scent behind.

blind impressions: green, sharp, rooty—not herbal; tomato leaves? bell pepper? galbanum? purple and white florals? maybe even hyacinth? jasmine sambac? muguet? not soapy enough to be hyacinth, maybe another purple flower? unknown florals. a hay-like effect—vetiver? soil tincture? moss? resins... tree resins, fresh resins... overall, a true representation of a spring floral scent, a bit dewy and green, creating a rainy floral scene. also, why do i feel like this is what japan smells like? there's something cute and familiar about this without being childish.

What does Tibetan spring smell like according to hima jomo? It smells of freshly cut grass, crumpled young leaves, fingers stained with bitter dandelion juice (which, of course, does not grow in Tibet), moist green moss and slightly soapy flowers. And also a vetiver with some kind of metallic citrus.

Greener, wetter and rosier than the notes suggest. It has just rained, you are frolicking through the fields, snapping dandelions. I think of vetiver as very dry, and this has no dryness, more of a grassy vibe.

Green and spicy leather. The papyrus, vetiver and leather (iris) combo reminds me of Dzongkha but this is much smoother and easier to wear. Probably my favorite from the brand.

Smells like pho to me (thats a good thing!)

Spring time has got you in the mood for a bouquet. You purchase a zesty flower arrangement and as you step out into the enveloping warmth of spring sun you get a waft of tarragon from some previously hidden tarragon shoots lurking in the bunch of flowers you carry in your arms. Puzzled by the decisions of the florist, you march on home, cut the stems and then you realise the tap water is turned off and the only liquid you have at hand is a jar of the most pungent of pickled cucumber brine

Green, herbaceous, and rather sharp, almost lemony. Very soft and mild. Pleasant, but not the most memorable green scent I've come across

I will say straight away that for me Spring and Summer lean a little bit more femenine, while Autumn and Winter shew more masculine. Honestly, I had been in love with Autumn since the first sniff and I am planning to buy Winter in the forthcoming future. Spring in Bome was very promising in the opening: very herbal, very green; lentisuqe used to PERFECTION: fresh, clean, balsamic, bitter, turpentine-like; for me, it is evocative of the Ligurian maquis in spring. The galbanum is not oppressing, or it seems cold; just imagine an infinite green lawn surronding you. The slightly medicinal and minty-anise tone of the tarragon slowly slowly subsides and it is here that my difficulty starts. A floral cleaning component emeges; too creamy; that is too much of a contrast with the gorgeous bitter herbal opening. Probably my brain cannot register at once crisp and creamy, or - I would lean toward this hypothesis - the opening was so up my alley, was so true to my concept of green that I would have hoped to last forever. While I felt for the contrast between the very clean and almost iced cleaness of the mint and the slightly dirty heat of the ambrette in Winter, I cannot get past the dycothomy herbal-farmaceutical-bitter greeness of Spring when coupled with the creamy cleaness of this "floral2 accord that my brain registers as very tropical: champaca? frangipani? that comes to my mind even if these notes are not listings. Someone mentioned dandelions, and even if this is not an actual note in here, I think it might be a useful image in that it is grassy-green, floral, tangy, almost sour, bright and optimistic. I also get a rooty facet, probably from the vetiver, which I don’t normally like, but here it works perfect. I kindly disagree this would be herbaceous, for me it’s not. Aromatic perhaps, but above all, grassy-green and floral. Not dandelion per se, but similar characteristics. It definitely paints a nice image of spring in a distant place. Spring in Bome. What a beautiful name. Thankfully, it is an equally beautiful perfume. It’s not all that accessible though, I think most people would benefit from taking some time to get to know it through wearing it on multiple occasions, preferably in spring. I think it has unisex qualities, but it ultimately leans feminine. It’s soulful and unpretentious. The natural impression extends beyond the impressions of the actual natural materials. I wonder if Delphine actually travelled to Bome prior to creating this? Since I’ve never been, for me it remains very much a fantasy of a place, but I think this fantasy image is very convincing.

Feels like lying in a praire and the weight of your body crushes the dandelions and weeds you would normally pull if they grew in your garden. Starts off bitter, fresh and green. Not very long lasting but worth it for the initial punch. Dries down into a woody citrusy lemongrass note

It smells like cold potato salad and wet mittens. If you like bright and juicy greens, then pass by. If you like ultra-light transparent natural whispers - you will be interested. It seems like there is a smell, but it seems like there is not.

Truly love this but it’s very short lived (I guess because it’s mostly naturals?). Green green green with a hint of lily and iris peeking through.
